“This was my first time using Rover and Carlos. I loved the amazing communication showing all details of the walk they had. Even how many pees and poops. And the route they took in my neighborhood. Carlos was able to work around my schedule and come early in the morning when it was quite chilly. I will definitely use Carlos and Rover the next time we have to leave our beloved dog behind!”

About: I have been working with animals since I was little. I have had a plethora of furry friends; rodents, reptiles, birds, cats, dogs, a pig! Most of my focus as of recent is dogs, I am actually taking a dog training certification course at the moment to eventually launch my own training program and daycare center. I am pet first aid and CPR certified, so in case any kind of emergency I am always prepared! Animals are my passion and seeing them happy and thrive gives me so much joy. We have a complete fenced in yard, an abundance of toys and treats, and of course, so much LOVE! I work at a hotel in downtown Paso in the evenings, if you’re close to the area I can use my break to do a quick run to the house! Our normal routine is going for a walk in the morning, coming home to have a teeth treat, and then playing in the yard! Between my partner and I, one of us is almost ALWAYS home. And if we’re not, we do have a furbo that we utilize to keep eyes on the dogs & communicate with them if need be. I have a complete fenced in yard, and have two dogs to help socialize and tire your dog out! We have comfy beds everywhere for your pup to take a nap, and they're always welcome to sit next to us on the couch!

About: I believe that pets aren't just pets. They are one of us, making them a big part of our families. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are usually out of sight until they are hungry. We have dog gates to keep everyone safe. I have a large fenced yard and a daughter who loves animals. We are a very dog friendly family. Your dogs will be in a fun home environment and love you for letting them stay here. We also have chickens and ducks! However, they are locked up and inaccessible to the dogs. About this sitter: I am a 36 year old stay at home mom and wife. I have a 13 year old daughter. She loves animals and is very gentle. My husband and I own our home. We have a large fenced in yard. I can walk dogs, help to potty train, help with basic obedience, crate train, take to dog parks, even come and clean litter boxes and feed cats! My dogs are crate trained and sleep in their crates when we are not home. My dogs get to be on the couch and bed with us. We do not leave them outside when it is too hot or too cold, but they do love to lay in the sun. Pet care fits great with my schedule, as taking care of my family is my number one priority. Working a 9 to 5 job just doesn’t fit in with my daily life. Pet care is fun, unique, and never the same! I have a fenced backyard. I would never leave your pet outside unattended. If I’m at your home, I’ll play with your cats or dogs. I’ll gain their trust (not just clean litter boxes or pick up after them). I make sure to take lots of videos and pictures so you know they are happy and taken care of. Your pets are treated with respect and like my own when I care for them.

About: I've had dogs in my home since I can remember. Our first dog, Ruby, was with us for 13 long years and she gave us our second dog, Tilly. She was with us until she sadly passed from cancer at 11 years of age. They went everywhere with us. They were truly part of the family. I can't afford to have my own dog right now but they are a true joy to have around. I will take care of your dogs like my own. The dogs will be able to go in and out of a doggy door in my side door. The yard is fully fenced but I will make sure they are safe and have plenty of water throughout the day as I will be working from home. I'm work from home so my day revolves around taking care of your pets. That could be a jog around the neighborhood or just making sure he/she has plenty of water. I have a one acre fenced yard that pets are free to run around in. I'm fully aware that it gets quite hot in the summer so I make sure there is plenty of water and cool places to escape the heat.

In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also dog sat for friends, looking after dogs of various breeds and sizes. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals, and I’m committed to giving each pet the time, energy, and affection they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize maintaining their established routines to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and at ease while you're away. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, portion sizes, and any specific needs. Daily walks are done at the times your pets are used to, and I always try to make sure they get the right amount of exercise and playtime based on their energy levels and preferences. I also make sure to spend quality time with your pets whether that means playing fetch, or simply being present to keep them company. I understand how important consistency is with my own dogs, so I stick closely to your instructions, including any medication schedules, crate routines, or expectations. My goal is to make your pets feel as happy and secure as they do when you're home.

But I could tell his brother would tolerate it. I can have other pets for sleep overs for cats only. I would keep them separate from my current spoiled boy as he needs to be an only child right now.

Brett E.
“Brett has had dogs in his life since he was 8 years old and just loves all kinds. All the pups love him right back. He has always been very responsible, loving, and caring with them. Our dog had puppies when he was 8 and he had such a great experience in helping with them. We kept one, Tilley, and she was his from the beginning. That hasn't changed as an adult. Until he moved out, he helped me with my Rover business, feeding and loving on the pups that came to stay with us. I trusted him completely with the pups. All our friends are dog people too and they all would not hesitate to have him take care of their pups. I think he would make an excellent dog sitter and walker. He would absolutely make sure the pups were taken care of, safe, and loved while in his care. Without hesitation, I would recommend him.”

Kenna C.
“Kenna has been house and pet sitting for me since she was in high school, and I truly can’t recommend her enough. I have three dogs—each with their own quirks, special diets, and one who needs daily medication—and they all absolutely love her. While I am away, Kenna provides daily updates, including photos and little notes about how everyone is doing—which gives me such peace of mind. Beyond caring for the dogs, Kenna also waters my porch plants and garden during the summer, makes sure my packages are safely stored in the garage, and somehow leaves my home even cleaner than when I left it. Her attention to detail, reliability, and genuine love for animals give me complete peace of mind whenever I’m out of town. I always like to stock the fridge with a few of her favorite snacks and drinks—just a small gesture of thanks for the incredible care she provides. The only downside is that she moved away for college, and finding someone who comes close to the level of trust and care Kenna provides has been nearly impossible. She will always be my first call when she’s home visiting!”

Kolleen B.
“Kolleen has the ability to “see” pets for their personalities. She has dog treats for the neighbor dog who comes by her house for pets and to sit with her - and probably for the treats! (Kolleen has cats, no dog.) Her own cats are well cared for and loved. Kolleen is reliable, respectful, and caring.”

“As someone who’s known Makara her whole life, I can confidently say she’s one of the most trustworthy, responsible, and caring people I know—especially when it comes to animals. I’ve seen how she takes care of our cat every single day with so much attention and love. I trust Desiree with my pets and highly reccomended her to take care of your pets as well!”

“She did a great job taking care of my two dogs! She was always on time and very responsive. She took care of my special requests and sent updates as well. I recommend as a caretaker for your pets and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again in the future.”

Bianca S.
“Best dog/house sitter ever. Bianca has a background working in a veterinary office and Max is in love with her. She sent pictures regularly and contacted us when there was an issue. She took him to the beach, on rides, and to her house to play with her Ruby (checking with us each time first). She went above and beyond, cleaning up dropped fruit, and the house was immaculate when we got home! HIGHLY recommend”
