“My experience with Kristen and Spencer was great! I never actually met Spencer but did see him in photos that were sent to me during my time away. Kristen is very warm and engaging, has a very easy personality. We felt completely comfortable right from our first meet & greet. Karleigh is an older dog and Kristen was great at understanding her particular needs. When I left her with the family I walked away confident that we were a good fit and I was not disappointed! Kristen sent photos frequently with little tidbits about how she was doing away from home which was very helpful for my reassurance. All in all I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Awesome sitter, Ollie always comes back happy and healthy! They’re great at taking pictures and ensuring you’re not nervous about your dogs while they’re away.”

“Jason and his family were great with Lucy. I knew she was in good hands when I went out of the country for a week. He gave me updates, took her on walks and played with her. Lucy had a great time and I will definitely use Jason’s services the next trip we take. Thanks Jason!”

“Casey is an amazing pet sitter. Our dog is always so happy and well behaved when we get him back. You can tell he feels loved while at Casey’s house. He even came back groomed with clean teeth! This was not something we expected. I would recommend Casey and her family to anyone who needs pet sitting.”

“Aubrielle took such good care of my dogs and they loved her. It was so nice to be on vacation and feel like someone was with my dogs who loved them and genuinely cared about them so I didn’t have to worry.”

“We were so happy with Ruby’s care while we were gone for a prolonged period. They kept us up to date with pictures and their dog thankfully loved to play with Ruby and kept her busy and worn out. They shared toys, walked her, and let her snooze close by which really are Ruby’s favorite things. We would unquestionably choose Ashley and Michael again for Ruby’s care.”

“Aneice is an amazing sitter that was so kind and patient with our high energy dog. She kept us informed with updates and pictures every day of her stay. Thank you Aneice!”

“Debbie is the best! Our dog was so excited to go back to her house and I love that she always comes home clean and happy. Couldn’t ask for a better home for her while we’re away.”

“Julie was so great and patient with our buddy who wasn’t feeling his best and acted out at times when she had him. So greatful for her experience, patience, and time spent with our doggie.”

“Mitchell is an amazing dog sitter. He exceeded our expectations! We appreciate he only tends one dog at a time. We also like his safe, fully fenced back yard. Mitchell sent us daily photos and updates on our fur baby. Our dog takes medications and Mitchell had no issues in giving the meds to our dog. We had a human medical emergency while we were gone. Mitchell was very accommodating with our pick up time We will definitely will use Mitchell again!! If you are needing a dog sitter, we recommend Mitchell 100%”

“Clara was a fantastic puppy sitter. We were a little nervous as this was the first time we have left our dog with anyone but family but Clara was awesome. Ruby loved that she had other dogs to play with and they did some fun things with her throughout her stay. I especially loved that she came home freshly bathed smelling yummy and her fur was so smooth. Clara was great to send us updates and pics throughout our trip which we all loved!”

“Sara and her family were so great with our dog. She got lots of attention and she was a happy dog when we picked her up. Sara sent pictures and let us know how things were going. I would highly recommend her!”

“Brittany has taken care of my dachshunds previously and I really thought she did a great job so we will always use her. She is Aunt Brittany to our dogs. She loves our dogs so much and always keeps us informed as to how they’re doing and takes pictures to send you. She is a very sweet and loving lady! Do not hesitate to book her to care for your fur babies!🩷”

“Oh my goodness I couldn’t leave a happier review! Nemesis was absolutely amazing with our puppy Dune!! We received lots of updates throughout the stay along with pictures and videos. Her dogs also loved to play with Dune which he enjoyed! She took him on adventures and gave him lots of love, we would definitely use her again in the future!!”

“This is the second time we've left my pup with Lauren. Her dogs are super friendly and love to play, which my pup loves! Lauren also has a nice gate setup, so your dog isn't likely to run out the door, which is a small thing, but really puts me at ease, knowing my pup isn't going to go running across their neighborhood when someone stops by. My pup always comes home happy and tired, which is fantastic when I've just come home from a trip.”

“So great! They kept in constant contact and updated me on how my dog was doing from sleeping to playing. Super flexible and easy to get setup with! Thank you guys for taking care of my baby!!”

Many sitters in UT ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
