About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will al be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: I've had dogs all of my adult life. I had 6 at one time and now have 2 Chihuahuas who I adore. I love all pets and want to be your pups best friend. I regularly pet sit for my 2 kids' dogs (Frenchie, Australian shepherd and golden doodle). I've also pet sat at a good friend's house for her 3 pups and brought my 2 also. I am retired so I have a lot of free time. I can walk or visit your pups regularly. My schedule is very flexible. I can help out at any time. I have a fenced yard and it is secure. My pups can't get out and they get along with all dogs. My pups are treated like the king and queen they are.

About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.

About: Hey y'all my name is Sara! I am a 30 y/o musician living on the Gulf Coast! I volunteer at state parks and play music around Florida and Louisiana, but I am based in Louisiana! I grew up in South Louisiana and I love it here! I have over 15 years experience pet sitting and a lifetime of experience with my own house full of pets. About: Hi! My name is Brion. (Bree-ahn) I’m a 32 year old female. I’ve always had some sort of pet in my life. I currently have a 1 y/o male golden doodle who is not spayed. I also have a 6 y/o daughter who absolutely adores animals. On weekends my daughter and I would love nothing more than a play buddy. We like taking walks outside and getting fresh air when needed. We live in a fenced home with a backyard, front yard, & a park. So there’s plenty of space for activities and energy. I also have a large cage of my own if needed.

About: I’ve grown to love the company of animals over people most days lol. I’m a doggy mom to a big Pitt/Hound 8 month old puppy named Cocoa & he’s about 75lbs already! I’m also a mom of 4 so I’m pretty good at multitasking. Im a chef & I also own a small cleaning business & have often times been entrusted with the tasks of pet sitting, feeding, walking & bathing of their fur babies while on jobs or just as help on days outside of cleaning jobs. I have healthy recipes for animal treats & love to watch them gobble them down once permission is granted by mom or dad of course. Animals tend to gravitate towards me & I absolutely adore the good feels I get from their pure energy & love. I would be more than happy to meet your new fur babies & take part in spoiling them a little. Im an entrepreneur so my schedule is pretty flexible outside of my kids… I usually only need a days notice of a needed appointment for smoothie sailing on both sides but I’m definitely open to being on call of sorts if ever needed in an emergency situation. I can make accommodations for pet sitting during the day or over night whenever needed but only in the clients home as my home as small kids present always. I have no issue with crating your fur babies if needed. I’m knowledgeable on how to harness a dog & I know how to restrain them if transportation is ever required. I’ll care for your pets just as I would my own, with love & kindness.

About: Mother of 5 furbabies and full-time non traditional student, caring and loving for animals is part of my daily life. I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and a lamb (Popcorn) for pets. Youth member of 4-H clubs for both sheep and rabbits. Animals and caring for them was part of my upbringing and part of my daily life. Currently, I have 5 furbabies - all rescues and ranging in size from toy Chihuahua to my big girl pit bull. I saved her from death row (so the pound told me) but the truth is, she picked me. I would have 10 more if legally allowed. My retirement goal is to own a senior dog rescue/retirement center so we can enjoy our golden years together. I'm currently a full-time student, so I have a fairly flexible schedule and I'm only in classes two days a week. I have owned all types of dog personalities and have reasons for loving all of them - from the active and playful to the calm and snuggly and to those in between. Cats share my attitude so we get along well with some kind of mutual respect for each other. I love the difference in personalities between cats and dogs - there's a lot of comedy to support this fact. I'm also a lover of New Orleans and a former tour guide - so walking for a living is not a new thing. I prefer the activity over sitting behind a desk. Most dogs love my doggie massages and I'm a worthy opponent for any tug-o-war game. I can throw a ball far, bounce a ball high, and hold my own with the frisbee. Dogs also say I'm a great conversationalist with interesting tidbits for about how old the fire hydrant they're marking is as well as keen safety information, like why dogs can't swim in the River and why I don't recommend the lake either. Dogs also like my firm but fun nature - like toddlers, dogs appreciate routine, boundaries, and to gain their respect you have to enforce them. I also do not believe in hitting animals. My dogs are just as terrified of a water spray bottle - much like most cats - and it's far less harmful than hitting/smacking/etc them. Placing your trust in a stranger for the care and love of your furchild is never an easy task. As a fellow fur (and human) mother, I get that. I am extremely prompt, love taking photos, and love walking the city. I have a reliable 4-door car as well, so whether your dog just loves R-I-D-E-S (shh! don't say that out loud) or you need me to get them to the vet while on vacation - rest assured, I can cover all bases.
