“Savannah was able to do Doggie Care with our two girls with short notice. They were happy & well cared for. Sweet pictures even though it was just for a few hours. I would recommend Savannah to care for your dogs anytime.”

About: Pets have been a part of my life since before I can remember! As a yellow lab and cat owner, I understand how deeply we care for our furry friends. I will do everything I can to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away! I work from home two days a week, and can devote ample amounts of time caring for pets throughout the day. I take my dog for daily walks and spend lots of time outside in our backyard. Pets need to feel safe in their environment. I’ll be there for pets, games, naps, walks, and whatever else might be needed to make your pet feel comfortable.
“My babies came home fully intact! No parts missing lol! Jessica was a great host for my children. She sent updates throughout the day along with photographs. From the moment I dropped them off I was confident I had chosen the right person for the task. She is a pleasant human with a big heart. Yep, my babies came home just as I dropped them off, happy and all parts intact! Thank you Jessica!”

“Kyler is an awesome dog caretaker, and is very accommodating and easy to work with, and extremely communicative throughout the entire interaction. She treated my pup like her own and kept her engaged and well taken care of for the length of her stay. I won't hesitate recommending her to others looking for a great resource for dog care, and will definitely be rescheduling for my own pup soon!”

“I was so nervous to trust someone with my new puppy. However, Kayte was so kind, understanding and patient with me. Our puppy really blossomed in her care and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was excited to go back each day and was exhausted from all the playing when she came home. Great experience!”

“We were planning to leave our pups in a large kennel outside because we were only taking a day trip. Last minute, I feel that it is going to be too cold for me to be comfortable leaving them outside. David agreed to take them last minute, easing my concerns. We felt our pups were well cared for during their time with David. He kept us updated on them settling in. He sent us a video of our pups outside, behaving as they would if they were home. All of David's interactions with us during their stay allowed us to enjoy time with our family without concern. We are also sitters so, the fact that I would highly recommend David should speak volumes.”

“Opal was so wonderful! You can really tell she loves animals. I felt very comfortable that my babies were safe and in good hands. They had a blast running around outside and playing with the other dog. She sent me regular updates with photos and videos throughout the day. I look forward to booking with Opal again!”

About: I adore dogs and would love to take care of your family members. I work from home so I’m able to be a consistent companion during the day, have a fenced yard for play, am active and love to take walks (if your pup likes). My old gal was with us for 17 years so I have elderly dog experience. I’m so excited to love on your dogs. I work from home, so during the week I am here most of the time apart from going to the gym or running errands. On weekends if your pet can’t be left alone for a couple of hours just check in with me at booking! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 14 when I got my first dog Charlie. Raised him from a 7 month in 2020 to a fully grown 6 year old standard poodle. I love him so much, and Potty trained Him the same year I got him in 2020. I used to own a female cat called Sophie. Had her from 2021 until 2026 she had left us due to some unfortunate circumstances. I got her as a kitten in 2021 she was only a few weeks old. Put much care into feeding her and potty training her later on in 2021. I’ve taken care of a multitude of dogs. From old senior dogs to puppies. I’ve taken care of a senior black Labrador, and a senior miniature poodle. I’ve also taken care of other breeds like pit bulls . I’m comfortable with any dog or cat and don’t mind them in my house. I’m currently home for college so I’ll have plenty of time for your pets. I wake up early so I feed my pets and take them out to use the bathroom at 8-9am. I usually take them out every 2-3 hours and I’ll keep them in my living room. I’ll try to take them out for a walk in the morning or evening to avoid the awful summer heat I have a fenced back yard, and a friendly poodle that would love to play with your pets if needed. If your pet likes to stay to themself I’ll leave my dog downstairs to allow your pet to feel comfortable at home.

I’ve also had plenty of experience with small breeds and understand their unique needs. I’m not just here to watch your pet I’m here to understand them. I’ve worked with puppies needing basic training, senior dogs who need a little extra care, and even pets who are a bit anxious or shy. My goal is always to make them feel safe, happy, and at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply being a calm companion, your furbaby will be treated like family because that’s exactly what they deserve. About: With over 16 years of experience in animal care, I bring a strong background in both small and large animals, including horses, livestock, and dogs. I’ve worked in veterinary clinics and dog boarding facilities, which gave me hands-on experience with animals of all temperaments and needs. While I value the structure of those settings, I believe in-home care is the most comfortable and stress-free option for most pets. I currently care for two dogs and two horses of my own, and I approach every client’s animal with the same level of respect, patience, and attentiveness I give my own. House Sitting Availability: I’m available for overnight care only, providing feeding, walks, and supervision during the night hours. Drop-In Visits Availability: I can provide up to two drop-in visits per day, including feeding, potty breaks, and basic care. In home boarding : I live in an apartment with a fenced deck, have two friendly dogs, and kids aged 3 and 8. I provide plenty of walks, playtime, and attention. I never board more than one family at a time, so your pup gets all the care and attention they need while you’re away. I prioritize safety and trust above all else when caring for pets in your home. Creating a calm, secure environment is essential to help your pets feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I treat your home and pets with the same respect and care I would expect for my own!

“Sam had a blast with Dana D. Drop off and pick up were so easy with clear communication throughout. She has a calm confidence that instilled trust right from the start. And she sent cute pics too! Our energetic pup was pleasantly exhausted after a playful day that included plenty of outdoor romping and stick fetching (his fave!). We were nervous to send our little Sammers for his first time with a sitter but couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.”

About: Growing up, I always had several dogs in my home, and have even adopted two of my own. Over the years I’ve gained a lot of experience working with hundreds of animals with a wide range of breeds and pets of all ages and sizes. I have experience taking care of dogs anywhere from feeding to walking to playing (etc) for any age range and any size. As mentioned in the title, I have experience working at Birmingham’s local Humane Society and in that time learned a lot about animal behavior. This will help me ensure an animal’s comfort level, safety and trust during my time caring for them. I believe the key to taking care of animals is showing them genuine love and patience. I love animals and do this work to make some money on the side, but also because it brings me so much joy! All pets are considered family, so it’s guaranteed to treat them as such. Your pet’s happiness and safety are top priority so I aim to create a fun and stress free environment for everyone. I’m currently working side hustle jobs that give me the benefit of working with a very flexible schedule.
