I used to shadow a family friend who had a pet sitting business and I loved tagging along! I work full time as a teacher, but I get off at 2:35 so my weekdays have free afternoons and evenings. Any daycare stay that exceeds 10 hours will automatically be upgraded to my Boarding Rate for that day. * Puppy Care Fee: Because puppies require extra attention, frequent potty breaks, and constant supervision, a +$15 puppy fee applies per day/visit for any dog under 1 year old. This fee applies to all Daycare, Boarding, and Dog Walking requests. Note: Rover automatically calculates the puppy rate for some services, but if it doesn't apply correctly to your request, I will manually modify the total to reflect these policies before finalizing the booking. Thank you for understanding! “Continuing my professional development” sounds more natural and polished than “pursuing additional courses.” I’m currently taking a professional break while continuing my professional development, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your pet with attentive, loving care. I’m home much of the day and can easily accommodate feeding, playtime, medication, cuddles, and your pet’s normal routine. Safety and comfort are always my priorities. I have one friendly Labrador who gets along well with other dogs and can be crated or kept separately if needed. My neighborhood is great for safe, leashed walks, and I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions regarding feeding, medication, exercise, and routines.

About: Hi. I'm Katherine. I have had dogs all of life. I've rescued shelties through NVSR and have taken in many 'street' cats. My last sheltie passed away this spring and while I'm still mourning her too much for a new dog I do desire to shower your pets with affection and make them feel special when you cannot. I'm willing to throw the ball until they are whipped. I'm willing to walk them until they are all tuckered out. My theory has always been that a good dog is a tired dog and a tired dog is a good dog. I've had that 'can't be with them as much as I want' guilt. You can feel confident that they will have the same you you would give them with me. I am currently working part time from home so I have all sorts of time to take good care of your babies when you can't. I will walk and play with your babies in parks, on walks and at the beach.
