About: I have spent my whole life caring for animals: dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, rabbits, etc. And, I have experience with a variety of ages from geriatric cats to kittens, puppies, and even baby squirrels 🐶 I spend most of my time at home caring for my 3 year old daughter and 2 fur-babies: Tom and Oliver. Tom is an 8 year old miniature schnauzer and Oliver is a 6 year old yorkie-poo. Both love dogs 🐩 Our home has a fenced in backyard with a doggy door for pups to use as they please. They will be supervised at all times and treated like family 🦮

About: I've had dogs my whole life. I am very familiar with senior dogs with special needs, and finicky dogs. I've always taken the best possible care of our dogs. I've gone thru TPLO surgeries, heart disease, tumors, injections, seizures. Whatever medication was needed, they got. No detail will ever be overlooked. Dogs are the most precious creatures on this planet and deserve nothing but love. I have volunteered at shelters and walked dogs there; I have owned my own boarding business. Why would I pick myself over someone else? My attention to detail and genuine concern for your dog(s). You know how the biggest fear is the dog getting loose - that's my biggest fear too. It's not happening on my watch. Whenever I close or lock a door or gate, I triple-check that it is shut/locked. And I triple check your dog has everything it needs before I leave. I love lists so if you don't make me one I will make my own! I work weekdays from 10:00 to approximately 3:00, I can do drop-ins / walks before or after that. If you're not far from my job (near Truman & DeRenne) I can do a lunchtime visit. You will let me know how long you want the visit(s) to be. If I'm doing a walk in the summer, I will try hard to stick to shaded areas, I will have water with me for your dog, and I will make sure their feet are not on hot pavement (or they can wear booties if you have them). If they start to slow down we will take a break. At your home I will take your dog outside to go potty, try to encourage them to stay out there a little while and enjoy the freedom and fresh air. Hard to play outside when it's so hot, but maybe we can play with a water hose. (Any ideas I have will be discussed with you first.) If it's raining, I like to put raincoats on them, but if you don't like that I will dry them before they come back inside. I will always treat your home with the same respect that I have for your dog(s).

“Amy is always amazing when it comes to taking care of our furry family members! She took great care of our cat while we were out of town for a week and a half, she gives us the peace of mind to enjoy our travels knowing our animals are in the best hands and provides great pics and updates of her visits. Can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I have significant experience with reactive rescue dogs of all sizes and a lifelong passion for caring for senior dogs. I'm skilled in administering medications and accommodating special needs. My extreme empathy for animals drives me to provide the best care possible, making this job as fulfilling for me as it is for them! As a dog and cat owner myself, my schedule is already accommodated for pet care. Adding additional pets into my routine would not hinder it at all! I work 5 days a week ( the days vary). My shifts start at 4pm in downtown Savannah. All of my mornings before 4pm are available for walking or sitting. When caring for a client’s pet in their home, I treat their animal as if they were my own. I know how much trust it takes to let someone into your space and care for your beloved pet, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. I make sure their routine is followed exactly—meals, walks, playtime, cuddles—everything that makes them feel safe, happy, and loved. I also pay close attention to any special needs, medications, or behavioral quirks. Every pet has their own personality, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one. I send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away, knowing your pet is not only being cared for, but truly cared about. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities, and my goal is to make your time apart as stress-free as possible—for both you and them Let me know if you want to tailor this for specific animals (dogs, cats, senior pets, etc.)!
