My dog, Biscuit, is very small & tends to be skittish around strangers/strange dogs, and Heather took care to introduce him one by one to the other dogs so he wouldn’t be overwhelmed, and provided plenty of space for him to choose how close he wanted to be to other dogs playing. By day two, he was visibly excited when pulling up to her house, and even chose to play(!!!!) with the other dogs! About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

About: My first dog was a Golden Retriever, and I was hooked! I wanted a career working with dogs and was a dog groomer at a boarding facility for 20 years, working with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personality types. Several of my grooming clients also boarded in my home. Personally, I’ve raised puppies and adopted seniors, so have experience with training and administering medications. I’ve started a second career and now work from home. My office has three dog beds, and my little dog is waiting for a friend to come over! My yard is small, but fenced, and I can take the furry friends out as often as they need to go. If your dog prefers a walk-about, I can accommodate that as well. Please note, due to my insurance I cannot accept Staffordshire terriers, pitbulls, or bully mixes of any kind. In addition, although the Rover weight class is 16-40 pounds, I only accept dogs that are 25 pounds or less. I want your dog to feel at home in my home! I’m happy to send you pictures during the day, or FaceTime you. I can administer meds, and will adhere to their own feeding/walking schedule. Because I work from home, your dog will have constant companionship. I have a ten pound Boston Terrier who loves playing with other dogs, but I’m in a three bedroom house, so there’s plenty of space if anyone needs time apart. My dog stays in my office with me when I’m working, and your dog can too! If your fur baby does not need constant supervision they would be free to roam around the house. I also have two crates if needed. My fenced yard is great for potty breaks, and I can also do leash walks, either with my dog or only yours if preferred.

About: I am an avid pet lover, who would much rather have 4 legged friends than 2 legged ones. I have been taking care of dogs and cats at my house for the past 8 years as well as pets of very close family members and friends. My dream when I get older is to have a rescue operation where I can watch all sorts of dogs and cats in need until they find a good home. Animals are my passion, and I want to share that passion with you. I am now done with college so I have all the time in the world to watch your adorable pets for ya. I am open most of the day and can easily work around plans so you can have someone there to take care of your little precious animal(s). My dogs at home get daily loving's and exercise not only from me, but from my family. I do not have a fenced in back yard so when the weather is good, I try and get their legs stretched and give them a chance to sniff every blade of grass within 1 mile of my house:) I am willing to work with dogs of all ages, breeds, and weight. You tell me what you want done, and I'll see to it that it gets done. There is nothing more fun than giving some love back to those who love you unconditionally.

About: I cared for (and spoiled) many relatives' pets when they went on vacation through the years. I also lovingly cared for my elderly parents for over a decade. I am a creative and crafty person, and I enjoy painting, sewing, and gardening. Being home most of the time, I would enjoy the company of furry friends! I only use natural cleaning solutions in my home; pets are provided filtered water. Common sense safety precautions that would be taken with any pet or with small children are implemented.

About: I am 24 years old, I own my home in Bardstown Kentucky. I have 2 baby girls under 2 years old, and 2 fur babies of my own, mini Aussie (3 years old) and a medium goldendoodle(3 1/2 years old). I am married and all of us in the house love dogs and welcome them into our home! I am a stay at home mama so I am here to take care of your fur babies at all times of the day. We have a fenced in yard so they can go out as they please and run around as long as they want. My pups are very attached to me and are treated as if they were human babies; and your pup will get the same treatment! They get their food bowls filled at the same time everyday, always have water in their bowl, they go out as they please and we have lots of toys to play with them and to play with each other.

About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. At age 19 I started working at a vet clinic This just advanced my love of animals and their care even more! Fast forward to today, and I own my own in home grooming salon ❤️ I have continued to volunteer with the local rescues and shelter every chance I get. 2 years ago I was blessed with the opportunity to become a puppy raiser for a veteran service dog foundation. That was the very best experience i could of asked for! My knowledge of dogs extends into training, grooming and care. I'm knowledgeable with cats and other small animals as well! Coming from a farm and vet background, I have experience with just about every animal including exotics. My personal dogs are all very well socialized with other animals of all kinds. They all have extensive training and are completely safe with others. They know just how to make our new guest feel right at home! All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! All baths/ grooms come complete with a cute Pic! Please feel free to reach out with any questions ❤️ I work from home in my at home grooming salon, so your pet will never be alone. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. My Backyard is attached to the house and fully enclosed with a large wooden privacy fence. Pets are never left outside unattended and are kept in my view at all times.

About: I’ve been taking care of animals all my life. I have vet tech experience, and dog training experience. Animals are a huge passion of mine. Sometimes I like them more than people 😉 I have a completely open schedule. I do work for myself so I can always work around yours and my schedule to give your furry family members the care and attention they deserve. I know how to read the body language of animals. About: I’ve lived around dogs and other animals my whole life. I’ve owed many different breeds of dogs. I feel like often my focus is dogs but I love all animals, cats, rabbits you name it. This is extremely Exciting for me because I love animals, I’m that person who is always wanting to take in that wondering stray. Simply I love interacting with dogs like I’ve been accustomed to all my life. My family bred cocker spaniels when I was a child so that meant cleaning crates, bathing, basic grooming (cutting hair, brushing, trimming nails) I know some training like crate training house training, basic commands such as sit, stay, lay down, come when called, and wait for food. I can work with all breeds and know quite a bit about all dog breeds and backgrounds. I’m currently self-employed and have plenty of time on my hands. My mornings make up most of my free time, so mornings work best for me. Currently I have two dogs of my own that run on a time based schedule that includes routine feeding, bathroom break, play, quiet time, and one daily chewy treat. Boarding, Walking or even just playing don’t hesitate to reach out, I’m here for all of your pets needs! I am a stay home mom, I have an online pet store that I manage, so I have plenty of free time on my hands. Pets are taken care of very well here. They are watched very intently. We have monitors and cameras in and outside of our home. Pet safety is my number 1 priority when you book with me.
