About: Growing up in a big dog- and cat-loving home, my affinity for animals was realized at an early age. I’ve been the go-to person amongst family and friends for pet care since I was a kid. I’ve dabbled in this passion on the side my whole life, but am now pursuing it full tilt and hope to build a career in conservational zoology. In 2020, pet care grew outside of my inner circle of friends and family, and I gained clientele I still work for to this day. While in Hawaii from August 2024 to February 2026, I dog-sat for five families on top of my day job, regularly tending to their pets every week (and some every day). This included walks and meals, house calls, trips to the beach, hikes, daily visits to the local dog parks, bathing and brushing, extended stays at my home while owners traveled, and coordinating play dates with other pet-sitters. I’ve handled animals of all sizes and temperaments, administered medication, and adhered to the specific needs of the families in my care. My Pets: My 120lb Saint Bernard/Bernese, Hobie, was my dutiful companion in pet care, living up to his “nanny dog” personality. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
