About: Hi pet parents! My name is Alexis. My first experience caring for pets was a little unorthodox being that my first pet was a chicken. But since then I've owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, goats, horses, snakes, and lizards. I am absolutely certain that your pet would feel at home with me. I am comfortable medicating, orally and giving injections. I have spent time in the veterinary field so I am well versed with medications and other basic treatments. I am available when you need me and I would love to be your pet's new best friend! Meet and greets are encouraged but not necessary. I work full-time but am available for drop in visits or walks before 7:30 am or after 5:30 pm Monday through Friday or any time on weekends. For any other times/requests, please feel free to send me a message and I'll do my best to accommodate you and your pet. I meet your pets on the floor, at their level, so they can build trust with me. For safety, I ensure all pets have a collar or harness with an ID tag in the event of an emergency while walking. I am very cautious to make sure all pets are on a leash and keep their distance from other dogs while walking. All pets will be fed and watered and cared for as if they were my own.

I am also a certified Therapy Dog Handler and volunteer to provide those services around town, as well as volunteer with the local Humane Society. With over 25 years of experience in pet sitting, dog boarding, and pet rescue, you can feel confident that your pet’s needs are in good hands. My schedule is flexible as I mostly work from home, so I can cater to your pet’s needs for drop in visits and dog walking. I am comfortable with whatever animal care is needed, including feeding, walking, litter, medications, and providing lots of play, cuddles, and pets!
