About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all personalities, sizes, and energy levels. I previously worked with Wag and have walked 100+ dogs, giving me experience with everything from energetic pups to shy or nervous dogs. I’ve also had my own dog, Chewy, for 7 years, and he’s truly my best friend and travel buddy. I’m attentive to each dog’s individual needs, comfortable with different routines, and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is always for your dog to feel safe, loved, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in between jobs and actively job searching, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I have my own dog, Chewy, who I’ve cared for for 7 years, and taking care of him is a big part of my daily routine. We typically walk about 3 miles a day, and I’m used to keeping a consistent routine with walks, meals, playtime, and plenty of attention. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while making sure to follow their individual routine and their owner’s instructions. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and giving pets plenty of affection and companionship. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep things clean and tidy while making sure their pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. About: I've worked with many breeds of dogs. Mostly small to mid-size dogs with a variety of traits. Mostly working dogs namely Blue Heelers & Huskys. I tend to live an active lifestyle and that means hiking/walking/and lots of exercise. Rest assured both me and your pooch will be getting a good workout! In the past I've facilitated overnight lodging for dogs, and temporary stays of up to a few days. Be noted I do not currently have a large open or fenced in yard. I work with neighbors and friends pets on quite a regular basis! I regularly feed, train, walk & care for pets when away or on business! I work from home so this environment provides a perfect spot for pets to be nurtured & played with consistently! I always check prior to booking any special exercise and or dietary needs of your pet. Ensuring door remain locked when inside and timer's are set for when pets receive food upon client preference. Safety is of the upmost priority, so I will discuss a full plan and schedule so you know where you pup is and his progress while away. I will send regular check in photos to provide accountability for myself and the clients well being.
About: Having grown up in a household filled with pets – 5 dogs, 3 cats, 3 hamsters, 2 birds, and a guinea pig – my love for animals has been a constant in my life. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I love all animals and treat them all as if they were my own! I currently do not work-so my schedule is wide open and flexible to take care of all of your pets needs. I am open to walking, dog sitting and more! About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I personally own two cats. I have dog/cat sat for weeks on end with no issues. I love to play fetch with the dogs and play with cats when they find the time! I will drop everything I can to ensure that the animals in my care are well taken care of and that the area around them is better than when I arrived. I currently work in Spokane, WA at an accounting firm from 8-5 everyday with an hour lunch break. I am free almost every weekend and would love to spend time with some animals in my free time. I keep all areas clean; I clean up after the animals 2+ times a day or when necessary. I ensure they are fed at the correct times with the correct amount of food and ensure that their water is clean and full every day. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
