About: I grew up around livestock and all sorts of other animals. I recently lost my own dog but when I had her I used Rover to help find a regular dog sitter for when I went on teacher conferences. I recently became trained in dog and cat CPR and first aid. I am not afraid to give medications to an animal and have taken care of dogs that have special needs such as anxiety, fear of fireworks, fear of guns and high energy. I am currently on a teaching schedule but after memorial day I will be available most days. If I am away during the summer it's usually just during the day. They will take first priority, getting food, water, any medications prescribed and taken to go outside will all take place before my needs. I can provide a kennel at my home and kennel trained my own dog understanding the process for that.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. I grew up with 6 other siblings and we always had animals around. I lost our beloved family dog about two years ago and I do not want to commit to raising another one since I like to travel. But on my down time, I really miss having a dog to love that’s why I thought this would be a great option! I recently retired so I have a lot of flexibility, and a lot more time to spend at home and to care for your dog. It’s just me and my wife that live in the home and she would be available to help if needed. We live in the country on a one acre lot so your dog would have a big area to roam! I am fine with the pet staying inside my home if that is what works best for you. I am happy to use a crate if that’s what’s preferred!

About: I have taken care of 3 different dogs over the past 10 years. i worked on training them soon after my parents would bring them home and I really put in my time and effort towards my pets. I am currently working part time so I would have lots of time to spend with your pets! Whenever I am not working I will be available. I have multiple crates for your dog if needed, play pen,and an electric fence, and many dog toys. My dog is a two year old cavapoo and he is a certified therapy dog so he is very calm and friendly.

I will make sure ur pets has the attention and care they need always!

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and genuinely love all animals. I had my first cat at age 4 and grew up with both cats and dogs. I also lived with a rescued pit bull for several years (she had a rough past and didn’t do well around other dogs), so I have some experience with anxious pups on walks. I understand how important it is to build trust and work at a pet’s pace. Whether your pet is social and playful or a bit shy and needs space, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at and give them the best care possible. Even with a full-time job in finance, I make time for what matters—and for me, that includes animals. I work a standard weekday schedule, but my evenings and weekends are all open for pet care. The flexibility of my job may allow for a late morning - early afternoon check-in. Whether its a walk, evening check-in, or weekend drop-ins, I’m happy to build a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. I also spend most of my downtime at home, so if your pets need longer visits, I can give them plenty of attention and company. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comforting as possible. I’ll follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding, medications, walking schedules, or just the way your pet likes their favorite toy tossed. I know every animal is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and needs. If we arrange care in my home, your pet will be treated like one of my own. I have a calm, pet-friendly space and three cat companions who are used to other animals and are gentle and well-socialized. I always do a slow introduction and only bring in pets that I know will be comfortable in that environment. Safety and comfort are my top priorities, whether I’m in your home or you're trusting your pet with mine.

About: I'm familiar with several different sizes and breeds of pets. Some dogs, some cats. I'm used to always having a pet around. I enjoy spending time with pets. I'm currently doing what I can for work on my own. I'm hoping pet care can become another thing I do. Let me know what you need accomplished and when. I will do my best to keep your pets on a similar schedule as they are used to. I will also do my best to keep the pets comfortable.

About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. I currently only work 3 days a week for 4 hours so I’m VERY flexible! You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!

I have dealt with scuffles as well as dogs that were very persistent. Currently I am at a doggy daycare Fridays and Saturdays taking care of daycare and boarding dogs. Sunday thought Thursday I am at home taking care of my own dog by continuing his training, taking him on walks, playing with him, and watching him play with his sister. In my home I care for my pets by making sure I give them attention, exercise, mental stimulation, fun outside time with bones and toys, as well as making sure my puppy stays rested after a long day. When taking care of clients pets I treat them the exact same way and I make sure I follow the owners instructions to ensure the best care for the best pups!

