I grew up having animals all around me and I love them to death and could not picture life without them. At one point, it got to 85 in our house. I was able to have a neighbor install the window ac’s. Jess was concerned for Sam and offered to stop by to check on him (on a day that wasn’t originally on the calendar). I truly appreciate her doing that! Very good with other dogs. We recently lost our older dog and Draco is missing having a buddy to run around with. I am a stay at home mom so I am home most of the day. About: Throughout high school and my first two years at college, I've consistently had the opportunity to dog sit for coworkers, friends, family, or people who knew me from a friend! I'm used to taking dogs on walks and caring for them in their homes. I currently don't have a pet of my own so it's always nice to hang out with other people's pets! I will be a student at Iowa State University this fall. I want to be able to get out and hang with your pet or take them for a walk! It'll be the perfect break from studying and any stress. My schedule at ISU is pretty flexible for anyone's pet needing care in the early morning, evening, or nighttime! I take extra precaution when I meet new pets to try and figure out and understand their nature and what's normal for them. I always ensure that every instruction from the owner is noted and followed. I love to form connections to new pets and watch them get comfortable around me or even become more and more excited to see me! I will only be able to visit the client's home as my apartment does not allow pets.

I also work part time at a cat cafe in valley junction so I work with cats on a regular basis. With general pet care I am always trying to be as available as I can. Im only unavailable once a week (typically Thursday and Fridays, but it differs). I am always very flexible. I have a fenced in yard and a dog at home that is fairly well behaved around other dogs. I do not have a crate at my home and would prefer to care for your pet in your home.

“This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). We received photos and updates during our whole time away and knew Blanca was happy and safe. We would be happy to use Jessica again in the future!”

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.
About: I grew up with dogs and now have 2 cats and 1 dog of my own. Our cats are both American Shorthair and our dog is a golden retriever! I’m currently a stay at home mom and we love watching some furry friends during our days! We can let them out multiple times, go on walks, and play. Our big fenced in backyard makes for a fun time! I have two very friendly cats who warm up quickly to other animals or hide until they feel comfortable! We also have a golden retriever who loves other animals and loves to play! About: I have experience with owning my own dog and also taking care of relatives/friends dogs when needed. My dog is a high energy GSP with separation anxiety. I understands the need for exercise and attention. It is me and my 6 year old GSP. I understand what it takes having a high energy breed and make sure she gets taken care of on the daily with playing ball, walks, and cuddles. I can easily add one more pup into the mix during our daily routines. I do not have a fenced in yard. I live next to a park where I run my dog almost daily. If we aren't doing that, we are going on walks around the neighborhood.
