“This was my first experience using Rover, as our normal dog walker was unavailable this week. I was very pleased! Grace’s communication was excellent. She always responded very quickly. She gave a detailed summary of her visit and many photos! I could tell my pup was well cared for on her walks. My 17 year old cat also got some love too! I highly recommend Grace! I hope to use her again!”

About: I work part-time at a doggie daycare @ Lucky Dog Bark & Brew, where I care for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—from playful puppies to seniors, and from super social pups to those who need a little more patience and understanding. My hands-on experience has taught me how to read body language, manage group play safely, and provide individualized care for each dog’s unique personality. Whether your pup needs structured walks, calm companionship, or just someone to keep their routine steady while you’re away, I’m here to help. I work part-time at a doggie daycare evening shifts four days a week and one morning shift on the weekend, but I’m still fully able to provide quality care for your pet and fit their needs into my daily and weekly routine. Whether it’s drop-in visits, overnight stays, or in-home boarding, I plan my pet sitting schedule around my work to make sure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. I always allow time for feeding, walks, medication (if needed), and quality one-on-one time. If your pet has a specific routine or care needs, I’m happy to work with you to make sure everything stays consistent while you’re away. I’ll come to your home for drop-ins, walks, or overnight stays, helping maintain your pet’s normal routine in their own space. This is ideal for pets who are more relaxed at home or who need extra consistency. In my home I offer comfortable, personalized care for dogs or cats who enjoy a cozy, quiet space away from home. I have a dedicated spare room just for pet guests, where I can safely store their belongings (beds, toys, food, etc.) and give them a calm space to settle in. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and set up with all the essentials for safe and happy boarding, including cleanup supplies, food/water bowls, and pet-safe cleaning products. If your dog is crate-trained, please provide their crate so they have a familiar, secure space to relax in. I want them to feel as comfortable and at ease as possible during their stay.

About: I have always had a deep love and passion for all animals, they bring me so much joy and happiness. Animals saves us more than we save them! It easier for me to do my online college course and animals make me feel free and loved. The love they give is like no other! I treat everyone animal as if it my own. I wouldn’t want someone to treat my animal badly. I would respect the animals owners and their rules!

About: I grew up in a home where we always had at least two golden retrievers and its something i’ll always be grateful for. Taking care of dogs from their crazy puppy phase to when they need extra care as a senior has always been a part of my life. Getting to work with dogs is simply a pleasure and I always look forward to meeting a new friend. Right now my schedule is pretty clear. I want to focus on getting the opportunity to work with new clients and getting to meet all the new furry friends! If im visiting your home I would like to meet and go over everything your dog would need. Making sure your dog has a happy visit is my top priority!

About: I've loved animals my whole life. When I was 15 I finally got my own dog, Piper (an 8wk old Catahoula mix). That following Summer I began to care for three other dogs for a few days a week at their home, letting them out and playing with them. Likewise, the summer before college I worked at a boarding kennel/day care. I enjoyed playing with and caring for nearly 20 different dogs every day! In August of last year, my husband and I got our very own dog! Her name is Fern, and she is another Catahoula! *NOTE* I work 7-6 M-F Charlotte at a doctor’s office. Thus, I am unfortunately unable for drop-in services during the day. If your dog requires round the clock care, I unfortunately cannot be your person. I am willing to negotiate rates if you need to hire a midday dog-walker while I take care of nights. I believe in complete transparency and wouldn’t want to promise something I couldn’t do. My husband helps me out from time to time during the day on the weekends if I get stuck in clinic! He will sometimes stay in my place, and always comes to the first meet and greet. He’s also a verified animal lover (and the one in all the pics!) At my apartment complex, we have a fenced in dog park that I can allow our dogs to play in. Likewise, I have the space to crate your dog if needed. I believe in positive reinforcement training, and will be sure to give your pet lots of (approved) treats and love.

About: I actually am going to school to become a veterinarian currently and I have more experience in different settings than most people. . . . I am currently a college student looking for a part time job to help me get more experience for vet school and to keep me motivated. I care for your pets as if they were my own. I can do any task you need me to complete for you and your pet gracefully.

About: I only work a few hours each week, so I can spend plenty of time with my animals. I have received professional training to make sure I can give my fur-babies the healthiest & happiest life I can. And I would love to extend that to your fur-babies too! You can drop your fur-baby off as early as 8am and pick up until 5pm. After 5, I will be feeding them dinner and getting them ready for bed. I will only use positive encouragement and positive training methods. There will never be any yelling or swear words used for your fur-baby to hear! This is as important to me, as I hope it is for you! I have a few of my own, your fur-baby can join in on the fun & learn my routine. Your fur-baby will pick right on my routine very quickly! I will do my very best to keep your pet safe! I will love in them while they are here! Your pet will just be a part of our extended fur family

I have a fenced backyard for the pups to run and play. I have 2 dogs that love to play with other dogs! I also live within minutes of multiple parks to walk and play at.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs since a kid. My nana was a foster home for dogs and I helped her a lot by bathing them, feeding them, changing their pins, and playing with them. I am also a babysitter but that is the only thing I am committed to for this summer! I am very flexible with hours and love spending time with pets! I will take care of the pets as if they were my own. I know it is a big deal trusting someone to watch your pets. I have had dogs ever since I was born so I understand the responsibility of taking care of these precious animals!

About: I have owned small dogs, large dogs. Active dogs and lazy dogs. Dogs who are afraid of noise and dogs that will chase fireworks. I can play fetch and walk, whatever your dogs physical needs are I can keep up. Recently laid off after 21 years with the same company. Always been an animal lover and I decided to give this a shot for now. I have a double fenced in yard meaning I can separate animals if needed. Essentially it’s two back yards. I also have multiple security cameras.

“While me and my husband were out of the country for two weeks, Quinn took such good care of our two beloved kitties, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We came home to happy, relaxed cats and everything in perfect order. She kept us updated regularly with sweet photos and little notes, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. It was obvious that she treated our pets like her own, and that really helped me stay less stressed on our vacation as it was our first time being away from my babies that long. We’d be happy to have her watch our cats again any time!”

Antonio C.

“Did a great job with my new girl. Was very patient with her anxiety!”

Michael H.
“Mike has been a great friend of mine for many years. He has 3 golden retrievers whom he loves and cares for wholeheartedly. Having 3 dogs is no easy responsibility, but Mike always makes sure they are cared for properly with daily exercise and quality time. He has no shortage of love for other dogs, and I would trust him with my own. Additionally, I have two senior cats, one male and one female. The male is terrified of men due to his shelter experience as a kitten before we adopted him. Mike was able to get my cat to trust him over time with repeated visits and gentle, but not overwhelming, compassion shown. In this business, it can be difficult to find someone trustworthy to care for your animals. I know this because I, too, work in the pet care industry and have done so since 2015. I have heard countless stories of people who shirked their responsibilities and did not care for the pets they promised to care for. You will not have to worry about this when you hire Mike. He is a responsible, wonderful animal lover, and he will treat any animal he works with like his own.”

Kelsey B.

“My pugs LOVE Kelsey! They just excited just hearing her name.”
