Amy J.

“I booked Amy a couple of months in advance of the trip I was taking. She was very patient and helpful when it came to figuring out the logistics of the booking. I chose Amy because of her bio in how she states routine is important to our animals. As a caregiver for cats herself, she was very agile in learning the methodology I used for my own cat and followed instructions very well. Of course she also made sure to show love in her own way with my little guy and mix it up with him so he wouldn’t be bored. Each time I would check in for a couple minutes through my security system while Amy was there, she was always respectful, caring, and inquisitive as to how to interact with Kyo the best. She also took care to respect the space she was in and treat my home as a well mannered guest would and arrived a couple of minutes early for each drop in. I would absolutely book her again and I’m very thankful for the time she spent with my fur ball.”

About: the empathy one is capable of carrying cannot be taught! Love and care is second nature to those with heart. And those with heart can feel and understand not only people, but animals as well! Plus, I am nearly positive my mom loved her pets more than she has ever loved humans which somehow turned me into the type of gal that will slam on her breaks to let a squirrel cross the road. I have had my own doggy, Athena, since 2018 and now have a second doggy, Rex, that I now care for. Two peas in a pod. I have a scheduled night shift job and deliver food in my free time! My mornings are open. I usually take Mondays and Tuesdays off for the week but am willing to negotiate :) I have my own two babies at my house with a fenced in yard. To care for my clients doggies, I would want to know what was expected and how I could maneuver around what they needed and their space/yard!

Bradley E.

“Frances is the best dog walker! She is so sweet and patient, and whenever I get home from work my dog is happy and tired and seems like he had a great day. It’s been a huge relief for me to find a good dog walker, and I’m very thankful to Frances for her help. She will take good care of your pets. :)”

Kelsey B.

“Kelsey is a great person to help with your pets. She is punctual, communicates effectively, and will show endless love for your animals! My Greyhound wags his tail 100 mph when he sees her! Better snag her before someone else does!”

About: Thanks for visiting my profile! I've been dog sitting for family and friends, caring for their pets, since I was a kid. I worked in an animal hospital, giving me insight into what medical issues and concerns to look out for. Currently I have 2 rescue dogs of my own, one of which I raised from a puppy! I love caring for and playing with dogs and cats, keeping them active or meeting them at their activity level or needs. My husband has worked with dogs his whole life, even working for a training facility and managing the kennel operations for 3 years. Together we have watched over many fur babies for our friends and family. I walk my 2 dogs (Benny and Red) around our neighborhood regularly and have experienced almost every possible interaction with other dogs in the neighborhood. Learning the cues of potential aggression, or stress from other dogs, learning how to control my own dogs in those scenarios, and how to remain calm, while keeping my dogs calm. I'm currently not working a job with rigid hours, which means I am free to care for your pets, working around your schedule. Caring for my 2 dogs now requires me to be accustom with daily pet care, and meeting their needs. I have a 6ft fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs that can keep your furry loved one entertained. My dogs are also accustom to being around dogs with stronger or more timid personalities, and with a simple command my dogs can play independently, allowing your pet to warm up to them on their terms. I am comfortable crating your dog if desired.

About: I have grown up and around pets my entire life, and have had two pets of my own! I have a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever currently. He is a 3 year old fabulous and sweet boy and we are obsessed with him! He does struggle with reactivity, which makes me versed in caring for dogs with anxiety and knowing when and how to avoid certain triggers to keep pets feeling safe and respected. I had a cat named Lemon for 8 years. She passed away from cancer at the age of 8, but I simply adored her and because of her have a lot of experience in caring for cats, and cats with illnesses. We had cats, dogs, lizards, birds, snakes, and bunnies growing up, so I definitely understand that animals = family. I have experience caring for senior pets and puppies/kittens. I have experience with animals with chronic illnesses and animals that require medications. Our family Lab (Stella) and Weimaraner (CJ) lived into old age (13-14 years old) and required medications and fair amount of assistance toward the ends of their long and beautiful lives. I am open to whatever your pets may need, but also am forward and honest in that I understand my limitations. I would never put them in an unsafe situation or one that I did not feel I was the best person to manage! I currently work full-time in healthcare, but typically have time on evenings and weekends to help care for pets on rover. I love walks and cuddles! I have a fully fenced in yard, and understand the importance of keeping our fur babies safe and contained. I am familiar with many different harness and leash styles and am able to crate in your home if needed!

Ellen L.
“Ellen was awesome during her drop in visit for Gatsby! She was very friendly and arrived just on time. Our dog is very fearful and can be aggressive toward strangers at first. She handled it so well and worked great with calming him down. We are looking forward to her sitting our pup!”

Carrie B.

“Carrie is wonderful with my 2 dog’s. Carrie is always on time she also sends pictures of my dogs when she there. She lets me know what’s going on with my dogs. I can without reservation recommend Carrie.”

Vicky T.

“Vicky did a fantastic job with our four cats and one dog. I appreciated her attentiveness with multiple senior animals with health conditions, she was consistent with text and photo updates during walks and feedings. I’d book her again to care for them in a heartbeat!”
