“My Lola was put down a few days after her stay with Jeannie and Robert. I cannot express how thankful I am at the love and care they had always given her even through her last few moments. They live about 45 minutes away from me but because of the attentiveness, I would drive 2 hours if I had to! I didn’t have a car for the last time they watched Lola and they drove all the way down to pick her up and drop her off. Even with the loss of my little one, they remain family to me and us always. About: I am currently doing Rover part-time, I’m also working 2 other part-time jobs, however, for one of them I get to choose my own schedule. If given enough notice (usually a week) I can take off the days you’d need from one of my jobs, and then just schedule my other around it! I’ve had and taken care of dogs/cats since a young age. I love all animals and caring for them! Ive taken 2 pre-vet classes and would love to have a job working with animals full-time, no matter the job! As of now, I am caring for my 2 cats and leopard gecko! I only work Thurs-Sun, never more than 8 hours + my other job I can pick my own schedule! I am free all other weekdays to be able to take care of your pets! I am no longer able to do house sitting because I now have a baby to take care of, but if they are good with kids and cats, your pet is more than welcome to come stay with us! I prefer having the option to crate in case I need to go out for a bit, but I have taken care of pets who didn’t need one! Your pets are treated as my own when they are here, we take long walks around my apartment complex, I have treats for both cats and dogs, and many toys! Let me know if your pet has any allergies or dietary restrictions so they can be as healthy and happy as possible
“We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”

“Corrinna was watching our four babies for the first time and she went above and beyond what we expected to keep them safe and happy! We have four cats and three of them prefer to be outside as they came to us as strays. Since it was so cold the week we were away she tried her best to keep them in, even going out another door to close the door that has a cat door in it.. lol I thought that was a great idea. She worried and took care of them like her own including lots of pics to ease our mind. We will definitely be asking Corrinna again to watch the kids!”

About: I’ve had and loved animals my whole life and have experience watching all sorts of animals in all shapes age and size. My hope is for both pets and parents to be so comfortable with me that being separated is stressfree ! I currently work roughly 9am -3:30 pm M-F. I am available to feed or let whoever out during lunch as well! Weekends I’m free all day !! I’m unable to bring animals into my home but am happy to visit and hangout with them in their homes!! About: I have had animals throughout my whole life. The animal I’ve had with me the longest is my 16 year old chihuahua. I’ve had him since I was 5 years old. I grew up with him and I take really good care of him. He’s very healthy and also very spoiled. As of right now I’m only doing the dog walking service and the dog and cat drop ins. I am available anytime as of right now. I will give them lots of attention and love. If they have certain times they eat at I will feed them at those times. Whenever they need to go potty I will let them out if there is a fenced yard or I will walk them if there is not a fenced yard.
About: I have taken care of kittens and cats my whole life, I have always had at least one around at all times. I have litter trained cats and potty trained them for outside also. I have experience in assisting in birthing kittens and bottle feeding new borns. I am only able to administer oral medication. I have only ever adopted/and or taken in cats! About: Our home is a relaxed environment with plenty of room to wonder around and get sun light. We take 3 walks a day and run into plenty of other animals around the neighborhood and at the park. I and my wife work from home so there is always someone around! We take our dog for multiple walks a day & enjoy the playground so she can hang out with other dogs! Working from home makes things a breeze when taking care of pets! There are no issues with play time or even personal time. We adapt easily! “We took Finn over to Arlene’s for the first time yesterday to spend the day (after our meet and greet a couple of weeks prior). We picked him up from Arlene and she told me that I t took a little time (an hour) to get him to settle down, but after that he had a full day of play with the other 2 dogs that were there. About: My family and I absolutely love dogs we lost ours recently and I am not ready to get another one but would love to care for yours like he/she was our own. We have a good-sized cat tree and a two hammocks in the window at a safe height. The climbing places are not too high and are easily accessible. The plants we have at home are not toxic, however, they are out of reach. Our windows have exterior screens, but we don't usually open them all at the same time.

