About: My family and I raised my first dog from a puppy. All the dogs (and cats) who followed were rescues. Most were seniors that we cared for till they passed away. I’ve also owned parakeets, and taught them to talk! Our current lifestyle makes it difficult to have pets of our own, and we miss them! If you’re looking for someone to love on your pup, kitty, or bird, I’d love to help out. I’m happy to feed your pets, walk your dogs, or stay with pets in your home while you’re away. As an owner of pets for many years, I enjoy their company; and, many times, pets are drawn to me.

“I had a great experience with Pamela. She's a dog whisperer, always on time, and loves being around dogs.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 12 . 5 years at spca as a teen, emergency vet office at 18, rehab of many critters. I have always had many pets exotic and domesticated. I now have a small Savannah cat breeding program, 11 chickens, 3 dogs , and a goat . I want to start this business to get out of hospitality. My husband is retired. We bought our dream home. This is something that fits my personality and my life. I work part time. The goal is to make this my full time job. I want to change my career into pet care . I am super excited I plan on coming to your home . I would make sure they feel loved. Leaving the home clean the way you left it. I want your pets to be excited to see me . Wanting to be return customer.

About: I am need of full time employment and have been pet sitting for friends and family for over ten years now. I absolutely love dogs and spending time with them because their love is unconditional. I grew up helping take care of my family's dog for about fourteen years and then helped raise a puppy who is turning ten in October. I enjoy being around dogs and playing with them so I feel like this is going to be the right gig for me. I am very positive and outgoing and love spending time outside. I'm currently unemployed and hoping to pick up as many gigs as I can to get a new routine started as I settled in a new location. I adjust based on the animal's needs. Some dogs I've watched have been incredibly more active and needing of attention than others, as well as cats. It's all about hearing what the owner needs for their pets while they're away to ease any anxiety they have of leaving them.

“Jennifer is super personable and loves dogs. She is also prompt and professional. Dogs and I are looking forward to having her over again.”

About: Howdy! My name is Grey, and i want to snuggle your dog! Once upon a time, as an aging single male with no children employed at a plant, a coworker asked me if I would mind watching her dog for a night while she left town. I obliged and from that grew several clients from my workplace, and friends told friends, dogs told dogs, and i was never in my own bed for months watching other peoples' dogs and homes. My reviews are real and recent and if dogs could write as well as they speak, they would echo the same. I'm extremely interactive with your Pooch, but I'M NOTHING SPECIAL. I do specifically what im told regarding pets, household duties, errands AND NOTHING MORE OR LESS unless circumstances absolutely called for it. Excessive dog walks? NO PROBLEM! Plant watering and mail? LEMME DO THAT! Receiving 18 Amazon packages daily that you don't want on your front porch? Perfect, I don't want them on your porch either! My goals for your booking are: 1) Total peace of mind for pet parents upon departure. 2. 100% wagalicious excitement OR cuddlicious tranquility for pet during the trip. 3) A clean and choreless home with happy pets upon arrival. I'm ultra reasonable and can work with people on pricing depending on specific scenarios BUT I am not a miracle worker nor am I a dog whisperer. I throw balls, take long walks, verbally stimulate, feed and water your furbabies. Sometimes, i let them kiss my mouth (once per day, per dog). I take them to parks. I take them on hikes. I do not train them to any extent. SO, if they are destructive with the owner around, they will be 10x as destructive with me around. If they pee in the house, they are going to pee in 10x as much Square footage with me around vs the actual owner. I'm not Cesar Milan....I'm YOU for a week. Please respond with some contact info, interested dates and maybe anything ultra specific needed during your excursion. I'm a solid sitter, but there is only one of me, so let's book soon! Any medical professionals specializing in male pattern baldness, TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE, please:) I do this full time, however, I'm newer to the area and I'm now discovering some of the challenges it provides, mostly that my average commute between jobs and home is over 1 hour. Ideally, i leave your house 1-2 times per day for no more than 4-5 hours. I do this with your dog's daily routine in mind, and am with them at whatever specific times needed for wake up, feedings etc. I use this time to handle other dogs, do my own errands or just a general break from sitting in the same place for 24 hours. These are obviously just guidelines and they can be altered to suit you and puppykins, and whatever is decided between us is adhered to responsibly every time. I love all dogs and 99% of cats and 95% of people. So much love to give.... I have ALWAYS, well before signing up for this app, cleaned client homes before client returns home. While not a professional, my goal is to always leave property in the same condition or better than I found it, mostly successfully. DON'T LET MY DEMOGRAPHIC FOOL YOU!!! I'm tidy and domesticated and I treat people's space and belongings with the highest level of care. I act as if there is a camera on me at work and in my personal life (and there likely is!). Pets are never unattended except for when I use restroom or quick necessity while tending to other matters of the home. Any and all protocols discussed are strictly adhered to. I take this very seriously. I watch a lot of Judge Judy and Judge Joe Brown helped raise me. I handle people's homes and pets in accordance with their exacting standards towards pet handlers and caretakers

In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.

