About: I have been caring for pets since I was a teenager. I currently own a small farm and have experience caring for all types of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and sheep. I am happy to care for any size dog, and love spending time with old dogs or puppies. I have personally and professionally cared for cats and dogs for the past 25 years, and have always had a cat or dog in my house, of all age ranges. I’ve raised and cared for three dogs from puppyhood through adulthood: Nova, an American Cocker Spaniel, Ansel, a Rottweiler, and Coco, a Chocolate Lab. There is a room specifically designated in the house for the pet for the duration of the stay, which has toys, beds, food and water as well as a TV. it’s also a daybed for me as well so that I am able to stay in the room with your pet. My backyard is large and it’s open, however I will be keeping pers on-leash anytime they are outside.

Before accepting a new booking, we like to do a meet and greet. This helps make sure your pet feels comfortable with us and also gets along well with our two dogs. It’s important to us that everyone feels safe, calm, and at ease from the beginning. We know how it feels to leave your dog with someone else, because we would only trust people who care for them the same way we do. That’s exactly how we care for every pet that stays with us, like they are our own. We have two dogs at home, Oddie, our 5-year-old Cavapoo, and Toffy, our 15-year-old Bichon Frise and Maltese mix. Aliyah took such great care of Pebbles! She had great communication, was punctual, and even called me every day so I could talk to Pebbles on the phone. It was my first time being away from my fur baby since I adopted her so I was a bit worried about how she would react. Aliyah took such great care of her for me which relieved my anxiety and Pebbles’ anxiety too! I am so grateful.
Emoni was been amazing. My daughter was unexpectedly hospitalized for a week and we needed someone to care for her high energy 2 year old Belgian Malinois who was not happy to be left alone. She did a great job managing his exuberance, as he is a handful. (If it had been me, I would have quit!) Not only did she feed him and play with him in the yard, she even went so far as to move things in the house that he was getting into. She truly went above and beyond. It was a such a relief to have her there and not have to worry. I definitely recommend her and will use her again.
Caitlyn did a wonderful job! She came before my trip to need Ophelia and learn what needed to be done and how to care for her. She showed up each evening on time and sent pictures , brought in package for me and let me know if anything was out of the norm! I highly recommend and will have her in the future!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
