Elizabeth has always been great and very accommodating! Her family has been a great place for us to leave our dog Lexi. We have left our dog there multiple times and will definitely again when we are back in the area.

Megan was able to watch my dog last minute, when our original pet sitter fell through. She took great care of Max and sent pictures and was easy to get ahold of if needed! I couldn’t recommend her more! Max had such a great weekend stay and I had a peace of mind knowing he was in good hands! We will definitely rebook with Megan next time we’re in town!

This was my first time using this service. I was a little nervous but Sydney made it so easy! She is wonderful. I would completely trust her with any of my animals. She was able to watch our puppy with very short notice. I definitely wish we lived closer because we felt very safe dropping our baby off to her!

About: Hi! My name is Kayla, and I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I started dog sitting at people’s homes with my cousin when I was just 10 years old, and ever since then I’ve loved helping care for pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m currently the Executive Assistant at Pawsitively Posh Pet Resort & Spa and the Rescue Coordinator at Pawsitively Posh Pet Rescue, where I work hands-on with animals every day. I also have experience caring for diabetic dogs and understand the importance of routines, medications, and extra attention to their needs. Along with dogs, I’ve also helped care for horses and cows, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes. I would love the opportunity to care for your fur baby like they’re one of my own! 🐾 I have very flexible hours and will match your pet’s routine exactly. If you feed at 7–8am, I’ll do the same, and if dinner is at 6–7pm, I’ll follow that schedule too. If your pet needs medication, I’ll stay consistent with your timing as well. I don’t make your pet fit my schedule—I fit yours, so your pet stays comfortable and stress-free I have a safe, fenced yard and dogs of my own, so if your dog is friendly they’ll have a great companion—but if not, that’s completely okay too. I always adjust to your pet’s comfort level and needs, whether that means space, separation, or extra attention. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and truly at home while you’re away.

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician so I am professionally trained to know how to take care of your animals especially if there is an emergency! I currently work full time at Lincoln Memorial University. I can only do weekends because of my schedule, but I can also see what I can do to help during the week! I do not have a fenced in yard. My dogs have been trained to stay in the yard. I have 3 dogs, they are younger and very playful. I also have 3 cats. Even though I do not have a fence, I can offer walks in the yard or walking up and down the road and put them on the leash while they use the bathroom. I have a whole room dedicated for the animals where they can stay unless they are kept uncaged then they can have free roam of the house.

About: I have had pets all my life. I love them all…especially the doggies! We have four rescue pups, a bunny and and a bearded dragon so we share the love with all different animals. I started a dog treat bakery business a couple of years ago that’s really starting to grow, so I’m now transitioning from the 9-5 job so I can pursue my passion for animals full time. I own my own dog bakery and work from home, so my availability is very flexible. We have an 11 acre farm with 2 separate “dog yards”. I will take your dog(s) for long walks and of course playtime if they like, give them food water and treats as needed, and I’m happy to accommodate with any special requests if your fur baby has a favorite activity, treat, or any special needs.

Mojo loves socialization, so he really seemed to enjoy his stay with Kiki's 6 dogs, cat and toddler! The sweet photos were so reassuring. I was concerned because the fence on the property was a corral type used for horses and was not secure for an escape artist dog and runner such as Mojo. But Kiki took him out on a leash several times throughout the day as she does with some of her own dogs and it worked out fine, especially with lots of rain. Bottom line is that Mojo was well cared for and loved on like by experienced dog handlers who treated him like a furry family member. Unless your dog requires free runs, Kiki's is a perfect place to board your dog.

About: I have been a dog sitter/cat sitter, off and on for 20 years. I love animals! I treat and love them as if they were my own. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced in yard, but I have plenty of yard around my home. I prefer smaller dogs, but I am flexible. Must be good with kids! I have a 14 year old who loves animals and can't wait to give them attention they need. I will be happy to come get your dog or meet you prior to watching your dog. I have a full-time job. I leave the house around 8, and I'm home most days by 4:00. My husband will be here to help out as needed. I will walk them, play and care for them as they are my own. I own a large crate so if you are crate training I can be consistent and provide that service.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities for many years. Friends, neighbors, and family trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and give lots of love and attention to their pets. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies or calm senior dogs, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to be home most of the day and give your pet plenty of attention and supervision. I’m flexible with scheduling and available most weekdays and weekends. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and lots of care. I live in a clean, pet-friendly apartment complex with safe walking areas and green spaces nearby for regular walks and exercise. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I prioritize leash safety and supervised outdoor time. My home is calm and structured, and I follow each pet’s routine closely. I can crate if needed and will always treat your pet with love, patience, and responsibility

Mellisa did a great job. She and her family love dogs. They treat visiting dogs just the same as their own and the dogs felt that immediately.. She took pictures periodically and kept the owners informed of how well their fur babies were doing. Dogs were not tramatized and she was timely as to pickup and drop off times. I would highly recommend Mellisa and would have no second thoughts about using her services many times over.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
