About: Hi! My name is Sophia. I am a nurse with a passion for working with children that extends to loving on strangers' pets! Whether it’s a playful puppy or a senior needing patience and routine, I’ve cared for them and treat every pet like they’re my own. My uncle has two American bullies, and my aunt has a senior dog that I offer to take care of from time to time while they are away. Those three angels are the reason why I decided to get my own dog! I have a deep love for animals and a calm, confident approach to pet care that helps pets feel safe, happy, and stress-free. I work three times a week on a self-scheduled basis. I will make sure to update my availability as soon as my schedule is out. When I have my free time I would love to give some TLC to your fur babies and make sure they are content and happy! I will care for your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own three fur babies. Your pet’s safety and happiness come first. I will follow your routines closely to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I will make sure to provide you with regular updates and tons of cute photos while you are away. My goal is peace of mind for both of you!

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.

About: I worked at a boarding facility for 5 years, where I lead doggy day care, cleaned kennels, walks, and general care. I have experience with all breeds! I have been a petsitter for many of my friends. I love working with all dogs and giving them some extra love! I am a teacher off for the summer, so I have flexible hours! I am available for morning and afternoon walks, evening check-ins, and whatever other needs you have. I currently live in an apartment with one cat. I will be living in a townhouse in July. I do not have a fenced in yard.

“Skye is very loving to our babies. Did a great job dropping in and letting them run in the backyard. Showed love to them all. Delilah, Patches, and Amber were so happy to see her and to get loving from her.”

About: I'm a current dog foster through a local shelter, and I've been around dogs and cats for most of my life! I'm comfortable with most ages and sizes, and have picked up a lot of skills and knowledge on how to work well with dogs. I'm just as comfortable with cats, and I have some good experience cat sitting for relatives. I have a very flexible schedule as a graduate student, so I have a lot of availability to fit taking care of pets into my day/week. I try to keep a consistent feeding schedule and make sure dogs go out as soon as I return from being away. I make sure any hazards or chemicals are far out of reach, and always keep dogs on leashes when going on walks outside of a fenced in area. I make sure to monitor toys that can break into small pieces (nylabones, benebones, etc.). I am comfortable crating dogs if there has been previous crate training.

“Jess was such a great choice to watch my Sammy boy. We were gone from 5/22-6/1 and had no idea it was getting VERY warm here in Iowa. We did not yet have our window air conditioners in. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! We were in Florida and that helped eased my mind!! We’re already set up to have her take care of him later this summer. Thanks again Jess!”

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life. I’ve had labs, rottweilers, and pit bulls. I love playing, taking on walks, and visiting with any and all dogs. I would love to help you and your loved pets! I do work full time, 4 days a week. I have the weekends to visit and play with animals. I can also visit animals after or before work. I do not have the space to have dogs at my home. I am looking to do drop in visits, walks, or just spend time with them! For cats as well.

About: Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn about me! I have had a number of jobs in the past however most of them contained some element of caring for others (human AND friends with fur or fins!) Due to the pandemic I have found a couple of fun ways to earn some $. I enjoy being a driver for Uber and Lyft. And I have fun caring for a few of my neighbors' pets. I am looking to increase my income by expanding my pet care services. Things that set me apart from other pet sitters: * My schedule is wide open / VERY flexible! * I have a reliable vehicle. * I am a mature, caring, and dependable adult who enjoys all types of pets! I hope to hear from you!

“Katie did a great job with our cat. He had always been boarded when we were out of town and I was a bit nervious leaving him at home. What a great result. He was happy, healthy, and relaxed. When boarded it takes a couple of days for him to get back to his normal personality. I plan to schedule at home visits whenever we must be out of town. Thanks for your care and attention Katie.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a young child, but have been doing so professionally for 10 years. What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I am a full time vet tech and have been in the veterinary field for over 10 years. So I am uniquely qualified to administer all kinds of medications, including oral, transdermal, and injectable, as well as subcutaneous fluids. I am also a certified dog trainer so I am able to train puppies (and dogs of all ages) and keep up with their current training while you're away. I currently work full time, so I have limited daytime availability. I am off on Thursdays and Sundays as well as most Saturdays, but otherwise can only provide midday drop ins if they are within a short drive from my job in Waukee. I will follow your instructions meticulously and treat your pets as I do my own. I believe it is important to keep as close to a normal routine as possible to make sure the pets are comfortable with their pet sitter while their owners are away. I provide daily text check ins with pet parents as well as pictures of your beloved pet.

About: Hi! I'm Jenna. The "Me every time I see a dog. Do you share this reaction?" meme with Andy from Parks & Recreation is literally me every time I see a dog. I LOVE dogs, cats, sloths, sea otters and pretty much all animals in general. I have a huge heart and SO much love to give! I am very energetic, bubbly, and outgoing...I would love to meet some doggies (and maybe some humans in the process too) and give them some lovins' and exercise :) I work part time and my schedule is pretty flexible. I would love to walk your pups or play with them outside of my job. I am available for house sitting dogs and cats. I’m generally available in mornings or afternoons around 4 pm. Since I do work a variety of jobs I just need a days notice but I can usually work around your schedule for the most part! I have experience pet sitting in the home and have done jobs where pet parents are out of town for the weekends or for work trips and I am happy to watch the house as well. I have a kitty cat so I wouldn’t be able to fully board but I’m able to take your doggo on walks, to the park, to a patio, etc etc. I can watch the dog at my house in the backyard but wouldn’t be able to take them inside the home.
