About: I worked as a trainer for PetSmart back in the day which taught me the fundamentals of consistently improving pet behavior. There has never been a time in my life that I or my family haven’t had a dog by our sides, and my husband and I have fostered and adopted multiple rescues over the years. Our pet parenting skills have improved as we’ve defined boundaries with our dogs, worked on our patience, and sought additional training through the years. I recently left my corporate Food & Beverage job to pursue personal interests and some mental balance, so I am open and flexible at this time. I am focusing on loving on my own fur babies and am excited to help provide the care for other pet parents that I needed so much as I grew in my career over the years and wasn’t home as much as I wanted to be. I am comfortable walking any dog, even reactive dogs, and will walk one at a time as needed-I know this can produce a lot of anxiety for pet parents with less predictable dogs. I am familiar with crate and place-training, clicker training, on-lead recall training, and reinforcing positive behaviors during my time with your pup. I will ensure they have exercise and stimulation consistent with your lifestyle so they are almost as loved on as they’d be if you were there doing it yourself! I have experience administering oral and subcutaneous meds as well as managing anxiety during weather events or other such difficult times.
