“My husband and I met Alisha in October for a meet and greet with Milo, our mixed yellow lab and golden retriever. The meeting was for an upcoming trip during the Christmas holidays. We instantly liked her, she was on time when she came, she was professional, she bonded right away with Milo. Soon after I booked a three day walk in November just to reconnect again with her. It was for a 30 minute walk and again she was on time and I love the fact that I get a text and a pic of the walk. Tomorrow will be the start of a 13 day house sitting and we feel confident about the whole thing knowing that Milo will not be neglected. We’re glad we came across her at Rover. About: Well I’ve had cats all my life but I do love dogs! I have done over night(s)! I love taking dogs for walks & to parks to run around and possibly play with other dogs I’ve helped with a friend of mine dogs while his other family members were off on a camping trip so I took them out for potty a few times a day, fed them, & played with them. I’m definitely an animal lover who loves being outdoors and helping out if and when needed I’ve been told multiple times that I’m a cat/dog whisperer if you know what I mean by that. About: Being raised on a small farm, there have always been cats & dogs around to share in the ups & downs of life. I love leaning into each individual's personality and working with positive reenforcement to catch the animals doing good behavior! I have experience training/working with dogs of all ages. Sometimes our furry friends need extra care. I am experienced in oral medicine administration, wound care, ear & eye treatments (if need be)! I am available for pet care on a daily basis. I care for my cats & dog daily. If ever I need backup support, I have a network of folks willing to lend a hand. When pet sitting, I follow the instructions given by the owner regarding when to feed, how much food, how often they need to go outside. Beyond that, I typically tidy up the space every evening, sweeping/vacuuming, refreshing waters, etc. I try to develop a routine so that the animals know what to expect and can relax into a sense of order. I generally find ways that each animal likes to play and find games that are fun and rewarding.

About: I have taken care of my family’s pets as well as friends and neighbors pets for most of my life because of how much I love animals. I worked in a pet grooming salon for a few years and besides leaning the skills of grooming pets, I also learned to treat their owners with the same amount of care. I am a college student heading into my summer vacation, and would love to spend more time with some furry friends. I am available any day and time of the week.
