“Sammy went above and beyond when taking care of our cats when we were gone for a couple weeks. She also was kind enough to bring any packages we had delivered inside for us. She did a great job at checking to make sure they had food in the automatic feeders, water, and making sure the litter boxes stayed clean! I will remember her next time we need a cat sitter!”

About: I have had dogs since for my entire life, so I have cared for all ages of dogs from puppies to seniors. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, spending time cuddling with senior dogs, and playing with puppies! I am currently a full time student at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. I have a few hours during the weekdays for potty breaks and feeding, and I am available on the weekends. I am willing to pet sit overnight in your home on weeknights, as well as weekends. My apartment is not pet-friendly, so I am not allowed to bring your pets to me, but I will drive to your home to care for your pets there. I will ensure to keep your pets safe, active, and content while you are away.

“Karla did absolutely amazing! My babies were very well taken care of and the communication was great. She was able to keep their routine for them even though I was gone for five days and they seem to really like her. She even did some light housekeeping when it came to the pets as well. I was extremely impressed. I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again. Thank you!!!!”

“Sierra is amazing. Our girls Gracie and Cocoa absolutely loved her when we were on vacation. She is very responsive and isn’t afraid to reach out if there is a scenario or question. She spends time with your dogs instead of just doing the job and leaving. Thank you again Sierra!”

“Renee was able to accommodate a last-minute drop-in. The dogs seemed very comfortable with her and got lots of snuggles and attention. We are looking forward to having her watch them for an extended time in a couple of months.”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. I have a patio for dogs to be outside if they want to as well as a separate office space that my dog sleeps in at night. I also have a crate available if need be.

About: I've personally owned animals my entire life. I've raised 3 dogs in the past and currently own qthat absolutely love other animals and people! I also have 3 cats that are all extremely friendly and love new things. I currently work at an animal shelter working with dogs, cats, small mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians. I have experience with friendly animals, reactive animals, and shy animals. I'm very skilled at giving medications as I have to do it daily for my job. My schedule is very flexible and I'm also good in medical cases with animals. I don't have a degree in veterinary sciences, but work with strange cases daily and have a close connection with vet techs. I'm excited to open my heart to new animals! I currently work part time in the mornings and can stop in before my shift to do a check in, potty breaks, and feeding. Once I'm off in the afternoon, I can do more check-ins and walks. In the afternoons, I can stick around longer to spend more time with them. I have experience with positive reinforcement and am also okay with using dog crates if the need is there. I'm experienced with different types of harnesses and collars as well and have worked with dogs with many different allergies.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember. In addition to my own fur family, I've watched several other's fur babies for the past 10 years. I work from home, so I'm home the majority of the time. That means your animals always get the attention they need, plus always another animal for companionship. I don't have a fenced yard, but I ALWAYS tether or take them out on a leash when at my home. I do like to give treats like kongs for added stimulation as well. I do have crates or have room for crates for sleeping or if they need alone time.

Robert S.Star Sitter
“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my beloved furry friend to Robert and I couldn't be happier with the exceptional care and service he provided. Robert is truly a dog lover! From the moment I reached out to Robert on Rover.com, his professionalism and prompt communication stood out. He was quick to respond to my inquiries, and we were able to schedule a meet-and-greet to ensure a good fit for my dog's needs and personality. I appreciated his attention to detail and the genuine interest he showed in getting to know my dog's habits, preferences, and any specific instructions. Robert provided a safe and comfortable environment for my furry companion, treating my dog as if they were their own. Regular updates, including photos and videos, were sent to me, allowing me to see that my dog was happy and content while in their care. This level of communication brought peace of mind, especially when I had to be away from my pup for an extended period. He made sure my dog received plenty of exercise. I would highly recommend them to any pet owner seeking a reliable and caring dog sitter and I will definitely be reaching out to Robert for any future dog-sitting needs!”

Kelsey F.
“Outstanding Pet Care! I highly recommend Kelsey as a pet sitter! She clearly loves animals and took amazing care of our kitten while we were away. Kelsey kept us updated with regular photos and videos, which was such a comfort and made it easy to relax knowing our girl was in great hands. I also appreciated that she brought her little ones (with my permission), who are just as gentle and loving with animals. Our kitten got so much attention and affection! Kelsey’s background working in a shelter and her medical experience with pets gave me extra peace of mind—she’s not just kind, she’s also capable and attentive. We will absolutely use her again!”
