“We had a wonderful experience working with Jessica! Jessica took care of our two kittens for about a week while we were on vacation. She was SUPER responsive, quick to reply, and gave us regular updates. It was such a relief knowing our cats were well taken care of while we were away! Our cats were happy and well cared for when we returned. We absolutely would recommend her, and will definitely be booking again in the future!”

“Elizabeth was great! She went above and beyond for our old picky cat! She was friendly and sent several photos during check ins. Definitely would book with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for about 4 years, i have 2 dogs and 1 cat at my house so i’m very used to how they act, crazy or calm. I’m currently able to do full time for drop ins, walks and house sitting. I can do Mornings, afternoon and evening for your animals! I am also very flexible on weekends and can accept last minute bookings if needed. I leash my dogs when they go outside so i can do that with other dogs, i love to do tricks for treats with them and teach new tricks just for fun, i also love to take dogs on walks and make them feel comfortable with what they normally do on a daily basis.
“Kam did the job as requested keeping my kitties sane and fed in their family's absence. It was a great help because our regular sitter was unexpectedly unavailable and I had only a matter of hours to secure a new sitter. They were responsive and made themselves available to us on very short notice. I greatly appreciated that-- then I could go on our family vacation with our worries.”

“Samantha did a great job checking in on our cat, Louie. On a previous vacation, he came to a cat with a UTI because the person we hired (not through Rover.com) did not clean his box properly. Samantha kept us up to date on how Louie was doing and kept his boxes clean. We came home from vacation to a happy and healthy cat. I will definitely use Samantha again!”

“I would highly recommend Ashlyn to anyone needing a pet sitter! Our cat, Mocha, is very shy and doesn't always warm up to new people quickly, but Ashlyn had her coaxed out on the first drop in and spent plenty of time playing with her and giving her tons of love. We were able to relax on vacation knowing Mocha was so well taken care of and we will definitely reach out to Ashlyn again for our next trip away!”

“Lenny was super great she filled in for a girl that couldn’t make it she gave my epileptic dog Yapper his medication and she took my dogs out for a P break she was awesome I got to enjoy my time at my sons wedding shower I will definitely be using her again she’s punctual and she follows directions very well.”

“Thelma is a nervous dog, Ashliegh did a great job letting Thelma get comfortable with her during the meet and greet. Judging by the photos, Thelma felt quite at ease during the drop in!”

“Sierra did a fantastic job caring for our big fur-baby, and we loved the photos throughout her visits. She went above and beyond with communicating with us, and we will definitely be requesting her services again.”
“Jamie is truly wonderful. She is so pleasant to work with, she's great with our dogs and she is true to her commitments and then some. We got thorough reports, pictures of the pups, and she also left nice fall and Halloween treats for them. It made us feel so good to know that they are being well taken care of. I highly recommend Jamie for your pet sitter.”

“Britton was wonderful! She took great care of the animals, and went the extra mile to make our timid cat comfortable. Her communication was fantastic as well, I would highly recommend her!”

“Isabella was wonderful with my dog, Louie! She watched him for an hour each day over two days and made sure he got a nice walk and plenty of love. She was very sweet, attentive, and really helped keep him calm and happy while we were away. We felt very comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had animals in my life from the beginning. Right now I have 2 dogs, a cat, 2 Guinea pigs, and a fish :) I love caring for them and want to get back into walking, so this is perfect! I stay overnight to dog sit, so I have tons of experience! I’m a college student working part-time, so i would like to spend as much time as possible with your pets! As long as you let me know what’s up, I’d be happy to be of service :) I have a fenced in yard on a not-busy street, so the dogs can play (and even bark) freely as they please. I just want them to have fun!
“I don’t leave reviews but Kayla went way above and beyond for me dealing with my dog getting sick and cleaning it and handling my injured dogs bandages coming off and reapplying them for me! I couldn’t give more praise to her and wouldn’t recommend anyone else if you want the best care for you’re pet!”

As of August 2026, there are 1,208 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wooded Hills. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wooded Hills. On Rover:
- 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 94% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
