About: Hi! My name is Amber. I am a teacher-turned-author looking to serve your every doggy need. Growing up, I thought I wanted to be a Vet. I spent every Saturday volunteering at the Ross Country Humane Society from ages 10-18 and was part of the Humane Society of the United States Advisory Board. I have spent thousands of hours with animals in shelters/rescues. After much prayer and consideration, God led me to writing instead of Veterinary work. I have experience in pet and house sitting, boarding, and walking. I love pets of all ages, breeds, and sizes, but have a particular soft spot for golden retrievers, huskies, and terrier mixes. As an author, I love showing love to animals and find it to be an excellent and comforting mind-break. Since getting married, I currently offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting in Chillicothe, Ohio. I don't currently own any pets of my own. I have worked with large and small pets and enjoy spending time with them. From pen to paws, I love serving your dogs through walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, running, and playing. I'm your sitter with a smile and an author who lives to serve! :) I am a full-time teacher-turned-author so I work from home. Pet care fits pretty easily into my routine as I make my schedule. Walking dogs, conducting drop-in visits, and house/pet sitting give me the mental break I need. Other than Church, or running errands, I am pretty flexible with needs. I offer complimentary photos and videos, check-in texts and messages, lots of love, walks, exercise, treats, and fun! Every pet has a stay like they are one of my pets. As mentioned, I don't currently don't have any pets of my own, but I grew up with dogs.

About: I have never been without a dog my whole life. I was taught at a very young age to love and treat my dogs like family. Now, as an adult, I treat every dog and animal with love and kindness. Your dog will be treated pretty much like a person around me. I have also previously worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, which taught me to recognize certain signs and behaviors from all dogs. I have learned to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I do not discriminate certain breeds of dogs, I belive every dog deserves a chance. Furthermore, I have been around and taken care of senior dogs. This has included anything from simply letting the senior dog out more often to administering medicactions. I am avaliable mostly in the afternoon and evening hours. I work first shift from 6am to 2pm, but Mondays and Tuesdays are free for me anytime of the day!

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with both puppies/kittens and senior pets, and I treat every animal with love and respect. I’m kind-hearted, attentive, and always make sure to meet each pet’s needs based on the owner’s instructions. Whether your pet needs extra care, playtime, or just some love while you’re away—I’m here for them. I currently work part-time at Raising Cane’s, but animal care is a big part of my daily life. I care for my 3 cats, a leopard gecko, and a 55-gallon fish tank every day. I feed, clean, and check on all of them in the morning before work and again when I get home. On my days off, I spend even more time making sure their environments are clean and their needs are fully met. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I’m always happy to adjust my schedule for the pets I’m responsible for. I’m very safety-conscious and always prioritize the comfort and well-being of every pet I care for. I prefer to care for pets in their own home, where they’re familiar with their surroundings and routines. I closely follow any instructions provided and make sure pets feel calm, safe, and loved while their owners are away. While I’m open to caring for pets in my home when needed, I always make sure the space is secure, clean, and calm. As a vet tech student, I’m trained to notice signs of stress or discomfort and respond quickly to keep pets happy and safe.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah. I would describe myself as your run of the mill animal lover. I have my own home and it’s just myself, my two year old Shiba Inu, a senior cat, and a kitten. I live on .25 acres and have a chain link fenced in yard. My yard is pretty dig proof, as my own dog is a digger, however it is a shorter chain link fence that could be jumped by a bigger dog. I do have a line I could attached the dog to that would still give access to most of the yard. Otherwise, I wanted to do boarding on Rover because I know how hard it is to trust people to give your dog the time and attention you would want it to have while you are away. I work five minutes from my house, go home for an hour everyday for lunch, and spend most of my weekends at home. If I were boarding your pet, I would spend the weekend at home. My house is also five minutes away from a park that has two dog parks and a walking trail. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos while your pet is staying with me! I let my pets have free access to the entire house and furniture while I am at work, but would be happy to crate if your pet needs it. I also have the ability to separate the pets should it be necessary for any reason. I do work full time, but since I live so close to work I come home for my lunch break everyday and spend an hour with my dog in the yard. Depending on the weather, I also will walk my dog or take him to the dog park by my house. I spend most of my weekends at home, only leaving to do things like grocery shop and that. My pets are my kids. I care deeply about them being safe and well cared for, and I would make sure your pets feel the same way. I am happy to crate pets or let them roam free depending on your preference. I also make sure they have plenty of playtime and love. My pets are great with each other and will keep your pet company as well!

About: I've always had dogs since I was a baby. I believe dogs are like family and need to be treated as such. My friends and family have relied on me to care for their pets. I have all day Wednesday and Thursday available! Our dogs can have all the play dates they want! I do work Monday, Tuesday, & Friday from 9am-8pm and Saturday from 8am-6pm. I have a fenced in yard and a dog that will keep your fur baby company! I can also crate your pet if needed be!

About: I’ve cared for pets of all kinds for over 10 years, including walking, feeding, and bathing. As the owner of a 3-year-old Golden Retriever, I understand the importance of treating pets like family. I’m skilled in senior pet care, puppy training, and creating a safe, loving environment for furry friends. I’m currently working part-time with a flexible schedule. I’m available to provide pet care at your home during weekends and weekdays after 3 PM if I am working those days. I prioritize keeping your pets safe and comfortable in their own home environment. As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining their routine and ensuring their well-being while you’re away.

About: Kennel tech experience, owned multiple dogs for the past 6 years. I volunteer at dog shows. I have love for all dogs and enjoy spending time with them. Currently working part time. So that means lots of free time I can spend with your pets! I’m available everyday or the week to assist you in caring for your pet! Daily walks are extremely important for your dogs. It life has you to busy I can be there to help out! There is no other way I’d rather spend my extra time.

Christy H.
“Christy absolutely LOVES animals! So much so that she will end up adopting her “foster baby” instead of letting them go to a questionable home. She has worked in animal fostering for years because of her passion for helping animals. I would trust her in my home and with my furbaby anytime. You and your pets will love her as much as we do!”

“Amazing experience! My first time having a dog walker and she made me feel so confident and comfortable each day knowing someone was taking such good care of my pup!”

Amber G.
“Amber has watched my dog Sam for about the past 4 years each summer when we take our family vacation. She is also was very flexible if we provided last minute dates. Amber was so attentive when we explained what she needed to do, and followed everything perfectly. She made sure he always got food and water and put to bed at night with a treat. She is so good with him and he loves having her come over to watch him so he wouldn’t have to go to the kennel. She also took care of our cat Sebastian while she was there and did an equally amazing job. I would highly recommend Amber as a dog sitter!!”

Jalesia D.
“Jalesia has been a wonderful dog sitter, caregiver to our dog Lovey Dovey. Our dog is a medium size Bernese mountain dog. Lovey can be a very talkative but Jalesia shows her the care and love that she needs to feel safe and secure. I love her work so much that I recommended her to family and friends.”

Sarah D.
“Sarah often travels with me to dog shows to help with my Shiloh Shepherds. She walks each dog multiple times every day and is attentive to the needs of each. Sarah is aware of her environment and notices other dogs or situations that may cause concern. She cares for them as if they were her own. I can also attest to the fact that Sarah puts the needs of her pets above her own needs.”
