âTahliyah is an excellent dog sitter! She watched my 6 month old golden doodle for the whole day and provided updates, pics, and videos. Her puppy, Rocket, is very playful and the got along very well. Thankfully, my pup was wiped out when I picked him up and he chilled the rest of the night. Iâd recommend Tahliyah and will be utilizing her services again.â

About: I bring a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals of all kindsâfrom cats and dogs to birds, bunnies, and even livestock. I grew up working alongside an equine veterinarian and have spent years collaborating closely with small animal vets, giving me a strong foundation in animal health and behavior. Whether your pet needs meds, special care, or just a little extra love, I specialize in supporting animals with medical needs and take pride in being calm, compassionate, and highly attentive. Iâm not just a sitterâIâm a lifelong animal caregiver who treats every pet like family. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means Iâm able to give pets the time, attention, and care they need throughout the day. Whether it's midday walks, medication schedules, or just extra snuggles, Iâm consistently present and available to keep your pets happy and stress-free. My routine is built around their needsâbecause their comfort and well-being come first. đž In my home, pets enjoy a safe, secure environment with a fully fenced yard and plenty of supervised playtime. My own friendly dogs are always happy to welcome new furry friends, but if your pet prefers one-on-one attention, I can provide a quiet, relaxed space just for them. I tailor the experience to match each petâs personality and comfort levelâwhether they love to socialize or just want a calm companion.
About: Hi there! đž With over 10 years of equine handling experience and many years of dog and pet sitting, Iâve learned that great pet care goes beyond simply being present, itâs about being observant, consistent, and reliable. I take pride in providing calm, attentive, and compassionate care tailored to each animalâs unique needs, whether theyâre energetic, shy, senior, or somewhere in between. Iâm very mindful of routines, body language, and individual personalities, and I believe patience and consistency make all the difference in helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I value clear, open communication and always make it a priority to keep owners informed and at ease. From daily visits to extended stays, my goal is to provide a dependable, low-stress experience for both pets and their people. I treat every animal with the same care and respect I would my own, and Iâd be honored to care for your pets and farm animals alike. I work part-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends. This flexibility gives me the ability to provide consistent, attentive care, accommodate a variety of routines, and spend meaningful, unhurried time with your pets. When caring for pets in a clientâs home, Iâm very mindful of both the animals and the space they live in. I approach each visit with a safety-first mindset, taking care to secure doors, gates, and feeding areas, and to follow all instructions exactly as given. Iâm attentive to subtle changes in behavior or environment and respond calmly and responsibly if anything seems out of the ordinary. I understand the trust involved in allowing someone into your home, and I treat that responsibility with respect and professionalism. My goal is to provide a steady, reliable presence so pets remain comfortable in their familiar surroundings and owners can feel confident knowing their home and animals are in careful hands.

About: We are those people our friends and family call to care for their fur babies. Animals have been a part of our lives growing up. We do have a 5 year old who too shares our love for animals. We work from home, our schedule allows us to take the pups out as many times as they need. As well as cuddle breaks and belly rubs. We are an animal loving family, we have two dogs of our own. Our dogs get along with other dogs. We like to consider our dogs very laid back and chill. But if you prefer for the dogs to remain separate that is not a problem at all. We do have a large yard, it is not fenced but we will always be sure to leash up before we go out.
About: I have lots of experience with crate training and a very energetic pup in my house who needs lots of socialization. He and I both need friends and exercise. I work from home and am attending school a couple of days a week, so I have time the rest of the week to get some fresh air. I have also fostered several dogs over the years and enjoy having furry friends that I can love and then give back. When I introduce a new dog to our family, I always keep them on leash at first until we establish trust, always use the crate for feeding and at night with white noise to help anxiety. I want the dog and my family to have the best time possible.
âWe had a wonderful experience with Theresa and Ed. They were so kind and attentive to our pets, and we loved getting all the photo updates. It really gave us peace of mind while we were away.â

âAmber was great with my dog and with communicating with me. My dog seemed to have felt very comfortable with Amber and her family which made me feel very comfortable leaving her in their care in the future.â

About: Hello! My husband trained K9s in the military and was a police K9 handler in a local jurisdiction here in Virginia. Once his K9 retired we adopted him for good and made him part of our family forever! We also have a small fluffy puppy that my kids adore! They play with the German Shepherd and snuggle with the Puppy. I was a police officer for nine years until I retired to enjoy my kids when they were little. I have always had a dog and have been the main care taker for them for years. I also help care for my sisters elderly boxer, he is about the most high maintenance dog we know, but we love him anyway! :) We recently went on vacation and were astonished at not only the prices for boarding our dog but really the overall lack of care for them while they were there, this inspired me to look for other pet care options and I found Rover! I am excited to help families looking for affordable pet care!
