“My first experience was amazing! Adrienne ensured my little one was safe and cared for. She walked me through the process with so much patience. A bonus…she is an amazing pet photographer!”

“Our girls love going to grandma's house! We jokingly say that because it is exactly how it feels - the atmosphere, the comfort, Evelyn's sweet demeanor. She takes great care of our girls and really does care. We can't recommend her enough!”

“When our dog sitter canceled the day before we were to leave, Someone recommended Rover. I was hesitant, but I found Sabastian and was happy with his bio. He responded immediately and agreed to get our dog the next day. I am so thankful to them. He and his family took such good care of our baby. He sent us pictures throughout the stay and reassured everything was great and our dog was enjoying thier dogs. Our dog was well taken care of and healthy and happy when we picked him up. Sabastian was very welcoming and kind to us and our dog and I am so thankful that we found him. We will definitely use him again.”

“I had a weekend trip planned and my plans for my two dogs fell through. I really am not a fan of traditional boarding and nor are my dogs. I decided to give this app a try since I have heard positive things. I came across Raquel’s profile and so happy that I did. She quickly responded to me and was very flexible and accommodating. She sent me pictures throughout my dog’s stay and I swear one of my dogs looked like she was smiling in the picture lol! They were both so happy and comfortable. I could tell they felt safe and were enjoying themselves. And I could tell that Raquel has a genuine love for what she does. As a dog parent, I want my dogs to be in a safe and fun loving environment and that’s what she provided.”

“Isabela was amazing with our yorki. She sent regular updates with pictures and was quick to respond whenever I reached out!! We will definitely be using her again in the future! Thank you so much for treating our dog like it was your own :)”

“This was my first time using a Rover sitter so I was nervous but Nontombe made my fur baby feel so loved and sent me video and photo updates regularly to help put my dog mom guilt at ease during my extended time away on an international trip. Highly recommend her!”

“They took amazing care of my dogs. They came back happy and completely exhausted, which tells me they had a great day. If you’ve got a high-energy pup, they’re exactly who you want watching them.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Winnsboro
Thank you, Sallie, for making my vacation so relaxing without any worry about the love for and care of my loving companion, Sweet Pea. I knew leaving her in someone else's care would be one of the hardest things imaginable. Boy, was I wrong. Sweet Pea's stay with Sallie was GREAT for her getting loved, playing with other dogs, safe spaces to run, nice shade to take a rest and a home designed for a dog's comfort, safety, and most of all, LOVE. The slight drawback was that I don't think she missed me because she was so "at home" with Sallie's family and their dear dogs who shared their home. Do I recommend Sallie? 1000+%. Will Sweet Pea go back?---you betcha! Goodness, let me not forget...daily pictures and communication were icing on the cake.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
