“Kelly responded quickly and was very easy to work with. I felt comfortable selecting her as my dog's interim caregiver while I was away for an event. We did a meet & greet, my dog loved her, and the entire process went smoothly. As a Rover user of nearly a decade (and a nervous dog mom), I am pleased to have found Kelly.”

“Janine was so good. We had some issues with our security system and she was so flexible. She sat up in our bedroom where the kitties were instead of expecting them to come down to her. We truly appreciate her.”

“Absolutely! Here’s a glowing review for your Rover dog sitter: --- I couldn’t be more thrilled with the care my furry friends received! Aisha, my Rover dog sitter absolutely deserves 5 stars. She was attentive, super communicative, and treated my dogs nice. I got plenty of updates and adorable photos that kept me at ease. Highly recommend and will definitely book again!”
“Samantha is punctual and always gives our girl special care. We get lots of pictures and she is very communicative if she has any concerns. Our Ruby sometimes stops eating the first day we are away, and Samantha watches her closely to ensure she is at ease during the visit. Thank you Samantha!”

And have so much love for pets I take of my pets like if they were my children. Whenever I have free time I like to help others with there pets. I don’t have a job right now so I can work any hours of the week. Full time would be much better, and preferred I have a flexible schedule. About: I have been taking care of animals for 3 years now. This includes horses, cats, bunnies, and dogs of all sizes and ages. I also volunteered at an animal hospital for 1 year and gained knowledgable information I still use today! I am currently working from home where I make my own schedule so I can fit any dates or times you may need your furry friend to be looked after! I am very careful with all animals no matter the activity. Wether that be having a firm and focused grip on a leash when walking your furry pal or being aware of other animals that could cause unforeseen troubles, I am very vigilant when it comes to the safety of your animal.
“Kristopher was great! He came over a few days early to meet our dogs Chase and Charlie. Both dogs warmed up to him immediately. Kristopher was great with communication and I loved the daily photos. I would recommend Kristopher to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

About: I am a work from home mom who loves pet sitting. I started this journey a few years ago, and has had the privilege of hosting several dogs of all ages, personalities and sizes. My children absolutely love animals, especially dogs, so there will be lots of cuddles and love from us. I take dog sitting very seriously, so I am very careful, and I always aim to please my pet parents, so I am always sending pictures, videos, and making sure your baby is happy and well taken care of. I am big on staying fit and healthy, so I take daily walks to get my steps in. I am very accommodating, so nothing is ever too much for me. I’ve had pet parents ask me to scramble eggs for their fur babies and put it on top of their dog food, and I’ve also had pet parents tell me to only feed their fur baby with a spoon, so please don’t hesitate to ask for any special request, because I aim to please! I work from home during the week and I have lots of down-time allowing me to interact and play with your fur baby . I am off during weekends and holidays I have a big house with an unfenced yard, and a loving family that will play and love on your fur baby. We will take daily walks, play outdoors, and have lots of play time and cuddles.
About: I've been around and cared for animals my entire life, growing up with both dogs and cats. I still help care for my family's pets and also have a cat of my own, so caring for animals is a big part of my everyday life. I also grew up near neighbors who fostered dogs and puppies, and I loved spending time helping socialize and play with their foster puppies. This gave me experience being around puppies of different breeds, sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I'm comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, litter box care, puppy care, and keeping pets company while their owners are away. I'm patient, dependable, attentive, and understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I'll always follow your care instructions closely and treat your pets with the same kindness and attention I'd want for my own. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care throughout the week. I'm available for weekday walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting, as well as many evenings and weekends. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so incorporating walks and pet care into my routine is something I'd genuinely enjoy! Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine will always be my priority. When caring for pets in a client's home, I'll carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I understand that every pet is different, so I'll take the time to learn their personality and make sure they feel comfortable with me. I'll also keep you updated (with lots of pictures if needed!) while you're away so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
“Cassie was great! We needed a sitter with sort notice and she was happy to help us. Our GSDs are a little particular but they warmed up to her quickly. She had great communication and we felt our dogs were being well taken care of.”

About: I have always loved caring for animals and treat every pet like a member of the family. While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, that allows me to provide your dog with my full attention and a calm, comfortable environment during their stay. My home features a secure fenced-in patio with pet-friendly turf for outdoor time, and I’m fortunate to have a large dog park directly across the street as well as another dog-friendly area within my neighborhood. Whether your pup enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply relaxing, I can tailor their care to their individual needs. I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities, and I have also volunteered with animal shelters, giving me a strong understanding of dog safety and behavior. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I would be honored to provide reliable, attentive care for your dog. I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am currently a nursing student and stay at home mom. This allows me to give your fur babies my full attention and lots of love and interactive play! I believe every pet is happiest when their normal routine is maintained as closely as possible. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, favorite activities, medications, and any special instructions. In my home, pets receive plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, potty breaks, and a clean, safe environment. Dogs have access to a fenced-in patio with pet turf and can enjoy walks or trips to the nearby dog park if approved by their owner. Cats are provided with a quiet, comfortable space, fresh water, clean litter boxes, and enrichment activities tailored to their personality. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I follow all care instructions carefully, provide regular updates and photos, maintain feeding and medication schedules, clean up after pets, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection while their family is away. My priority is always making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners peace of mind.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
