About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. At age 19 I started working at a vet clinic This just advanced my love of animals and their care even more! Fast forward to today, and I own my own in home grooming salon ❤️ I have continued to volunteer with the local rescues and shelter every chance I get. 2 years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to become a puppy raiser for a veteran service dog foundation. That was the very best experience i could of asked for! My knowledge of dogs extends into training, grooming and care. I'm knowledgeable with cats and other small animals as well! Coming from a farm and vet background, I have experience with just about every animal including exotics. My personal dogs are all very well socialized with other animals of all kinds. They all have extensive training and are completely safe with others. They know just how to make our new guest feel right at home! All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! All baths/ grooms come complete with a cute Pic! Please feel free to reach out with any questions ❤️ I work from home in my at home grooming salon, so your pet will never be alone. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. My Backyard is attached to the house and fully enclosed with a large wooden privacy fence. Pets are never left outside unattended and are kept in my view at all times.
“Sasha had a great time running and playing with the other dogs in the yard. She doesn’t have a fenced yard at home so it was a special treat for her. Judging from the photos sent Sasha was in her glory.”

About: I am an avid pet lover, who would much rather have 4 legged friends than 2 legged ones. I have been taking care of dogs and cats at my house for the past 8 years as well as pets of very close family members and friends. My dream when I get older is to have a rescue operation where I can watch all sorts of dogs and cats in need until they find a good home. Animals are my passion, and I want to share that passion with you. I am now done with college so I have all the time in the world to watch your adorable pets for ya. I am open most of the day and can easily work around plans so you can have someone there to take care of your little precious animal(s). My dogs at home get daily loving's and exercise not only from me, but from my family. I do not have a fenced in back yard so when the weather is good, I try and get their legs stretched and give them a chance to sniff every blade of grass within 1 mile of my house:) I am willing to work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and weight. You tell me what you want done, and I'll see to it that it gets done. There is nothing more fun than giving some love back to those who love you unconditionally.
“Kai was so incredibly sweet. She worked with our crazy schedule and drop off arrangements. We originally opted for just daycare but Kai offered to keep our boys overnight so we didn't have to go out of our way after a long day just to drop them back off the next morning. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day and our boys looked happy, relaxed and at home. I would definitely recommend Kai to watch your pets!”
About: I have a lot of experience caring for animals! We have had animals my entire life, and I currently now have 5 of my own. Anyone who knows me knows I am an animal lover and your dogs will feel at home here. I do have children ages 6 and 3 and one cat. I currently only work 2 days a week and have 2 kids who love to go on walks! So I am home most of the day and I am also able to walk any time of day! In my home I have a privacy fenced in backyard for your dogs to play in! I also have a crate that they can go in if needed!

About: Hi I'm November! I am a dog groomer based in Hodgenville KY. I have always loved taking care of, and hanging out with, all the fur-babies I can! I am well-equipped to groom your pup while they are in my care, I can give or apply medicine at any interval as needed, go on plenty of walks, and entertain them with enriching activities set aside for each pet. I am a dog groomer based in my very own home! I am home all day and night long! I have a wonderful little puppy (German Shepherd mix) Sadie and she would be more than happy to help any home sick babies feel more than welcomed. All of my grooming clients are required to have their vaccinations and are the best play mates in between grooming! I have a fenced in yard and of course like mentioned Mrs Sadie here to help the homesick pups feel better. I also have 3 cats that are happy to meet other feline friends!
“Michael and Elizabeth took amazing care of my baby girl, Freya! They were kind, attentive, and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind. Freya came home happy and well cared for.”

“Dan and her family were wonderful to my furry baby. She kept me updated with everything going on (lots of nice walks which my pup loves). She was tuckered out by the end of the day which was great. Thank you!”

“Suki had a great time! Mariah was very sweet and texted immediately whenever I was being a nervous Nelly and checking in on my pup. Suki came home and went straight to sleep so I count that as a win!”

I keep my bookings very limited and only accept overlapping puppers when they’re a calm, proven fit. They will get the extra attention they deserve while also having a couple of canine playmates! I work from home so I am able to give your baby full attention, exercise and snuggles all day every day. They will have plenty of socialization and company. I have always loved animals of every kind. I have taken care of dogs for the past 20 years through myself or friends. I have raised & trained my sweet senior Doberman from 8 weeks old. I also have a rescue, a sweet senior Pomeranian that I have had for the past 11 years. In our free time we love going to the lake, camping, picnics in the parks, car rides, the dog park and the occasional pup cup! We would be thrilled for you to allow us to watch your sweet baby and go on adventures with us! I am always extremely flexible to fit you and your pet’s needs and schedule. I work from home so your fur baby will have constant companionship, mental, and physical exercise! About: 🐾 Welcome! Hello! You can call me Wendy. I’m a tenured physics professor and a lifelong animal lover with many years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pets while you’re away. 🐶 Exclusive Boarding – ONE Dog or ONE Family at a Time! Unlike boarding environments with multiple unfamiliar dogs, I welcome only ONE dog or ONE family’s dogs at a time. I never mix dogs from different households. Your pets will enjoy a peaceful, comfortable home environment with plenty of individual attention, affection, and care. They can relax, follow their familiar routines, and feel right at home. My goal is to make their stay feel like a little vacation in a loving home, rather than a boarding facility! 🐱 What About My Three Cats? I have three cats of my own, but they live in a dedicated sunroom that is completely separate from the main living areas of the house. Your dogs can enjoy the home without interacting with my cats. There’s no need to worry about your dog getting along with cats! ❤️ Experienced, Patient & Personalized Care I have experience caring for senior pets and understand the importance of routines, medication schedules, and paying close attention to changes in behavior and health. I’m patient, reliable, and detail-oriented. Whether your pet is young and energetic or older and needs extra patience and gentle care, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is simple: a safe, happy, home-away-from-home experience for your pets and peace of mind for you! As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. Whether you need house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding, litter box cleaning, or care for senior pets, I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I give my own.

About: I love the dog , They are very affectionate and family-oriented; I look after them with a lot of love, even though I don’t have any of my own at home. My daily routine is well-suited for pet care, as my job has a flexible schedule. And when I look after pets, my time is devoted entirely to them. I keep my pets inside the house and take them out to the garden to relieve themselves and play for a while; I also walk them around the neighborhood, and they have their own designated spaces inside the house where they can move about freely.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Withrow
We had an absolutely delightful experience with JULIE! Our dog is a Covid dog, meaning he spent way too much time with us as a puppy, and he can be very anxious about leaving us. The first time we left him with JULIE, he seemed anxious, but he quickly warmed to her and her home. We booked JULIE for two days, and the second day he was jumping on her and excited to see her. Julie was very flexible with us regarding timing, and she was fabulous at communication. We booked JULIE as we were traveling through the area, and when we are back in Kentucky, we will absolutely use her again. Thank you, JULIE for taking such great care of our sweet boy!

- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
