While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Since I was five we’ve had cats. My first cat was a mean black tux named binx. I loved him with a passion and he’s now resting after about 14 years. Today I live with my three angels biscuit,peanut, and jam. They’re six I got them around 4-6 months old and they’re the sweetest. “Upon our initial Meet & Greet with Adam, my partner and I immediately felt good about working with them. Adam’s sensitivity, attunement, and ability to relate to animals was present from the moment they were introduced to our cat, Gonzi. Adam spent two weeks house/cat-siting while we were abroad and took care of him with an attentiveness and affection equaling our own. We received regular video and photo updates during our vacation. (Adam is a filmmaker, so the videos were extra special). In the videos Gonzi was purring, and had clearly developed a close bond with Adam, something that is quite unusual for Gonzi. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. I worked as a vet tech assistant and kennel technician at a Rio Del Mar Pet Hospital in Aptos, CA for 2 years. I was a stable care taker, at Little Paddocks Farm in Yorktown, VA for 7 years. I helped train dogs and horses, we also had pigs and cats that I cared for. I absolutely love plants too, so watering and maintenance is something I enjoy. I will happily take care of gardens and bird feeding as needed. My schedule is flexible, I base my schedule around pet and house sitting. I’m available for single day visits, as well as weekly and monthly agreements. I care deeply for animals, and truly enjoy comforting pets while the owners are away. About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.
About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

“Where do I begin? OK so I’ve never been able to get anyone to keep out Skye because she isn’t people friendly. My best friends come to the house and have been coming to the house since I got our dog and the amount of time she has tried to attack them is insane. It has been very difficult to travel and find someone that can deal with her. A while back I use Rover when she was younger, and after about an hour, she calmed down and allowed the person to watch her. So now that our dog is much older, ehhh it’s worse. So knowing that I needed to take a vacation for eight days, I had no hope. I did not know what to do with her. So I jumped on Rover and went through all the options. I seen Ben’s name five times and kept passing it up, but God kept sending me back to his name. Honestly, it was a reason why. I contacted Ben and begin to have a conversation with him and naturally, I kept getting the aura that he was the right person for our Skye. Oh boy was I correct. On the day of drop off, I was super nervous for Ben. I warned him a lot of times that she may try to attack him and to just be prepared and be patient. He has nothing but patience. He believed in his ability to be able to handle her before he even met her. His calm presence is nothing short of amazing. So when we arrive to his home, I slowly took Skye out out of the car and began to walk to Ben. I’m not going to lie, I was extremely nervous. Skye sniffed around his yard with no aggression and not one time tried to attack Ben. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Been allowed her to freely come to him. He calmly greeted her and instantaneously, they bonded. This is something that has never been able to take place with my Skye. For this, I am giving him 1 million stars. If you have a pup that is full of anxiety and it’s always snapping at people, I promise you, if you select Ben to be your caretaker, you will never regret it. I truly appreciate you. I really really do. He sent pictures, gave me updates, and never once made me feel like I was a burden with asking questions.”
