About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! If I could cuddle a gator I would!!! I have also done whelping services for many family members. I have done a lot of fostering and bottle feeding both puppies and kittens. About: I've taken care of dogs for family and friends for weekends and overnight stays when they went out town. I've walked , fed, played, and bathed them when needed. Mostly big dogs and cats but I am comfortable with small dogs as well :) I work remote so I am available all day to watch your fur children :) I am flexible with my schedule as long as I know in advance I am needed . “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Currently, I’m a college student. I can’t do Mondays from 2 to 5 but other than that I can do any day at any time I’d rather stay away from nighttime services for my safety. I have a fenced yard so plenty of room for them to play. I am a retired pup owner, so I would suggest you bring food and toys, but I will take care of them with all love and care and have fun!

I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.

I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.
About: I’ve been walking and caring for animals since I was a young child, so I bring a lot of hands-on experience and confidence in handling pets of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and how to keep them safe, happy, and well-exercised. I’m currently working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to pet care. I’ve developed strong time management and organizational skills that translate well into pet walking and training. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to be available during key times of the day for walks, check-ins, and consistent training sessions. Since I’m already accustomed to planning my day around routines, I’m able to reliably incorporate pet care into my schedule while maintaining a high level of attention and consistency. This flexibility also means I can accommodate client needs more easily and provide dependable, attentive care for their pets. I provide a safe and trustworthy environment by prioritizing consistency, attentiveness, and clear communication. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I’m able to closely monitor their behavior, comfort, and safety at all times. My experience working with animals since childhood has taught me how to recognize signs of stress or discomfort early and respond appropriately. I also maintain a clean, organized space and follow any specific instructions from pet owners regarding routines, feeding, and training. Building trust is very important to me, so I make sure to communicate regularly with updates and ensure each pet is cared for with patience, reliability, and genuine attention.
