“We have used Katie as our pet sitter several times now and are very happy with her. We initially chose her because one of our cats needed oral medication and her veterinary experience was a plus. Katie always lets me know if a package has arrived or if there are any issues at home. The photos are a wonderful way to check in on our critters while we’re gone.”
“I had a wonderful experience with Sam. She was attentive to my dog’s needs, always on time, and kept me updated with great communication throughout. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing they were in reliable hands. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!”

“Maycelin was great. She had never met my boys before and I have a very timid cattle dog. She was able to get him out to pee and poop. She followed instructions and was really Communicative and polite. I will def book her again :)”

“My cat, Jack, had the best care while I was away for 8 days! I came home to a happy, relaxed, and clearly very loved kitty. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such great hands. Viridianne is incredibly attentive, caring, and reliable, and it’s obvious how much she truly loves animals. Jack absolutely adores her! I’ve used her multiple times and will continue to do so—I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

“Holly was amazing! It was our first time using Rover and Holly eased our worries! She kept us updated everytime she visited our pup! When we experienced a travel issue, Holly worked with us and checked on our pup an extra time! Definitely recommend booking with Holly!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years. My first dog, Baby, taught me what true love and loyalty mean. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, as well as farm animals like goats and even a pony! As a gentle and patient pet mom, I always treat every pet like part of my family. I’m very attentive to their needs, from feeding and walks to emotional comfort. I have experience with both playful puppies and calm senior dogs. My home is peaceful, full of love, and perfect for pets who need a safe, caring environment while their owners are away. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a calm and loving routine. I spend most of my day at home caring for my baby and our pets, so I have plenty of time to give your furry friend attention, playtime, and care. I enjoy spending time outdoors in the yard and making sure every pet feels loved and safe. I can easily adjust my schedule to your dog’s feeding, walking, or nap times I take safety and comfort very seriously. In my home, pets are always supervised, loved, and treated as part of the family. I make sure they have fresh water, shade, and space to play or rest peacefully. I introduce new pets slowly and calmly to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. I’m experienced with animals of different sizes and temperaments, so I know how to read their body language and keep them comfortable. My yard is safe and spacious, and I always stay nearby when pets go outside. Whether at my home or yours, I treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own.
About: I love cats and dogs, and have had cats most of my adult life. I believe animals are truly family members and should be treated with gentleness and respecting their nature. I have no problem following detailed instructions, and every visit I take pics to show you your fur baby is being well cared for! I am free most mornings before 8:30am and in the evenings after 6pm. On weekends I have more flexibility in my schedule. I’ll be happy to work with you on whatever your scheduling needs are! If a client discusses a list of instructions, I’ll do my best to follow them to the letter. Otherwise, I’ll follow what to me is ideal care for an animal: ensuring they have clean and fresh water, proper food, cleaning litter boxes or taking a dog out for a walk as needed, and spending a little time cuddling and playing (respecting how shy they might be!). If a pet is too shy to play, sometimes I’ll just spend a few minutes sitting on the floor and talking to them in a soothing voice so they can get used to my presence as someone who is friendly. If approved beforehand, I can even bring (or use your own) a few treats! I may also reach out to you if I see something that I think needs addressing (not enough food or litter, a pet seeming lethargic or coughing excessively etc.). If that happens, I’ll discuss with you how you want to handle it. In case of illness, I take my own cats to Wentworth Animal Hospital so, for example, if I saw your cat seemed to be vomiting excessively, if you approved it I would have no problem taking them in for a walk-in and working out the payment and a reasonable rate with you over the phone. The most important thing is to ensure that your fur baby is given the best care possible. :-)

“This was the longest I’ve ever left my cat, Jack, and I honestly could not have asked for a better sitter. Jack is extremely shy and nervous around new people, so I was very anxious about leaving him, but Nicholas was incredibly patient, kind, and understanding with him from the start. Within just a few days, Jack completely warmed up to him, which honestly says everything. I received beautiful daily pictures and videos, and it was so reassuring seeing how comfortable, happy, and loved Jack was while I was away. Because of that, I was truly able to relax and enjoy my vacation knowing he was in such great hands. I came home to a very happy cat, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention Jack received. I would absolutely recommend Nicholas to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet sitter.”

“Kimberly was wonderful with Izzy! She is my baby and she made sure all her needs were met during her visit. I’m in the middle of potty training so she made sure that she both pooped and peed during her visit along with getting in some much needed exercise. Definitely will use Kimberly again :-)”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
