About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals — starting with playful puppies and large-breed dogs. As a lifelong pet owner myself, I understand the deep bond between pets and their families. I've raised both big and small dogs and supported friends, neighbors, and clients by providing loving, reliable care for their animals when they couldn’t be there. About: I have had dogs my whole life. My first dog on my own as an adult is currently a senior. He is a very sweet and gentle dog who loves to play with new friends. I have about 10 years of experience, dog sitting friends and family members' dogs. I am comfortable working with food aggressive dogs, highly anxious dogs, and everyone in between. I am experience with administering medications, working with puppies and supporting senior dogs. I have a great track record with leash training, potty training and winning over anxious dogs. I use positive reinforcement (single ingredient dried pumpkin treats) to keep your pups attention and gain their trust. I am happy to do a meet and greet beforehand in order to gain your trust too :) I look forward to working with you! I currently work part-time, Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. I am available for walks after 2:00 p.m. on those days and all day Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available Monday through Friday for pet sitting, but will be out of the house for the hours of 8-1 MWF. My partner works from home, so if your dog need 24/7 care we can arrange that. As I mentioned in my bio, my main training mechanism is positive reinforcement. I do not believe in punishing dogs. In my experience it does not work and does not feel good! That being said, I am happy to work with you and come up with a plan together.
About: I have had both dogs and cats my entire life and even had a ferret at one point. I am a dog walker and cat and dog sitter (or cat walker if you would like!). Some of my current clients have been with me for 5 years. I also volunteer at a local shelter. I can drop in after 3 on most days since I am a student and weekends I am more flexible so I can work around your needs. I have a closed yard for my German Shepard and my cat is strictly an indoor cat. We use a mixture of dry and wet food for both animals and have frequent potty breaks for the dog.
