About: I'm certified in CPR emergency vet services and have watched dogs in my home for years. If you are working long hours and or regular hours and need someone to take care of your dog while you're at work, I'm the one. Sometimes when we leave our dogs alone at home while we work they can get into a lot of things. They can get bored. They can be destructive and they get very lonely. Most of the clients that I work with have a job work long hours and their dogs at times have torn their house, their furniture or whatever they can find completely up and then they have such a mess when they get home. We love our dogs. We love them more than anything and it's hard to come home like that. So if you're tired of it and need someone to help, I'm the one for you. I'm retired. I have two dogs that are so used to other dogs. They don't get out of my sight. Believe me. I have leashes harnesses beds. Anything they need? Lots of toys and lots of activity. I don't have a fenced-in yard but that's why I take small dogs and I can walk them two to three times a day. Whatever you would like to have done. They are allowed on my furniture and in bed with me if they happen to spend the night. They have full run of the household just like mine does. My two dogs are small and they love other dogs after their first initial visit. My dogs are used to other dogs in my house that are not mine and we all get along. Meet and greets are essential. I love animals of all kinds, but I find that dogs are my ones that I can handle the best. It gives the owner peace of mind knowing that their dog is with someone that will take good care of them. So if you need somebody like me just me know. We'll see what we can work out. Randomly I will be able to watch them overnight. If something happens you have to work late or the weather gets bad and you can't make it to my home. That's not a problem. I've got a big bed and lots of blankets and lots of pillows and lots of dog beds if that's where they like to sleep. 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on shots and flea and tick medicine. All dogs will be checked when they come to my house to make sure that there's no fleas. If they do have fleas then I will bathe them And let you know that they need flea and tick medicine before they return. I have plenty of references if you request. I’m retired and am home all day. I’m prepared ahead of time for hosting dogs. The reason I have a one-day notice is so I can prepare my house with anything I may need so that there is no leaving the dogs by theirself. All pets free roam my home. They get to sleep wherever they are used to. They are fed according to the pet parents instructions. All pets get two to three walks a day .Lots of potty breaks, water provided outside and of course inside. They get lots of hugs and treats if aloud by pet parents.

About: My appreciation and respect for animals started when 1 day my extended family came home with the cutest Pomeranians who then had puppies and then those puppies had pups! They became family and we would babysit each other's fur baby. I loved having a dog because I love being outdoors, running, and exploring. I'm looking forward to making new memories and exploring more beaten paths with your fur baby :) I appreciate all animals, that being said, I've enjoyed the company of some adorable cats. My approach is to give them space and let them come to me when they please. My baby boy, Simba is 7 years old, he is baby friendly, and protective of my girls around strangers, he adores my daughters! He sleeps next to them every night and during the day he follows them around and enjoys watching them play. I love how each animal has a unique personality and you can be sure that I will be attentive to those traits so ensure the best possible care and love for them. In each client's home I am respectful of belongings and careful to keep everything as clean as possible when serving pet's food and water. I'm comfortable changing litter boxes, picking up after dog's stools and discarding appropriately. I am comfortable administering pet's medications as well. I'm more than happy to give your pet an appropriate amount of affection and love because I'm sure they are anxious to see their parents soon. About: I LOVE DOGS!! What more can I say? I have had dogs in my family, of my own and taken care of family dogs practically since I was born. I've been around dogs of all shapes and sizes and love all of them, no matter what! I have had experience with special diets, dog walking and even diabetic dogs (using diabetic test strips and glucometer). Sometimes I like to think of myself as a dog whisperer: I can get along with all dogs and read what they need or want. I'm also great at helping dogs to heal or get over their fears! About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life I currently have 5 dogs and 3 cats of my own. I have worked with show dogs and had a grand show champion myself. I spend most of my day with my animals I just moved here so I don’t go very many places. I am willing to bathe and cut a dogs nails as long as they aren’t violently aggressive. I do work full time at a dog care facility it consists of 4 days and it’s 10 hour shifts please consider this before trying to book with me. I live with my fiancé so I will be able to be in and out or stay overnight if necessary with little hassle. I am always on time and allow plenty of notice if I can not make it at the time we agreed. My yard is completely fenced, I can kennel or crate a dog, I have no problem working with dogs that are not crate trained but it is preferred. My dogs and cats are allowed on my furniture however I do have baby gates up in front of each room to allow the cats to have a space away from the dogs. Following whatever rules someone else has for their home is no issue for me.

About: I've cared for not only my own pets but I've been pet sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was about 12yrs old. I currently care for my own dogs, fish, and several reptiles. I know what I'm doing and if you choose to book with me, rest assured your pets are in great, caring and knowledgeable hands. I currently work full time as a dog trainer, and part time as a pet caretaker for a few friends. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and would be happy to do drop ins or take your fur babies out for a walk when needed. My days where I have full availability are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I ask plenty of questions about the animals ahead of time, if any meds need administered, any routines to stick to, ect. I don't ever wanna put stress on a pet or throw off any routines. I've worked with just about every dog breed imaginable, and am always up for a challenge.

About: Hello, I’m Kirsten. I have been actively dog sitting for the last 5 years in and around Washington county and Frederick county. As well as the surrounding areas. (Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) As of September 2026 we do have a newborn. I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. I got my first dog at 5 years old and it was my job to take care of him everyday, give him baths,etc. I started watching other peoples animals when I was 14. I have done stop by walks/potty breaks since the very beginning and overnight stays since I was 18. I have experience with insulin shots, and other forms of medications. Pets are family members too, and they should be well taken care of! While you are away they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. I work mainly off my laptop unless I have showings set up, so your best friend will get all the cuddles, and love they can possibly get! While I personally do not offer in house boarding- I do have people I can refer you to who are absolutely wonderful, and who my parents trust their fur babies with! . Ask me for their info! I work full time as a real estate agent, so most of my time in doing work from my laptop! There are occasional showings and meetings that I will attend, but they are not long- few hours at the max. Because of my flexible schedule I can make your fur babies feel loved and comfortable while you are gone! I do not currently accept home services in my own home. We have a cat who does not do well with other animals as she gets scared very easily. So, at this time, no home boarding will be offered. This will be updated if anything changes.

I have experience working at a horse stable for several years and farm-sitting, so I'm used to being very hands-on and involved when caring for animals. I can take crate trained dogs anytime during the week but could only provide potty breaks every 6-8 hours. I am available for dog walks or drop-in visits any day in the afternoon or evening in the Chambersburg, Gettysburg, and Hagerstown areas. Your pet would live only with me in a private guest house. We have 300 acres to go for walks or chase balls! My husband and 9 cats live in the main house. Our cats don’t mind other animals but I can keep your pet away from the cats if you prefer. As a 15 year high school teacher, I am very trustworthy, authentic, and kind. I admit to being a bit of a “crazy animal person” as I try to pet every animal I see! I can be trusted with your animal for an extended time or just an afternoon walk! I can also board hamsters or horses.
