“Shadow had her first July 4th and she spent it with Victoria. She updated me on how she was doing with all the noises and I couldn’t be more thankful knowing Shadow was somewhere safe!”

About: I am reliable and routine based. I will ensure the babies are fed, walked, bathed and receive the most love while in my care. Communication is very important to me and memories so I ensure that you will get FaceTime calls with the babies along with photos and videos and even some arts and crafts! I currently work from home so they furr babies will not be left alone. I have an SUV so car rides will be included if owner approved. I live in a two story loft apartment. It is Square Apartments ; so there is a beautiful walking trail on the complex and I also have a play area for the dogs inside of my home. Nap time is crucial so after play time I do play relaxing instrumentals to lounge and decompress. Rubs are a given and lots of hugs.
“Jennifer was wonderful! She communicated with us very well throughout Leo’s stay and sent us photos and videos every day, which gave us peace of mind knowing that he was happy, and well cared for. She was also very flexible with drop-off and pickup times and kindly accommodated us when we needed to drop Leo off very early in the morning. We really appreciated how attentive, reliable she was. Leo had a great stay, and we would definitely trust Jennifer to take care of him again. Highly recommend!”

“Always a great experience for us & our dog Stormy! We have definitely “found our sitter” this family is perfect for us they have always been available and are so accommodating and Stormy always returns happy & calm. Highly recommend, 5 stars, I’m about to book with them again for next weekend!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals and have used rover with my parents for the last couple years. I am now doing so on my own. I’m currently working part time and taking online classes while my boyfriend is looking for a job. We have a lot of time at home to spend caring and loving on our pets. I have a fenced yard as well as plenty of space for big and energetic dogs. I have personal experience in providing oral medication for my own dog everyday. We also have space to separate dogs if needed.
“Our pups loved staying with Kalee and her family. We got daily updates and lots of pictures. They were so patient with our puppies and did an intro meet up with their pups before we scheduled. We appreciate the extra care taking on our pups required. Definitely recommend!”

“What a lovely family! Our baby girl, Sassy Boo, has only been kenneled twice at a vet clinic in the past ten years. We hated the idea of her being caged. We decided to give Rover.com a try for an over night stay in a home. We were lucky to find Jordyn and Gerron. We were comforted by several messages and pictures. Sassy Boo had a big grin and was clearly happy and well cared for. We'll definitely be booking again. This is Sassy Boo's new home away from home. Thank you for your great service. Book with confidence!”

“Our girls, Emmy + Maysie, 10 month old Shih Tzu sisters, stayed overnight with Debbie for the first time last night. Debbie very generously sent pictures and let me know how they were doing throughout their stay. They were very well taken care of, enjoyed their time with Debbie and came home happy. What a blessing to find her on Rover. We will be booking with her again. 💞”

“Cheyenna is AWESOME‼️ I am going to book her on a regular basis at LEAST once a month and on date nights at the least. My dog Ronnie loves her and cant wait to go back!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was little. From training puppies, to grooming, to senior dogs who may need gentle care. I look forward to meeting your babies! I work full time, but it is a banking job so it’s very flexible. I can check on your animals every morning occasionally during my lunch, and also after work. I’m off by 4. I am off every weekend as well so I have plenty of time to make sure your babies are well taken care of. In my home currently I have a puppy of my own. I have crate, plenty of toys to share, the best of quality food, extra water and food bowls. There is a lot of grass and a lake with sidewalk to take your puppy on walks. My puppy also does well with other dogs but can be separated if needed. I am very respectful of owners homes, as I would expect in return. I am providing a service and would not only want your animal to feel comfortable but you as well. I’ve sat for many family members, so I would treat my clients even better.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Whitharral home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Whitharral.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Whitharral sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
