About: I grew up with dogs. When I was 18 I co-adopted two pitbulls who lived out their lives with me. After college, I volunteered for Monster Milers taking shelter dogs from Street Tails Animal Rescue out for runs to help them burn energy and become more adoptable. My wife and I have adopted three times. A fawn pug who lived until 9 years old, a black pug who lived until 17 years old, and a Alaskan Malamute/Husky/Amstaff mix (107lbs) that lived until he was 13 and we recently lost. I'm good with all furry friends big and small and adjust my approach based on the dogs energy. I currently have a ton of flexibility outside of my kids to help with your pups, but generally, I'm home a lot and very active so lots of room to get your pup out for long walks and exercise/stimulation. I do not have a fenced in yard, and always keep my dogs on leashes until they were absolutely ready to listen solely to my commands. I use a gentle leader that helps minimize impact on their throat and also is very effective with pulling, but can be flexible to your sitch.

About: I grew up surrounded by farms and stray cats having babies on my porch that we would often take in. Most of the time my childhood home was full of 2 border collie dogs and 4-6 adopted cats. I have had my own cat for 3 years who I rescued (he has one eye and is the Cutest boy) and all my siblings have dogs and cats that I’m constantly loving like human nieces and nephews. Friends and neighbors have always regarded me as an animal lover and someone who is good with animals. I seem to attract them wherever I go! I am a professor so my schedule is flexible. All week days and weekends work for me. During the weekdays I am most available in the mornings and evenings. I am very respectful of everyone’s homes and their rules. I am good with details and feel comfortable following directions and wishes of any client.

I have cared for many of my friends’ dogs over the years, different breads, temperaments and sizes. During the stay, your dog(s) will be treated as we would treat our own. There are no constraints or boundaries in our home. Your dog(s) will have the freedom to join on the couches, unless your dog(s) would prefer otherwise. I am very flexible about pick up and drop off times. I understand some dogs have special needs, and you have my assurance that I will do our best to accommodate any extra requirements. About: I am incredibly observant and mindful of pets ways of communicating. There are times they tell us something but can be easily missed if not watching for it. I have grown that skill over the years making me a great match with animals of all personalities. I don’t work Friday-Sunday so those days are relatively free! About: I take extreme measures to ensure your pet is properly harnessed and not put into a scenario where they would feel in harms way. I listen well to what the owner says works and does not and follows those rules closely. I enjoy seeing a dog happy and healthy on long walks outside. I currently work full-time, and see weekend pet sitting as the most ideal scenario. However, I am available on evenings around 7 pm for feeding should that be needed. I currently have two indoor cats that are allowed access to an outdoor balcony with harnesses and leashes. I am comfortable going on walks with leashed dogs and any variation of letting the dog out back based on their owner’s wishes.

I received multiple updates and pictures every day, which gave me so much peace of mind. They even took Sokka on long walks to Valley Forge Park and car rides, which he loved. Brandi and Mike are incredibly kind, thoughtful, and trustworthy—I felt completely comfortable having Sokka in their care. I will definitely be asking them to sit for Sokka again in the future. “Thalita was absolutely fabulous starting from the meet and greet all the way through to when I picked my girl up. Throughout my Chanel's stay, she kept me updated with pics and giving status reports about her day. When my 2 year old son asked about our Chanel while we were traveling, he was quite content with the photos that Thalita provided, but she even offered to video chat if that did not completely satisfy him. I was pleasantly surprised that when I arrived to pick up my Coco Chanel she didn't want to leave. We will DEFINITELY be using Thalita, and I cannot thank her enough for taking such great care of my girl!”