For over 6 years, I have been caring for pets and homes of colleagues, friends, and family. Throughout my journeys, I have made sweet and affirming connections with numerous dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and the occasional bird, pig, chinchilla, and chicken. My petsitting responsibilities have included refilling and cleaning food and water bowls, scooping litter multiple times a day, taking dogs out for walks, engaging in nourishingly active play, and — of course — supplying snuggles, scratches, and belly rubs galore! I also have experience administering medication & shots to dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens, and have cared for senior dogs and cats as well. I have 6 years of experience housesitting. My housesitting responsibilities have included wiping down the counters, sweeping, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning the stove and burners, and disposing of trash/compost/recycling. My first priority is always the pets and homes I care for. I arrange my schedule according to your pets and homes in order to honor each of their specific needs at any given time, as I have a very flexible, part-time, remote job. I'm also a big homebody and am always delighted to curl up with your pets while reading, writing, or enjoying a nice cup of tea! “Raining. Walk went well. Dog pulls constantly. Must find Halty collar. Louise did everything she needed to do. Very good experience. Recommend completely but get dogwalker to stay for more than 30 minutes.”

About: I have been a pet lover my entire life. I was raised in a home where we had Ferrets, Hamsters, a Pet Skunk, a Squirrel named Boomer, as well as Dogs and Cats ... I am very loving and warm to animals and think that animals are more than pets ..they are family members. I have always been a fur mom and would be honored to help you provide the care you would want for your fur baby. Your fur baby will be cuddled, scratched, played with, and loved as if they were my own in your absence. I service Transylvania County, Jackson County and Macon County including Lake Toxaway as well as the Highlands-Cashiers area. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I am prompt and dependable and will not disappoint you or your pet. Your pets health and well being is of upmost importance to me and I will care for them as if they were my own. I am available to house sit in your home while you are away so they may stay on their normal routine. I have outstanding reviews and can provide additional references as well if needed. I water plants, can care for “off season” homes and ensure your home is safe and secure while you are away.

About: I have cared for dogs, and cats, of all kind since I was a child. I have always had them in my life, usually rescued. I was a foster mom for a Pug rescue out of Kansas City for several years, and cared for Pugs of all ages, and from various backgrounds including puppymills. I have a lot of experience with socializing dogs from abusive and neglectful situations, caring for dogs with health issues such as diabetes/blindness, and dogs needing various medications. I have rescued many dogs that have been abandoned, and found loving homes for them through home and vet checks. Caring for dogs and cats is my passion. I am currently a home maker with no children, so my schedule is very flexible. Plus, if your dog is boarded at my home, there would be no need to kennel them since I am usually home all day. If I provided care during the day for a pet in someone's home, I would be happy to follow any and all instructions, and provide at least 2 walks a day. I would also love to send daily updates with pictures so pet parents can see how happy and well cared for their pets are. If the pet is in my care at my home, there would be three walks a day. I am home all day so there would be no need to kennel them unless the owner requests it. I currently have an older Pug mix dog that is playful and good with other dogs.

About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!

“Lillie has been great working with our new dog Archie. She is very patient and gives great updates, which is very helpful when trying to figure out what behaviors we need to work on with him.”

“We were away for 10 days when our original in-home sitter had to cancel last minute, and Kalie was a total lifesaver. She stepped in quickly and took amazing care of our two pitties and our sweet kitty. One of our dogs needs a weekly injection for allergies, and Kalie handled it confidently and with no fuss. When our other pup wasn’t acting right, she checked in with us and then took him to the emergency vet without hesitation. We were so grateful she was paying such close attention. She kept us updated throughout the trip, and during our FaceTime check-ins, it was clear our crew was calm, happy, and totally comfortable with her. It gave us so much peace of mind to know they were in such capable and caring hands. As an added bonus, Kalie left our house cleaner than when she arrived, which was a wonderful surprise after a long day of travel. She truly loves animals, and it shows in everything she does. We appreciate her more than we can say and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, kind, and dependable pet sitter.”

When we’re away she sends updates to ease our minds. It allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation. Our favorite part about Ann is her caring approach for our pets, she’s very gentle and loving. We know our animals are in good hands with her!”

Chelsea L.
“My pup Holly gets so excited when she knows she’s going to see Chelsea. The minute we hit the door it’s like I don’t exist and it’s all Chels. Holly and Gidget (Chelsea’s pup) get along wonderfully. Gig even helped Holly get over her shyness with other pups. Chelsea is a kind, caring and responsible dog mom and my Holly girl loves her. Dogs know good people and Chels is the best.”
