About: Hi. I'm Katherine. I have had dogs all of life. I've rescued shelties through NVSR and have taken in many 'street' cats. My last sheltie passed away this spring and while I'm still mourning her too much for a new dog I do desire to shower your pets with affection and make them feel special when you cannot. I'm willing to throw the ball until they are whipped. I'm willing to walk them until they are all tuckered out. My theory has always been that a good dog is a tired dog and a tired dog is a good dog. I've had that 'can't be with them as much as I want' guilt. You can feel confident that they will have the same you you would give them with me. About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. I usually do pack walks of 3-5 dogs depending on size, but I can do singles if needed. I'm also able to cat-sit/dog-sit and care for exotics and birds (no insects). I'm flexible because I have my own cleaning/organizing/declutter business. I wake up however early dog might need be let out or pet given meds, and give at least 3 long 30min-hour walks depending on the energy level and few let outs throught the day if needed for young pups or older if bladder is sensitive. Plenty of loves and can work on training or stimulated play time with toys and puzzles. I will be professional and not have any guests over ever, and always keep doors locked when not there and if plants need care I can help with watering. I have 4 animals myself so it's pretty automatic to just add another pet cuz I've cared for multiple animals at a time or drop in visits when needed throughout my day. Whatever the fmaily requests for schedule when to feed, medicate(if needed), amount of walks and play time needed to make sure they're healthy and stimulated. Whenever they're ready for bed, crate if needed requested by parents, and make sure they go outside(dogs) to ensure no accidents throughout the night. I give them just as much love and attention and play as my own. And feed round same schedule unless instructed otherwise. Giving exercise and play time when needed. And kept to routine of crating if owners instruct.
