About: Hi! I’m Makenna, an experienced pet care professional with a background in both dog grooming and pet resort care. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities, providing walks, feeding, medication, enrichment, and plenty of love and attention. “We are so grateful for Isaiah! We had to leave town last minute, and he worked with us every step of the way. He came by beforehand to meet our dogs and has a lot of experience. One of our dogs is a new adoption, and she really only likes me, but he was able to get her to a place where she was comfortable and not stressed around him. That alone says a lot about how good he is. He was accommodating to whatever we needed during the sit and was respectful of our home. When we got back, our pets were happy, relaxed, and acting completely like themselves. We’ve had experiences in the past where you could immediately tell the level of care they received, and this was the opposite. It truly felt like they had been cared for the way we would care for them. Isaiah was that person. We will definitely be reaching out to him again in the future.”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Many of my neighbors would often ask me to take care of their pets while they're away, and I still watch all of them to this day! It gave me quite a lot of experience with different types of animals among all ages too. All of their amazing pets have inspired me to join Rover to meet many more, and hopefully, I can one day get a dog of my own! I'm currently on summer break for college with no part-time job, so my schedule is completely free and flexible for any sort of pet or home needs. I take utmost care of pets as they are just as important as people! As a dog owner myself, I love on them and go above and beyond when taking care of them. “Caitlin was excellent!! She took great care of my apartment and more importantly great care of my sweet cat Ophelia while I was out of town for a week. Caitlin is very kind and accommodating and she is always super quick to respond to messages. My cat has separation anxiety and also recently had to go through a major dietary and feeding routine change after getting an early stage kidney disease diagnosis. I was pretty nervous to have to leave her for a week while she was still adjusting to the new routine and not eating as well as I would like. But Caitlin truly did an amazing job with her. She kept me updated daily as requested and was able to get Ophie eating regularly (even the new prescription wet food which she was not a huge fan of before I left)! She has a very calm and caring energy which I think helped Ophelia feel safe and at ease while I was gone. Ever since I came home Ophie has been eating eagerly and regularly which she hasn't done in months. I honestly think the week she spent with Caitlin was healing for her and I couldn't be more grateful. I don't travel often but if/when I do I would be thrilled to have Caitlin caring for my cat again and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind and responsible sitter for their own furry friend.”
