“Typically we book overnights with Jennifer with plenty of lead time. However, we had a death in the family and needed to travel out of state. I contacted Jennifer hoping she would at least be able to do a couple of drop ins/walks during our overnight. We were fortunate to book an overnight for the care of our pooch Fiona, and parrot, Wanda. Even during this short stay, Jennifer continued to work with Fiona on her leash manners, entering and exiting doors politely, and recall. Fiona and Wanda are regulars of Jennifer's, and we couldn't be happier!”

About: I started doing house sitting/pet sitting through families I cared for as a pre school teacher. It has grown to: “second families”, friends, co workers, references, etc. As sad as it is, I’ve also sat for animals in extremely poor medical conditions. This included going to the vet for meds. I had to gather a planner to keep track and trauma how I knew I was ready to begin doing more and more :) As I am writing this, I’m house sitting for a former co-worker. She recommended a great pill to help Mugsy during the 4th with fireworks. While we were gone she communicated great and took great care of our baby and left the house in great condition. About: We have two dogs ourselves, both with special attention needed. Whether your pet has allergies, people shyness, behavior issues and more, we have grown accustomed to that and realize that all animals deserve the same love, and we plan to provide that. We have experience with senior dogs, medications needing to be given on a schedule, bathing, playing, and lots of options for toys and treats. All that said, no need is too large as your pet deserves the same level of care as you would give to your family, because they are your family. When you go on vacation, your dog should get their own vacation as well! We both grew up around dogs from a very young age and have enjoyed the companionship of other animal types as well, from fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. Pet care is our daily routine. We both are blessed enough to be home throughout the entirety of the day whether that be working from home or being lucky enough to help make the home. We purposefully installed a fence for our house so that our dogs could run around and play, so your pet will get that exact same treatment. We have a quiet secluded neighborhood with lots of walking room and places to sniff, and seat protectors in the cars for on the go if your dog likes to see the world. Pup cups, dog parks, new places are all within reason.

“Julie watched our three pets for four nights while we were out of town and did a wonderful job. It was not the easiest situation as we have a highly anxious dog who is slow to warm up to new people and a high needs, elderly cat. We were worried about finding somebody to do all of the things involved in making it a stress free weekend for the animals, but Julie seemed to work magic and everyone was happy and well cared for while we were gone. Her communication was great and it was nice to get updates and know that I was OK back at home. We arrived home to happy animals and a very tidy house, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely have Julie over again the next time we go out of town. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was 10. Whether it be my own or my neighbors. I love to take walks and I treat all dogs with love as if they were my own. I’m currently available for the summer due to the fact that I’m home from college! I can walk anytime of the day and I’ll update my availability frequently in case anything comes up:) When walking dogs I think it’s important to always have poop bags on hand out of respect for neighbors and such. I also love to spoil them with a little treat after as well!
