About: I've pet/house sat for multiple people in the past. Animals include dogs, cats, fish, and reptiles. I like to have a meet and greet before ever staying with your pets alone. If you have any special diets or quirks make sure we discuss them in advance! I don't mind staying for a few hours to watch your animals or just drop in, whatever is needed! I have a nighttime job so, your animals will need to be able to be alone at night a few days of the week! I will discuss meal plan, how often you walk them/let them outside, and if they have meds with you prior to caring for your animals.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes since I was 5 years old. I was raised on a farm, and now live on one myself I am a teacher, and I will keep my availability open as my schedule allows. I will always make sure my schedule is updated. I make sure that your pet is my priority when scheduling any other events. I love being able to help you out as a fellow pet-owner. I want this to be as stress-free as possible! I am taking a break from house sitting at the moment but still available for other services.

About: I love making sure animals feel comfortable and welcomed. I have dog sat for my family for many years. I grew up having animals all around me and I love them to death and could not picture life without them. Helping out is something I love to do for people and making things as easy as possible for everyone involved. Give me the chance to love your animal when it’s convenient for you and I promise they will come home to you just as you left them and they will be super loved while in my care. Pets are like family members and I will always treat them as if they were my own. I am very patient with shy animals and I’m passionate as well. I’d love to have the opportunity to work with your animals. I do this a a side job to earn money to help support my family. I have taken care of animals all my life seen as I grew up with them. So technically I do this daily but as far as customers pups I do it as needed. I never let a dog outside without a lease unless the yard is fenced. In my home the doors that lead to outside are always locked! I have my pups that would love to play and tire out your kiddo. If parents prefers the dog can be kenneled, and as always we will send pupdates to ease the parents minds!

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.

About: Growing up, my family didn’t have pets, so I love my friends and family’s pets like they are my own! I am intentional and ask questions when learning from owners how to best interact with their pet(s). I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats, up to two of each at the same time. I prioritize playtime and being active with any pet I’m responsible for. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs, and can adapt my skills and schedule based on their unique needs. My schedule is extremely flexible as I continue the job search post graduate school. I am able to support pet owners with short-term drop ins, frequent walks for high energy pets, and extended stays. I am available to care for pets in their own home. I aim to ease any stress by keeping their environment familiar and maintaining their usual schedule as much as possible.

“Jess was such a great choice to watch my Sammy boy. We were gone from 5/22-6/1 and had no idea it was getting VERY warm here in Iowa. We did not yet have our window air conditioners in. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes small to extra large as well as cats and even some exotic pets. I have been the go to sitter for my friends and family every time they go on vacation. I love caring for animals and can’t wait to help you with yours. I am experienced with animals- puppies to elderly dogs, kittens to elderly cats. I homeschool my kids so I have a very flexible schedule and can work with what you need. I mostly have open afternoons and Friday through the weekend. While I’m taking care of your pet I will do all I can to assure they are taken care of physically as well as emotionally offering love, play and exercise, whatever it is they need that day. I feel the happiest when I’m caring for them:) I worked for two years at a local doggy daycare in waukee Iowa, where I gained lots of hands on experience supervising, playing with, taking care of, and ensuring safety of dogs of all sizes, ages and personalities. I have also been a dog sitter and walker for the past five years, building trusted relationships with both pets and their owners while providing dependable care, including administering medications and following detailed instructions to make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved!!! I am a sophmore in college at the University of Iowa! So my schedule is pretty flexible during the week days between classes and I’m open most weekends!
