About: Hello! Now accepting new clients fall 2026-longer overnight bookings preferred! For 15 years I owned a loving house/pet-sitting and dog walking business and I grew up on a ranch so have been caring for animals my entire life, also a cat lady at heart! I've also helped my sister with her dog training business. All of greater Bend, Portland (West Valley/Mac/Salem) areas inc. coast to Newport accepted! I'd love to hike or take gentle walks/play fetch with your pups (had two of my own for many years) and as a homeowner myself I will leave your home clean and well-cared for. Longer stays preferred! I work remotely so am flexible on location in Northern Oregon. This means I have the ability to do midday or evening walks. I hike almost daily so either active or mellow elderly dogs are OK but I'm also a huge cat lover! I enjoy caring for multiple pets in one home with different needs. I'm extremely cautious yet friendly with the animals I am caring for. I have a gentle nature that works well with nervous animals however I also believe in positive reinforcement for those pets that like to push the boundary. I am in tuned to dog & cat body language, have years of experience caring for other parts of a home long-term, and as a homeowner myself am very responsible.
“Our dog had a great time at Matt's. We were in town just for half of the day and happy to find a place for our dog to enjoy herself with other dogs. We received pictures and a video while she was there. She was tired and slept really well that night. Matt was friendly, easy to talk and communicate with. We would definitely book again with Matt if we are ever in his area again.”

“Bethany and her husband were great with Benny. Didn’t stress when our evening took a little longer than planned. Sent a couple of photos so we knew the dog was settled in well”

About: I've taken care of all kinds of pets. For over twenty years, friends, families, business associates and everybody's been happy and i'm even animal cpr trained I am currently not working. Uh, so I have lots of time to spend with your pets playing with them. I have six acres, and i'm always outside with the dog, so never outside alone. I have a partially fenced yard. I have 6 acres, and I have trails through the property. But I never let the dogs go out by themselves. I always walk them through my property at least four times a day.
“Tiffany was an excellent Rover for our little cockapoo. Our dog was happy when we picked her up, Tiffany sent update pictures, and I was able to reach her when needed. Overall, a great experience! Thank you Tiffany!”

About: Hi there and thank you for taking the time to view my profile! If you're looking for a place where your dog will be treated like a member of the family while you're away, you've come to the right spot. Since the day I was born, I have been surrounded by all sorts of breeds (herding, working, hounds, toys, sporting)…you name it. There isn't a breed or size I don't adore. This has taught me that every dog is uniquely special and I truly love them all. After I recently lost my sweet and wonderful 16.5 year old Blue Heeler, Sooky, I have so much love to share and I'd be thrilled to give it to your fur baby! Whether your dog enjoys running around in my fully fenced yard or snuggling up by the fire when it's cold, they'll get cozy and comfortable care while they are with me. I'm experienced with dogs at all life stages, from energetic puppies to mellow seniors. I can also handle things like giving medication or if you're working on commands/hand signals (I trained Sooky by hand signals only…no words) at home, I am more than happy to keep up that consistency while they're here! As a stay at home mom, I'm usually home all day so I can provide lots of company, attention, and affection! Treats are free with your permission! The only times I have to leave are for quick school runs for my kiddos, who are 3 and 6. My kids have been surrounded by dogs since they were born so they love dogs but they also understand some dogs need space and time to acclimate. With that said, if your pup is coming to visit, I kindly ask that they should be okay with kids and other dogs. Thanks for taking the time to read, please reach out with any questions. I look forward to meeting you and your fur love. I am 100% invested in creating a positive experience for both your pup and you. I look forward to having your pup steal my heart. P.S. Just something deeply personal to me. I take huge pride in my natural connection with dogs, I have heard countless times over the years "they never warm up to people that fast!” so know they will be in a loving environment. P.S.S. Please know I am happy to give you photo/video updates so you have complete peace of mind. As a stay at home mom, I have a lot of flexibility. This means I can really focus on what your dog needs each day and tailor it to them. If you have an energetic pup who needs frequent potty breaks and active fun, I’m here for it! If you have a wise senior who just wants a quiet spot to snooze with periodic belly rubs or back scratches, I’m here for that too. Besides taking my kids to and from school in the morning and afternoon, I'm usually home. This means your dog won't be left alone for long hours. Whether your dog likes morning fun, lazy afternoon naps or a cozy evening wind down, I'll make sure your pup has a wonderful time with me. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities for every guest pup. I want them to have a "home away from home". My home features a fully fenced, secure backyard where dogs can safely run, explore, and play under my constant supervision. Inside, they’re welcome to roam freely, play with toys or snuggle up where they please. To keep the environment safe and happy for all, I will make sure every pup is friendly with children and comfortable playing alongside other dogs. I will be sure to supervise all interactions and treat your dog with the same care I’d give my own. You’ll receive photo/video check-ins during the day so you can see just how safe, happy, and settled your fur baby is!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs(my own) and others since I was 10. Recently adopted a 3 year old Malinois mix who is a sweetie and really good with other dogs. Since then I have interacted with a bunch of dogs and learned a lot. Our Malinois is trained and loves all types of dogs. We have taught her some tricks so maybe I can teach your dog some too 😎. I’m currently not working so your dog would be my primary job. I can take them to parks, on hikes or whatever requests are given I deeply respect every individual pet and their specific needs. Whether it’s taking them to the park or taking a nice stroll on the neighborhood so they have enough time to smell every plant, I take great care in every aspect of your pet’s stay/care with me. I live in an apartment, with plentiful grassy areas and park nearby, but also don’t mind going to a client’s house. At the end of the day, I care for every pet the same way I care for my own, with compassionate care and safety at the core.
“Chloe and her family took great care of our pup when we were in town for a softball tournament. She was really flexible in accommodating our last minute game schedules for drop off and pick up. ?”
“Bridget had a great time with Novely. Novely was very kind and caring with Bridget. With the photos and video Novely sent I could see that Bridget ran and played in the yard with Novely’s dog and had a fun day.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Willamina commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OR ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
