“Ashley and family once again made Rocco feel at home. He was spoiled with attention, and always looked happy in the regular pictures we received. Rocco tends to be anxious, but always seems comfortable in Ashley’s home.”

“Brenda took such great care of Kai while I was away and sent over updates throughout his stay while being very considerate. What made his stay above and beyond was that she gave a thorough walkthrough around her home and explained where Kai would be staying and making sure that I was very comfortable and satisfied with everything before I left Kai with her and her dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea and Tim took really good care of our dog(Piper) for a weekend. Andrea was very responsive and kept us updated with how well Piper was doing during her stay there. Their friendly dog(Lincoln) was a great playmate for Piper. We would definitely use them again!”

“Blythe was fantastic with Roxee! She asked questions about her behavior/preferences/ habits to give Roxee the best experience! She communicated well and made me feel comfortable she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Blythe!”

About: i love dogs and all animals. As a child we had a family dog and now I have one as an adult. I consider them part of the family. I currently have a very friendly 4 year old toy Goldendoodle named Benji. I work from home so my availability is very open and am also available on short notice. I will take very good care of your fur baby!!! I work Monday through Friday from home. I am available at your convenience to take care of your pet with minimal notice. I live in Caledonia. My dog Benji is very friendly with other dogs. I have a kennel if needed also. I usually let my dog out on a long lead. i have a partially fenced in yard. I will keep your pet safe. I will feed them also, if needed.
“April did a great job caring for my 2 chiweenies. She kept me updated with messages and pictures and was responsive to questions etc. I could tell that my dogs had a good time with her and I will definitely reach out again if I need a place for them to go in the future.”

“Laura is the best! She takes great care, follows our dog's needs and provides daily updates and pics. Her labrador Diesel is so sweet and gets along so well with our girl. All our dog's prior overnighters went extremely well! I highly recommend her care. TWeber”

“Rebecca and Dave did a wonderful job with my dog Suki and were very communicative from start to finish. They have a great environment for the pups and are good people. I know my lil girl had a great vacation while I was on mine!”

“Miranda was SUCH a godsend! As soon as I met her, I knew my pooch was in good hands. She was wonderful about communication and also sent me updates which really helped me not to worry. I would 1000% go with Miranda again to take care of my dog!”

“Mary was so nice and caring with my pup who was a bit anxious to go somewhere new. She was communicative and gave lots of updates during my dogs stay. Would definitely book again ☺️”

“Kristi took amazing care of Apollo, and I truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better! She kept me updated throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also love that she only cares for small dogs—it made me feel even more comfortable knowing Apollo was in a safe environment with pups his size. Apollo isn’t crate-trained, and Kristi was incredibly understanding about that. She let him hang out with her all day instead of crating him, which meant so much to me. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches and treats them like family. I will definitely be booking with Kristi again for daycare. Apollo had a wonderful time playing with the other fur babies, and I know he’ll be excited to go back. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and attentive sitter!”

“Alyssa is amazing. She LOVES pups and takes care of them like they were her own. She cuddles them, plays with them, walks them, and does whatever you ask her to do. She is a delight to deal with, so positive and loving. I received photos, videos and puppy updates periodically every day. I highly recommend Alyssa. You’d be lucky to have her caring for your pup!”

“I’m super grateful to Rachel and Matt. They were such kind, attentive sitters to Chloe. They have a large, enclosed back yard in a safe neighborhood and two sweet, well trained dogs to play with. They took her on walks AND runs! They sent me adorable videos and photos of Chloe during her stay. She usually doesn’t eat much when staying with sitters but she ate even more than usual - showing how comfortable and well exercised she was at their home. I think she misses her vacation home! I will definitely be requesting Rachel and Matt for doggy care in the future!”

“This is our second time booking with Kimberly and we will be back! She took great care of Willow and sent plenty of photos and videos during our time apart. Thank you Kimberly!!”

“Excelente experiencia. 🐶❤️ Muchas gracias por cuidar a mi perrito con tanto cariño y paciencia.Me transmitiste mucha confianza y tranquilidad, y me mantuviste informada en todo momento. Sin duda volvería a dejarlo contigo¡Te recomiendo totalmente!🥰🐾”

“This was my first time using Rover and I could not be happier! Dawn and her husband were wonderful sitters. My dog, Jax, was obviously comfortable within minutes of walking in the house. Through out his stay Dawn would send pictures so I could see for myself how ‘chilled’ Jax was. I highly recommend Dawn and would definitely leave Jax in her care again.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wind Point home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wind Point.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wind Point sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
