About: My wife Sherry and I have had pets for the last 31 years of marriage. We know how important it is to find a responsible and trusting person to take care of your pets while you're away. Let us take care of your precious pets and we will treat them like our own. You can have them hosted in our house or we can make drop in visits at yours. We live in a secluded area with a large yard which your pets will enjoy. I'm an IT professional and my wife stays home so there is always someone looking after your pets. We'll take the stress away from you while you are away from your pets by treating them like our own. I work full time but my wife Sherry is home all day. We are a team a she will look after the pets during the day and we both will take care of them at night. We currently don't have any dogs since we recently lost our little old man Monty. We have one indoor/outdoor cat named Creature which is very friendly. We have a large back yard which is not fenced but we can take them out on a leash or tie them up on a lead an supervise them. Our property is secluded and is not close to a road so, there is no danger from traffic.

About: Hello! My husband trained K9s in the military and was a police K9 handler in a local jurisdiction here in Virginia. Once his K9 retired we adopted him for good and made him part of our family forever! We also have a small fluffy puppy that my kids adore! They play with the German Shepherd and snuggle with the Puppy. I was a police officer for nine years until I retired to enjoy my kids when they were little. I have always had a dog and have been the main care taker for them for years. I also help care for my sisters elderly boxer, he is about the most high maintenance dog we know, but we love him anyway! :) We recently went on vacation and were astonished at not only the prices for boarding our dog but really the overall lack of care for them while they were there, this inspired me to look for other pet care options and I found Rover! I allow animals on the furniture and bed so they always feel welcome to cuddle up with me for pets and ear rubs. Likewise, at bedtime your furry companion can curl up on the bed or sleep on the plush doggy bed in the comfy nook at the foot of the bed. My goal is to ensure that at all points of their adventure they feel a part of the family.
