About: I have had animals my whole life. I did volunteer work at a humane society for 5 years, I also have been a groomer for the past 10 years. WeI am currently a stay-at-home mom, my hours are very flexible! Working around clients schedule would be just fine. About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
About: I grew up around dogs my entire life! My dad used to breed rottweiler puppies! I also have a puppy of my own (she’s 1.5 now so not so puppy) but I am experienced! I got her all on my own so all of her training was with me. She earned her good citizens certificate! I know that every dog has a routine and when I come into a home I try to mimic that routine as best as i can so that the dogs feel completely comfortable I currently work from 7am to about 2pm. But I am available to let them out before work and then once I am out of work my full attention is on your pets! I also have weekends off and when pet sitting I stay home aside from a quick trip to get food or something I do not offer at my home services. I unfortunately have 4 dogs in my home and it is already so chaotic! But I will absolutely take care of your pet in your home and respect your home like my own! At a meet and greet I try to get the dogs exact routine memorized so that while your away he feels more comfortable and hopefully safe with me. Back home, I had friends and family begging me to go on vacation so they could dog sit my dog, but here, without knowing too many people, finding a dog sitter was a really difficult ordeal. I live in a large home with my wife Kelly, two dog friendly cats, and a very chill dog of our own. Pearl and Boy are our orange kitties and Candy is a 55lb brown lab mix. Candy and I used to be a certified therapy animal team when we had more time on our hands. All three animals love company (mostly human company but other animals are more than welcome, too) so your pet will definitely not be alone while you're away between us five. We do have a fenced-in yard and all dogs are welcome to roam the entire house - especially if you also allow that in your home. But if your animal needs their own space, we have a loft area, the yard, and various dog beds to decompress throughout the house. The old owners of our home used to be dog breeders and the home came with amenities specifically catered to hosting dogs. While we don’t and won’t breed ourselves, these features of the home make a great dog-friendly home for any pet while you’re away! We both work full time but Kelly is home three days a week and I’m home the other two. Typically my day revolves around when I should take the dogs out anyway. Usually one walk around 7am, another around noon, another around 5 when I get back and one before bed. How we care for your pet will be completely up to you and how you normally care for them. The goal is to keep the disruption of a routine to a minimum while treating your dog to a change of scenery and a new friend
About: Each and every dog is treated like our own. We adore being able to share the love with our borrowed fur babies. Weather permitting the dogs are taken on two longer walks with as many potty breaks as needed between walks. Please let us know any special needs your friend may have and where your fur baby prefers to sleep. I work from home so the work breaks that caring for the dogs(whether it be feeding, walking or just playing) are welcome. Most always there is a dog laying at my feet while I work keeping me company. I have a multi level house with plenty of space for the dogs. They can find their place to sprawl out to nap, find a good place to roughhouse, or do a good session of rope pulling or ball toss I also have a very large fenced in deck to allow them to get some fresh air, play or sit by a fire at night with us

We are very intentional about how we care for dogs and we have found, dogs don't mind the long line since they still get to run their tails off! I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs who are dog neutral. My youngest dog is being trained for competitive obedience, one who recently retired and one who retired 2 years ago and works as a therapy dog as well as demonstration dog. He helps many dogs overcome their obstacles to becoming the well mannered pet many families crave. He is a gentle giant, I've learned much from him. He is always happy to see another dog, and understands respectful greetings, he is mild mannered and loves to play when released to do so. I am a runner, so if you are interested in a daily run for your pet during their stay, please notify me of this. My life is built around caring for pets. This was done intentionally and I am grateful for the opportunity to have your dog in my care. I can easily crate your dogs if needed. They are care for as my own. Each dog will be sent home with a treat bag made from single ingredient treats that we make.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
