“Finally, we came home to worn out dogs! We have two GSP’s, they are full of energy! It is hard to find a dog sitter that wears our pups out. Exercise is a necessity with GSP’s. I understand why other rover sitters avoid this, but it’s rough on our pups. Jessica let me know, if no other dogs could play, her pup was available and friendly. Our dogs have been laying in bed the entire time we have been home. It’s so nice to come home to tired pups. Thank you Jessica and John!!”

“Pippin had an absolute blast with Colby and David. Colby sent us daily updates and their kids were really great with our dog. If we weren't moving, they'd be our go-to dogsitters as long as they'd take us.”
“Michelle & Robert were great! This was our second time leaving Koda with them. I could tell Koda got lots of love and was able to run around with his new furry friends. He even said his goodbyes before leaving and took such a long nap upon arriving home. He was a happy boy!”

“Kayla always takes such good care of our boys. We love getting the pictures she sends and she communicates with us quickly. I know that they love spending time with her family and they're taken care of because they always are tuckered out after a fun visit. We go back to Kayla anytime we need boarding, a potty break, or a walk because we trust her and know that our boys are in good hands.”

“Tasha was one of the best dog sitters I’ve used on Rover! She was very responsive, communicated well, and took excellent care of my dog. It was comforting to know my dog was in a safe environment while I was out of town. Highly recommend!”

“With a last minute request, Dooku spent a weekend with Lindsay and her family. From the onset, Lindsay was very prompt with responses, she was very communicative, pleasant and positive. I expressed a concern about Dooku being susceptible to heat exhaustion because he is a black Lab with two coats and the days were very hot (100 to 105 degrees). Lindsay put me at ease and made it clear that she would take care of him, exercise him lightly and monitor his behavior. Knowing Lindsay and her family had a swimming pool, I cautioned her about Dooku’s love for swimming (it’s a lab thing 🐕🦺🐾) and that she would be challenged keeping him out of the pool. Throughout the stay, Lindsay sent me updates, photos and in no time at all, she informed me Dooku was swimming in her pool with her family and they were having fun! There is nothing like putting your cherished pup in the hands of someone else and knowing they are safe and well taken care of. Dooku will certainly be back and Lindsay comes highly recommended! Thanks Lindsay!!!”

“Jan was fabulous with our golden retriever! She is very knowledgeable about dogs, took Millie in as her own and kept us updated daily. Millie had a wonderful time on 2 fenced acres. We highly recommend Jan!”

“Melissa was so patient with Cooper. He was so scared and sad that we “left” him and gave Melissa a hard time the first day. She won him over the 2nd day and I was so relieved. We were thinking of coming home early, but she was so patient and kind Cooper was fine the rest of the time letting us enjoy Thanksgiving and our granddaughter’s first birthday party on Saturday. Thank you so much Melissa for taking good care of Cooper and Sandy too.”

“Karen watched my dog Nico for about two weeks and was a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive and friendly, willing to work with me in an odd situation as well. Nico adored her and I will absolutely recommend her.”

“Unbelievably sweet woman who may actually love my dog more than I do (didn't think that was possible)! Blown away by her total care of my boy and HIGHLY recommend her!!! Thank you, Nicole!”

“We are so happy with our experience using Haley for boarding! She has a cute dog that got along well with ours. She communicated promptly with us and sent lots of pictures.”

“Finn had such a fun time with Christopher! He played so hard that when I picked him up he just snuggled and napped the afternoon away. I loved all the pictures I got everyday as well! Would definitely rebook with Christopher!”

“Rich and his family are amazing dog sitters! They do a fantastic job. We were away for two weeks and each day they took time to take our dog for walks and allowed play time with their other animals. We were so impressed with their entire family!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 21 years, and I’ve yet to meet one I didn’t want to be friends with. From energetic puppies who think socks are toys to sweet senior dogs who prefer naps over zoomies, I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I provide reliable, loving care that includes walks, feeding, playtime, cleanup, cuddles (if approved by your pup, of course!), and basic medications when needed. I know leaving your furry family member behind can be stressful, so I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles—not just a quick check-in! I do run the occasional errand, but your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine always come first. I’ll make sure they get lots of love, exercise, and updates for you, because I know you’re probably missing them as much as they’re missing you. 🐾 Your pup can expect a fenced yard, a toy box that’s always open for business, plenty of belly rubs, fresh food and water, and two energetic dogs who are usually happy to welcome a new playmate. Safety comes first, fun is a close second, and your furry family member will be treated like one of my own.

“Bonnie is amazing! I was very apprehensive about leaving my dog anywhere. Bonnie treated my dog as her own. She sent me daily pictures/videos and updates. She gave my dog meds and even dressed her up with a crown and bandana on her birthday. I highly recommend boarding with Bonnie. I would definitely take my dog back.”

“We had a very good experience with Nalleli. She was very friendly & loving with our dog. We told her that our dog did not have much social experience with other dogs. She worked to accommodate our dog’s need to make sure that things went smoothly. My wife & I highly recommend Nalleli to watch over your pets. We would definitely use her again. Thank you Nalleli for taking care of our dog.”

“Kaina always has fun when she stays with Aimee, Derek Jacob and their two sweet dogs. I love being able to leave her with them knowing she'll be very well taken care of!”

“In home style Kennel. Our three mid-sized Eurasiers can be very reserved with new people, but they got on with Gabby right from the start, and were as busy loving on her as we left as they left as they were with me. Two of our dogs need special diets and medications, and that was handled as part of the bid contract- no extra fees. We even got pictures and reports emailed to us on the road! The dogs returned without a kennel smell: something I've never experienced before. I highly recommend Gabby as a kennelmaster.”

“We felt completely at peace leaving our dog Sami in the care of Alecia and Terry! We could tell during our initial “Meet and Greet” that Alecia was a loving, caring and friendly person. Sami was able to check out their comfortable/peaceful home, secure/ample yard and meet their sweet dog - Pippie. Alecia took detailed notes of things we said about Sami’s care during our visit. The daily updates with photos that we received while we were away were great and we looked forward to receiving them! Thank you, Alecia and Terry, for taking such good care of Sami, loving her and for making her part of your family!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in ID ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
