About: Giant breed dog owner with 25+ years of hands-on experience, as well as a current toy breed owner, giving me the knowledge and confidence to care for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Experienced with daily care, exercise, feeding routines, medications, senior support, and understanding breed-specific needs for both large and small dogs. I’ve also owned and cared for cats for over 25 years through every life stage — from kittens to seniors — and understand the importance of patience, comfort, routine, and individualized attention for each pet. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, large, small, young, or senior, I provide reliable, attentive care tailored to their unique needs. As a small business owner, I have the flexibility to schedule my day around your dog or cat’s routine and care needs, allowing for consistent, dependable, and timely visits. This flexibility helps ensure your pets receive attentive care, companionship, exercise, and comfort while you’re away. I focus on keeping your dog or cat’s routine as consistent, comfortable, and stress-free as possible while you’re away. During each visit, I provide feeding, fresh water, walks or playtime, and thorough litter box cleaning when needed, while making sure your pet’s environment stays clean, safe, and comfortable. I take time to observe your pet’s behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, since even small changes can be important. Whether your pet is energetic and social or more reserved and independent, I’m happy to provide enrichment, exercise, affection, or quiet companionship based on their individual personality and comfort level. I always treat your home with respect, keeping things tidy and secure, and I provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident knowing your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Took great care of the cats, including one very high maintenance 18+ kitty who frequently has litter box issues and has daily meds. Jessie C. kept the box (and the cat’s accidents) cleaned up and cats well looked after.”

“Repeat customer** Katie is your go to! She handles and cares for your pet(s) with professionalism and love. She was prompt, took excellent care and followed instructions for both of our dogs. We feel confident with her services and look forward to the next visit.”
About: I’ve been taking care of animals for 3 years, used to watch my neighbors, I enjoy doing things your pet loves and enjoys whenever needed. I work part time as a Vet Tech at Calvert Animal Hospital, looking to make a little extra money and I can come when you need me to, I get off usually around 7. Although my pet is not as friendly with others, I can easily separate the two while still tending to both. I will let you know if there is ever a problem but I’m sure there won’t be.
About: I have been a pet owner my entire adult life. Since living in the area I have owned multiple pets (dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pics, fish) and enjoy playing and cuddling with them and teaching them basic commands. I am also in my 3rd year as a CAWL volunteer in Prince Frederick. I work the school system and am trustworthy, reliable, and kind. I have plenty of time throughout on weekends and in the summer to provide pet care and long walks and play. I am an early riser and enjoy pet care in the early mornings. I play with dogs and cats 3-4 times throughout the day and will do basic chores regarding the pets. I visit with the pets 2-4 times a day, depending on location and needs. I feed them, make sure clean water is provided, clean up any messes or spilled food, messy water area, etc. Then the fun part - we go out to play or play indoors with toys. If they enjoy the ball I can throw it for them or go on walks so they can enjoy the smells and sights of the neighborhood.
About: I raised two bigs that I have trained years now and I grew up on a small farm so I have gotten the opportunity to care for animals for some time now! I also volunteer at animal shelters, getting the opportunity to work with all kinds of dogs as well. I am home from playing overseas and am available most days! During week days I can go to others homes to walk or check in pets normally any time of the day. I am comfortable with taking any size pet out for walks or stopping in to give them attention and have no issue taking them out to play and potty based on what the owner wishes!
About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs for about 10 years now, through my friends, family, neighbors and my own 2 puppies! I’m a college athlete who’s very active, so I’m happy to run/play and keep energetic dogs exercised while also making sure they feel loved, safe, and cared for! Pet care has always been a part of my daily routine, caring for my own two dogs! However, I’m a college student now, who lives an hour away from home, but I’m back for weekends and have plenty of free time to care for pets! I provide a safe, fun environment for pets. I have a fenced yard for running around outside, and two friendly dogs who would love to make friends! I closely supervise pets and will follow all instructions/special requests strictly from owners!
“Faith has watched our Shiba Inus multiple times now, and we couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. She’s reliable, responsive, and truly great with our dogs—even administering medication to our elderly Shiba with no issues. Most recently, she helped us out while we were in the hospital for the birth of our son. We weren’t sure how many drop-ins we’d need or how long we’d be gone, but she was incredibly flexible and quick to respond. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pups were in good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I have six years experience caring for my former pet beagle. I don’t have any dogs in my home but I do have two children. I love animals and I look forward to meeting you and yours! I love dog walking and being outdoors. Although I’m available for part time work I currently have limited availability based on the specific days. Please contact me and I would love to discuss the details. I look forward to hearing from you! I have a large yard and live in a neighborhood with plenty of areas for walking. If you chose to have your pet stay in my home we have an open concept home so they will checked on regularly.

About: While working in a dog shelter, I cared for dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including administering medications. I have also volunteered for the past two years at an animal shelter, assisting with the care, handling, and enrichment of both dogs and cats. I currently work as a dog groomer, where I continue to build hands-on experience in animal care, behavior, and handling while prioritizing each dog’s comfort and well-being. I’m currently a part-time groomer’s assistant, so I have plenty of time to love your fur babies! My schedule is easily adaptable to fit the routines that they already follow to avoid disruption. In past job and volunteer trainings, I’ve received extensive training on canine and feline body languages, how to respect them, and how to safely build trust before things like leash walks, crate time, or play.
Wild Goose Landing cat parents share their Rover experiences
Sara did a wonderful job taking care of my cats while we were away. She sent me pictures everyday and a message on how they were doing. Sara has a special something because my cats usually run off when someone pulls up to the house. Not when Sara showed up. She even pet my super shy cat. Thank you Sara for taking such good care of them. I could relax in my vacation.
