About: I am a Licensed Veterinary Technician, a licensed positive reinforcement Canine Obedience Instructor, and am Pet CPR and First Aid certified! I have cared for pets for most of my life, with all stages of lives and medical needs. I have experience with caring for young through senior age, diabetics, surgical recovery pets, pets with behavioral needs, and everyday average happy kiddos! I can make nearly any pet care situation work. I have flexible hours, rates, and am always open for discussion! I have experience with large animal, small mammal, aquatics, birds, and dogs/cats. I have made pet care my entire life. I continue to strive to be the best I can be for my own pets, and am happy to extend that love out to other peoples' pets as well. I have an open schedule so that I can be available when people need. I am currently in the process of fencing my yard. At this time, we take on-leash walks in the neighborhood. The yard is monitored and we have a security system that alerts us to movement outside, so that we don't have accidental run-ins with moose. Pets are not left outside unattended. Kitties are restricted to indoor only, and can have their own private room if needed. My personal pets are crate trained, so that if I have a non-social pet in the home, I am able to give them the space they need. If I am in a client's home, I do not bring visitors, I do not bring my own pets, and I make accommodations for each situations specific needs. All pets are cared for to the standard that I would expect my own to be cared for. I am dependable, honest, and will always do my best to do exactly what is asked of me.
About: With aspirations of becoming a Veterinarian I have combined 6 years experience in the Veterinary field, and 7 years working with animals. I own 6 dogs all of varies breeds, along with the occasional foster pup or two. While in my care your fur baby will have ample amount of structure play, to ensure 100% safety I keep play groups small with some one on one time play. I have a wide variety of experience with reactive dogs as well, if your dog does not do well with others open communication is all I ask and I will ensure your loved one is fulfilled during their stay. I work from home allowing my schedule to be pretty flexible, I am happy to offer pick up and drop off services if needed or work around your schedule I have a fully fenced in yard with access to trails and parks, where I enjoy spending as much time outdoors allowing all the pets in home to feel enriched

About: Grew up around horses ..cats.. dogs And look forward to hosting you’re pet why your out vak’ing or traveling .. let me know when need and I’ll do my best to accommodate you I’m home 24/7 every other week and work one week straight still home very morning and every evening … plenary of toys and fun thing to do at home too I do not have a fence but I take my pups on a run or dog park everyday lots of walks and play time.. but if you would prefer just leashed walks we can do that

I have received accreditation as a Catch Certified Dog Trainer (CCDT) and as a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP) I take a Fear Free approach to handling and care for pets - providing lots of choice, and enrichment to provide not only physical stimulation but also mental engagement for animals to provide an appropriate environment to allow animals to engage in normal, natural behaviors. I am comfortable providing medication to pets should that be pills, fluids, or injections. For owners with established behaviors with their pets, I am happy to work with them while pet sitting them upon request - and will provide you "report cards" of their progress. I am currently working part time, and do not travel outside of Alaska often. My focus is one the pets in my home, and the pets of my client. There will be no more than 3 to 4 hours crated, however I focus more on the pet and client in front of me and their needs - and have the flexibility to adjust my lifestyle to fit the needs of my clients. I have a fenced acre, with six foot fencing - no animals are left unattended in the yard at any time. I have security cameras long our fencing, and around our house to ensure I have the ability to monitor any incoming people. The neighbors homes are not close to us, and my driveway is a longer driveway covered with foliage so the animals are not visible from the roadway.

“Julia has been my dog walker for six months. She was a god send when I moved to Jacksonville and got a full time job that sometimes has an unpredictable schedule. I was extremely worried about letting a stranger into my home, and trusting that everything I owned would be safe. She has had a key to my apartment from the beginning and she treats my home and space with respect. My 2 year old black lab was previously severely abused, and because of this my black lab has a special kind of temperament. She can be very nervous and sometimes dominate or protective. Julia is very good at taking care of her needs and dealing with a sometimes difficult dog. My pup wears a fitness tracker and Julia ALWAYS walks her for 20-30 minuets, which for my pup is the perfect amount of time. Julia always texts me updates on how my dog is doing that day, and how my dogs specific health is. She pays close attention to small details and anything that should be alarming or at the very least monitored. Julia has great communication skills and keeps me up to date on details that I sometimes miss because of my crazy work schedule. Julia always does last minuet favors for me when I get stuck at work and can't make it home to take care of my pup. It is such a piece of mind knowing that she is always reliable when I am in a pinch. She has done so many favors for me and loves my pup as if it was her own.
