About: I’ve been caring for both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a 23 year old UCLA graduate who truly loves spending time with pets, whether that’s going on walks, giving extra cuddles, or making sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I’m excited to continue doing what I love most while also supporting my schooling, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m currently working part time as a substitute teacher and would love to spend early afternoons or nights with your fur babies! I’m also free to take walks any time of the day on my days off or morning or afternoons during work days! I currently live in an apartment with a guest bedroom that can be used entirely by your fur babies. I'm also very willing to travel to the comfort of your home so your fur babies don't have to experience any extra stress of a new environment
About: Wanting an attentive dog sitter for your furry friend that can play and provide physical activity? I have had dogs since the age of 5 years old. I am blessed to have dogs as part of my family. I have experience caring for puppies and older dogs alike. I have a lot of love for dogs and cats and I spoil my two dogs Gizmo & Canela. I also have Oreo, our kitty that is the new addition to our home. I would love to care of your furry loved one while you are away like if it were my own. When pet sitting at owners home I can make sure your dog gets the exercise and play it needs. Any needs or concerns you have I will gladly accommodate to the best of my ability. I'm currently working in the weekdays but I am totally free most weekends to care for your dog(s). And free in the evenings weekdays and weekends for walks and to dog sit for a few hours. I take my dogs out for potty breaks and physical activity three times a day every day and can do the same or more for your furry friend. I love to play tug of war with my dogs and will do the same with your pet. I like to stimulate my dogs minds by giving them treat puzzles. I have a play gun I can use that shoots out a small tennis ball that my dogs love to chase and bring back to me. I also have lots of plush toys your furry friend can play with of needed. If caring for dog at client's home I can make sure their dog is looked after by feeding the dog the clients desired food and treats and by giving the dog various opportunities to be active both inside and outdoors. And of course if outdoors in the community for a walk always with their leash on at all times unless otherwise discussed with client. And I will always give the dog the opportunity to relieve themselves several times during the day.

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover and owner. I was a weekly volunteer at the Evanston Animal Shelter in the Chicago area so I have experience handling and walking dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have three dogs in my home, and last Winter fostered a momma Chihuahua and her litter of 7 so I have a LOT of puppy experience. I’ve had a deaf dog in the past so I am also experienced with special needs dogs. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and I’m around most of the time so I can accommodate most schedules. I know it can be stressful to leave your pups for any amount of time, but they will be well taken care of while you're away. I’m more than happy to provide updates by text or email as needed. I have three dogs of my own so pet care is a big part of my daily routine. My schedule is flexible which allows me to care for different pets and accommodate a variety of pet owner needs and drop in schedules. If they are staying at my house, I have a fenced backyard and lots of room for them to run around. They are always supervised when playing with my dogs. My dogs are dog and people friendly and they are used to being introduced to new dogs. If providing care at your home, I am there to provide care for the pets so they will receive lots of attention. Can provide local references if needed.
“My dog has given her paw & wags of approval to ReShan. As a rescue, she takes her time to give trust & affection, & she has given both to ReShan. He has helped with walking & boarding my dog, who is large, strong & not well-trained. ReShan has her walking nice on the leash, giving me hope that I can also achieve it. He treats us both with love & respect. I am so thankful for his involvement in our lives. Thank you, ReShan, for your loving care of my best buddy.”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Wineland. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Wineland.
Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wineland. On Rover:
- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