About: I've had pets (cats, dogs and bunnies) for as long as I can remember. (40 + years) I have taken care of peoples animals many times throughout my life. I'm known for being an animal lover and have been told that I have a way with them. Even when other people's pets have been afraid of other people their pets have felt comfortable with me. Our little toy poodle that we've had for 12 years just passed away and we slept with her, held her as we were doing school/ work and took her everywhere with us. About: I'm certified in CPR emergency vet services and have watched dogs in my home for years. If you are working long hours and or regular hours and need someone to take care of your dog while you're at work, I'm the one. Sometimes when we leave our dogs alone at home while we work they can get into a lot of things. They can get bored. They can be destructive and they get very lonely. Most of the clients that I work with have a job work long hours and their dogs at times have torn their house, their furniture or whatever they can find completely up and then they have such a mess when they get home. We love our dogs. We love them more than anything and it's hard to come home like that. So if you're tired of it and need someone to help, I'm the one for you. I'm retired. I have two dogs that are so used to other dogs. They don't get out of my sight. Believe me. I have leashes harnesses beds. Anything they need? Lots of toys and lots of activity. I don't have a fenced-in yard but that's why I take small dogs and I can walk them two to three times a day. Whatever you would like to have done. They are allowed on my furniture and in bed with me if they happen to spend the night. They have full run of the household just like mine does. My two dogs are small and they love other dogs after their first initial visit. My dogs are used to other dogs in my house that are not mine and we all get along. Meet and greets are essential. I love animals of all kinds, but I find that dogs are my ones that I can handle the best. It gives the owner peace of mind knowing that their dog is with someone that will take good care of them. So if you need somebody like me just me know. We'll see what we can work out. Randomly I will be able to watch them overnight. If something happens you have to work late or the weather gets bad and you can't make it to my home. That's not a problem. I've got a big bed and lots of blankets and lots of pillows and lots of dog beds if that's where they like to sleep. 🐾 All dogs must be up to date on shots and flea and tick medicine. All dogs will be checked when they come to my house to make sure that there's no fleas. If they do have fleas then I will bathe them And let you know that they need flea and tick medicine before they return. I have plenty of references if you request. I’m retired and am home all day. I’m prepared ahead of time for hosting dogs. The reason I have a one-day notice is so I can prepare my house with anything I may need so that there is no leaving the dogs by theirself. All pets free roam my home. They get to sleep wherever they are used to. They are fed according to the pet parents instructions. All pets get two to three walks a day .Lots of potty breaks, water provided outside and of course inside. They get lots of hugs and treats if aloud by pet parents.

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs since I was little, i’ve had many different breeds & know everything there is to come with from a dog as i’m such a big dog lover! & im also capable of taking care of cats i love any animals, I took care of my neighbors cat while they were gone for a week long vacation and it was the greatest time! It fits my routine as i’m a part time worker who wants something to do on my free time & being around dogs would be the best to share my free time with. I have my own dog so what i do to care for her is feed her 2 meals a day (with treats throughout the day!) i like to take my dog lydia on walks as she loves the outdoors and seeing people in the neighborhood.
About: Hi there friends! My name is Destiny :) I have about 15yrs of pet experience, I’ve been obsessed with animals since I was child and I don’t see that changing anytime soon! From experience I understand the importance of being punctual and nurturing with our four legged family. I have recently lost my own little dachshund Trixie who lived to 16, she did have a strict feeding/medicine schedule towards her later years. I have experience with dog sitting all sorts of pups from gentle giants to tiny teacups. My natural passion has been to nurture and care the sweet animals we get to enjoy this life with, and I am so excited to meet yours! I’ve had my dogs since they were puppies up until seniors, so high energy or low energy are both great! Early morning walks and medicinal care aren’t a problem as well!
About: I have had animals throughout my whole life. The animal I’ve had with me the longest is my 16 year old chihuahua. I’ve had him since I was 5 years old. I grew up with him and I take really good care of him. He’s very healthy and also very spoiled. As of right now I’m only doing the dog walking service and the dog and cat drop ins. I am available anytime as of right now. I will give them lots of attention and love. If they have certain times they eat at I will feed them at those times. Whenever they need to go potty I will let them out if there is a fenced yard or I will walk them if there is not a fenced yard.

About: I grew up in a dog-loving home—there was never a time we didn’t have a furry friend in the family. Since my very first pet, I’ve enjoyed caring for animals. “We recently moved to NOVA from Midlothian and had to find a new Rover Ally to watch our 2 sweet Goldens- We used someone who lived in the same town and it did not go well at all so we were very nervous about leaving them again with anyone else. I can hands down say this was one of our best Rover experiences ever!! Joel and Janelle have a beautiful place with a large grassy fenced yard! They sent periodic incredible “action” pictures and our Goldens did not seemed stressed at all when we picked them up. We are looking forward to our stay with them early next month.”
