“This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). I have weekends off and after 4:30 for sure every week day I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to roam and shade to cool off. I work full time at the University of Dubuque but my schedule varies day to day. I work split shifts twice a week and can take lunch whenever through out the day. I live on the second floor of my apartment complex with only one flight of stairs. There is a large yard space but is not fenced in. I also live near a walking path that goes around a pond. Swiss Valley is also only a short drive away. Pets are allowed anywhere in my apartment including furniture! The kitchen and bathroom are linoleum flooring and the living room/bedroom are carpet.

About: I've personally had many dogs of different sizes and energies, including a Border Collie, Boxer, American Bulldog. I have experience in training (reward training). I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. About: I found my first love for dogs when I was about 5, and begged my mom to rescue Burrito Bob. I then grew up always having a dog around. My junior year of high school I decided to buy my very own goldendoodle, Toby James. Toby is the best dog ever, and more so my child than my dog! I have 2 goldendoodle’s of my own, and they have learned very quickly what it’s like to be spoiled (we love drive through, the word pup-cup, and car rides! Of course we also love going on walks and runs! I have grown up living with 5 dogs at once of all different breeds! I’ve also recently learned how to groom my own doodles! I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. “Holly and her family are awesome. Sally and Sam really didn’t want to leave to come home. Holly kept me very up to date on what was going on with them. She sent photos also. I believe they had a great time and I will use Holly anytime we go on vacations.”

“This was my first time using Rover and I was pleased with Jessica’s quick response time and enthusiasm to meet and care for Blanca. The process was easy and drop off went smoothly. Jessica’s dog was in a kennel when we arrived to make drop off less stressful for both dogs. The pups were introduced after we left to get their sniffing done on neutral territory (on a walk out front). We received photos and updates during our whole time away and knew Blanca was happy and safe. We would be happy to use Jessica again in the future!”

About: I have had pets my entire adult life, and I know how important it is to you to find the right person to take care of them while you’re away. I am committed to taking care of your pets like they’re my own, and I’m excited to provide lots of love and fun! I work from home, and my husband is a full time dad, so we’d be happy to spend time with your pets, go for walks as a family, and see to their every need! We have pet gates throughout the home, extra kennels if needed, and a fenced in yard. We are also comfortable giving medication orally or via injection if needed.
