“This was our first time ever boarding our 17 month old Shih Tzu. And we had to leave him in the cone of shame for a sore he wouldn’t stop licking. I was uneasy to say the least. About: I’ve had dogs as pets all of my life! Big dogs, small dogs aged from 6wks -11years old! Dogs are more than just a pet to me, they are family! I’m currently working full time from 8:30 am - 5 pm! I am available weekends and during the week operating around my work schedule! I also have a 4 year old son! About: I've had dogs for the last 40 years, and before. There are 3 in my home now. One has been with me and my children for 14 years, one for 8, and one is a new arrival at Christmas. I'm retired but still work about 10 hours a week. My schedule is extremely flexible and I can be available most any time to care for your pet's needs. My 3 dogs go out the back door into the fenced-in back yard. They are friendly and get daily walks in my neighborhood. Your dog can be crated too, if necessary.

Growing up we raised 13 German Shepherds! I graduated from a Christian high school and have graduated with a bachelors in Biology. About: My family were presidents of a border collie rescue. I've had over a thousand dog of all shapes and sizes come through my home and currently I own one dog and my parents own 3 dogs, 4 bunnies, and many reptiles. I've had animals in my life all my life I own a dog. So pet care is a daily task of my life. I love taking my dog to the park and long hikes and I've always had a real love for animals as a whole. My dog is super alllergenic so I've had dogs that require medications every few hours. I would say being on top of meds and consistency is always a top goal. Making sure they aren't having symptoms and daily exercise and play time is a priority as just like us dogs can become depressed cooped up. I have a large suv so taking dogs on rides of any size or multiple is no issue for me. hiking and exploring is always a fun time for me and my puppy and I hope to share it with yours.

About: Update: I will not be available May 18-25, and Jun 2-14 I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.

Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. About: Following the passing of our beloved 13 year old furbaby Zoe shortly after Christmas in 2024, my husband Kenny and I decided to honor her memory by offering dog boarding services in our home. We wanted to create a space where other dogs would receive the same love and care that Zoe did while their owners are traveling or away. Now that we are both retired and home full-time, we are able to provide a calm, comfortable, and loving environment for dogs, free from the stress often found in traditional kennels. Our home offers a peaceful setting where dogs receive individualized attention and care - no concrete kennels or constant barking, just a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Both Kenny and I have had dogs throughout our lives, often with two or three dogs at a time, as we do now. We have always adopted rescue dogs and regularly foster, with the aim of giving dogs a better future and a loving home. We have never, ever regretted this commitment. Currently, our family includes two dogs and two cats, all of whom get along well, are low-key, and are deeply loved. We have ample space and resources to care for your dog (or dogs!) as well, and would be delighted to do so. Additionally, we are pleased and honored to offer very low cost long-term boarding for any military service members who are deploying and need assistance caring for their dogs while they are away. Please feel free to reach out for more information. My husband and I are retired and have ample time and resources to provide exceptional care for your dog, just as we do for our own pets, as well as those of our friends and family. Although we do not have a fenced yard, we walk your dogs leashed. We live out in the country on a lake, in the middle of nowhere on our own private 2 acres, on a dead end cul-de-sac with no traffic at all. We have a very large 20'x30' detached game room that is our hangout space, and would be where the dogs played indoors and could bed down. We have smoke detectors and a monitored alarm system that covers the house and game room. We have an excellent Vet available in Newberry, as well as access to a visiting emergency Vet service here at the house. There are no children or aggressive dogs here.

I was a manager at a boarding facility before I moved here to SC and now I am working full time at a vets office as a vet assistant taking care of so many animals. I just wanted to add more animal care to my day to day life by taking care of some of your babies in their safe place at home! About: I currently provide pet care service, including dog walking, check ins, etc.. I love animals of all kinds and have experience with a variety of different pets! I own two dogs myself, have owned two cats and have several dogs I walk per week. I enjoy walking and exercising dogs and playing with pets. I worked at animal shelter for almost a year so I understand how to apply and give meds. I understand that caring for your pets includes love and attention. About: I have had pets since before I could walk. Beyond the experience with my own pets, I have been a vet tech for five years and have considerable experience in recognizing potential medical problems. Currently I am available throughout the week and weekend. As long as my River calendar shows I am available, then I am open for booking. I will only walk on lead and have two small dogs who love to have play dates. I will feed each pet separately and assure they each get one in one attention.
About: Since age 4 I've had an animal in my home. I've brought home so many of our family pets over the years basically off of the streets. I cared for them faithfully and lovingly until they crossed that rainbow bridge. I’m used to keeping routines consistent—feeding, playtime, and keeping the litter box fresh daily. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same level of respect and attention. I follow any instructions closely, make sure pets feel comfortable in their own space, and give them lots of love and care to keep their routine as normal as possible while their owner is away.