About: I am a fourth-year Animal Science major at the University of Minnesota wanting to pursue vet school. I own a dog, two cats, and one horse personally. I grew up on the same 20 acres that my grandfather's small animal and equine veterinary practice resided so I am well versed in the vet-med functions. My grandma also bred Miniature Aussies when I was a kid so I am very comfortable with puppy-age alongside the energy of herding dogs. I have overnight pet sat for numerous friends and neighbors alongside just check-ins throughout the day. These animals have ranged from cows, horses, goats, chickens, and dogs and cats. I am very comfortable with numerous different personalities as I have watched a friend's boarding kennel for numerous different weekends. I usually go home every weekend so am typically just available Monday-Friday Morning as I am scheduled to work at home alongside wanting to see my own animals. I try to follow their usual routine in their own home which can range from feeding them at their usual time and going outside for walks or potty time. I also allow them to sleep in the bed with me if that is what they are used to. The least abnormal day for them is the goal.

She was super nice and the dogs were comfortable with her right away, they left the house without even looking back once, lol. Will be reaching out to her again for another walk soon!”

Callista C.
“Calcifer is an amazing care-taker, parent, animal lover! Just knowing Calcifer briefly is enough to know his passion is for lil creatures of all sorts. It's awesome to see the joy and care he has shown toward his own pets, including amphibians, reptiles, rodents, cats, pups, and more. My three kitties are always excited to get all the attention they can while Calcifer is around. Our Tuxie, Sage, is obsessed with getting carried like a toddler on Calcifer's shoulder. Cedar and Basil likewise never miss a chance to cuddle up with Calcifer and soak in some lovin'... Or ask for treats. Overall, I know Calcifer understands the individuality of our babies and connects with them well. Calcifer is attentive, because of his connection and compassion with animals. He definitely knows how to keep established routine and respond promptly, but he also responds well to needs that arise in the present. You can absolutely expect that strong values are at the center of Calcifer's "work," because it is passion. Having the great love, added to a wide range of experience and knowledge, makes Calcifer a great fit for the many needs that your pets may have!”

Makayla W.
“I’m a super anxious pet parent and Makayla is one of the few people I trust to look after my 3 cats. You can tell she genuinely loves all pets and strives to care for yours as if they are her own. She is excellent at following detailed instructions which is absolutely essential for my furry family because they all have different dietary restrictions and routines that must be followed. Makayla’s company and care was a saving-grace the first time I had to leave my cats alone for a longer trip abroad and I (and my cats!) would absolutely have her back in a heartbeat. She made me feel like she really respects the level of care I expect with my cats and I was able to leave them without worry that something would happen to them or they would be lonely while I was away. I cannot recommend Makayla enough to my fellow pet parents.”

Melissa V.

“Amazing”

Markus R.
“Markus has taken care of both my dog, Ace, and cat, Robin. He is responsible, hardworking and passionate. He is an animal lover and truly cares about what he does!”

Logan S.
“Logan has a love for dogs and that shines when she watches our dogs. She has watched them a few times over long weekends. She takes care of feeding and even administered meds this last time when they needed to be on something for a few days. She treats them like family and spoils them. We recently rescued a cockapoo and she took time and care to warm up to her. If you need someone that truly cares for animals and that you can trust, you won't be disappointed in hiring Logan to watch your fur babies.”

“Happy sleepy pup after his walk!”

Anyka A.
“Anyka has a great enthusiasm about dogs. She grew up with an Australian Shepherd who was her entire world. Ever since she was little she showed a certain love for dogs that I had not seen. She loves taking care of dogs and ensuring the best care possible. Taking care of dogs is definitely her biggest passion and I love seeing her go after this job.”

Megan W.
“We love Megan❣️ Especially our four legged family! Russell our AmStaff adores her and our cat Monday thinks she’s the treat bringer. We love that she grew up in her grandpas vet clinic and is following in his footsteps. She loves animals and they know it! She is kind, thoughtful, responsible and on time! Don’t hesitate to reach out to her for your pets care, they will be so happy you did!”
