About: Dogs have been the light and joy of my life since I was born, but when I was 10 I finally got a dog to call my own! After our family dog had puppies and refused to nurse, I spent countless days and nights bottle feeding her litter until I proved to my parents I could keep one for myself. After that, I potty trained, socialized, played with, and took that puppy on walks all by myself. Since then she’s unfortunately passed over the rainbow bridge, but friends and family constantly entrust the care of their dogs to me while they’re away! I’ve spent a lot of time with all breeds of dogs, ranging from puppies to senior dogs with dementia, and I love them and care for them all like they’re my own. I’m currently a paraprofessional for the SPED department of an elementary school, but I’m hoping to spend the summer caring for your fur-babies! School starts back up August 4, so until then I’ll be completely free to tend to any and all of your baby’s needs day and night. When it comes to caring for your babies in their own homes, I know there are two different levels of trust that need to be earned: trusting someone with your pets and trusting someone in your home. I take both responsibilities very seriously. I am more than willing and capable of adhering to any rules, routines, or special instructions you may have, and I will do my best to keep your pets on the schedule they know and love. Whether that means feeding times, medication administration, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, or simply providing companionship, I am committed to making their time without you as comfortable and stress-free as possible. I have my own reliable transportation and can arrive on time for scheduled visits, check-ins, or overnight stays. I will also keep you updated with messages, photos, and videos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Above all, I treat every animal as if they were my own, ensuring they are safe, loved, and well cared for in the environment where they feel most secure—their home. My goal is for you to return to happy pets, a well-maintained home, and complete confidence in the care they received.

About: I have been caring for pets for over 11 years. I’ve always enjoyed interacting, walking and watching my fellows neighbors beloved pets! I’m very excited to continue my experience with pet care with your fur babies! I’m currently a biology student with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the week. A typical day begins with a morning potty break or walk, breakfast, fresh water, and playtime. In the afternoon, your pet will enjoy another walk, enrichment activities, cuddles, and plenty of attention. In the evening, we’ll have dinner, another potty break or walk, relaxing playtime, and lots of affection before bedtime. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, boarding, house sitting, and overnight care. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates so you can feel connected while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I carefully follow each owner’s routine, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special instructions. My home provides a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where your furry family member can feel safe and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I have 3 years of experience caring for pets and love being around animals. While babysitting kids, I’ve also helped care for family dogs by feeding, playing with, and watching them. I have experience dog walking throughout my neighborhood and understand how important it is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I treat every pet with patience, attention, and love like they are my own. I’m available at any time. I am currently in college majoring in Criminal Justice so I am only working on that during the week days, but I am available at any time! I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I live in a gated community on a golf course, which provides a calm and secure environment. I always follow each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I make sure they receive plenty of attention, patience, and care while keeping safety my top priority. I treat every pet like family and want owners to feel fully comfortable and confident leaving their pets with me.

This may include providing a designated area for the pet to sleep, access to food and water, and regular exercise and playtime. I follow your instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and any other specific needs their pets may have. It's important to ensure that the pets are kept safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and to provide regular updates and communication to the owners about how their pets are doing. In both cases, it's important to be prepared for emergencies and to have a plan in place for any unexpected situations that may arise.

About: I have had dogs in my care my whole life; I love them, and to me, they are part of the family—important members. Sometimes I feel they need more care and love than it might seem; they get stressed and often develop bad habits because of it, so I focus on ensuring they aren't stressed during their walks. playtime (they need to burn off energy) and walk time (they need to explore and use their sense of smell), Make sure they are well-hydrated, since walks involve peeing, which results in water loss. I consider dogs to be another member of the family, so I understand the importance of their safety and follow your specific instructions (zero contact with other dogs, zero contact with children who might want to pet other people's pets—it's up to you).

About: I can't wait to meet your furry loved one! I absolutely love spending time with animals, especially dogs and cats. After losing our first born 'child,' a pit bull mix named Bella, I was finally able to adopt again in May 2019. Shelby is a blue heeler mix, and she loves playing with other dogs. My husband and three young kids also share my love of dogs. If you choose to allow your dog to stay at my house, it will be spoiled and snuggled and treated like a king or queen! We do have 2 cats, but they always hide out upstairs when we have doggy guests. You are welcome to come and meet us first if you are interested in my service. I look forward to working with you!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Whitehall. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Whitehall.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Whitehall. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
