We have enough flexibility through out the day to take care of your pup’s needs, meals, and daily walks etc. We look forward to having your pet with us, please let us know your pet’s daily routine, any special needs and behaviors (anxiety, belly rubs etc.) that we should be aware of so we can make your pet most comfortable while you are away. We can accept drop ins starting 8 am and pick ups no later than 10 pm. We live in a townhome with paved walkways and a dog park. Pets have full access to our home. No restrictions on furniture or beds.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have helped train my family dog. Family and friends have relied on me to help walk, feed, and play with their pets ever since I was little. I’m currently a senior at William and Mary. I am available all day Friday through Sunday and any time past 2:00 pm Monday through Thursday. I am very flexible with my timing and have lots of time to spend with pets! I will be living in dorms that do not allow pets. For that reason I can not do over night pet sitting at my residence. About: I grew up in the home of biologist who kept all sorts of pets. I have experienced caring for a variety of animals, however have the most familiarity with care for canines. I spent a few years fostering dogs with different issues such as separation anxiety and aggression. I raised and trained a Belgian Malinois from 16 weeks to 1 year, giving me experience with intelligent and high energy dogs. I woke full-time from home and therefore am available to be with the pets all day. I am currently a full-time stay at home mom who works remotely about 10 hours a week. MY schedule is open and flexible to accommodate pets. I currently have a 2 year old son who enjoys animals. I am mindful of safety practice for children and pets to keep both safe. I do not have a fenced in yard and will use a leash to leave the house at all times. Depending on your pet's behavior I can crate them and keep them separated in another part of the house.

I’ve always had dogs in my life and they bring so much joy to me… I currently do not have dogs of my own (my most recent pups a chocolate lab & golden retriever both passed away from cancer in 2024) so having the opportunity to love on your pups will make me very happy and hopefully fill your pups hearts with joy as well. About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.
