“We needed a pet sitter in a bind, and was grateful that Dana could take our dog, Duke for the weekend on such short notice. We were happy with the care that was provided and the communication. Duke is a shy guy and had never been boarded or stayed with a sitter so I was a little worried about how he would do. He did great and Dana kept me updated the entire weekend.”

“Cristi was a wonderful choice as a sitter for my pup, Macey. The communication and daily updates were great and she took great care of my dog. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience as a first-time Rover user!”

“Kimberly and her family were so good to our little Molly that I was worried she wouldn’t want to come home. It was a true blessing finding Kimberly on Rover. I hope she has room for her the next time I need a dog border. Thank you so very much Kimberly.”

“Elizabeth is great! My dog Calypso stayed with her for an extended weekend and Elizabeth updated me each day. Definitely will return😊Thanks again!”

“Stacey and her family’s home was a perfect stay for Moki Marie. She took walks and had lots of play time with the kids and snuggle time with the whole family. Plus, my feeding directions were followed which is important for Moki’s tummy. If you want your dog loved and cared for with extra attention, I highly recommend Stacey and Bruce and their family!!!! 🥰”

“This was our first time having someone that wasn't family watch our furbabies overnight while we were out of town and we were more than happy with the care Karen provided. She loved our two bulldogs, Bella and Ace, like they were her own and kept us updated with pictures during the two days we were away! They obviously had tons of fun there as they were passed out within the first 30 minutes of being back home! We will definitely be using Karen again whenever we need a sitter for them!!”
“Rosemarie and her husband were absolutely fabulous with Dolly. They kept us up to date on her pregress with several pics, and had our shy little girl comfortable and playing almost immediately after dropping her off. This is our sitter as long as they keep doing this. Chuck C.”

“Rebecca was so easy to work with. She met us outside and our girl was right at ease with her. Rebecca sent us pictures and intermittent updates on how she was doing. I would absolutely reach out to Rebecca again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for 15 years. I have also worked at a vet clinic on kennel stuff and have administrated medication for both cats and dogs. I am currently working part time, and I’m in the process of starting my own business at home so I will be home mostly all day. At home I have a fenced in backyard with lots of room to run. I have a car that I can take dogs to the park and walk as well as being able to get to clients houses. I take care of all animals as if they are my own.

“We could not have asked for a better sitter! :) It was hard to leave our pup behind but Laura made us feel at ease with regular updates and sweet photos throughout his weekend stay! Our rambunctious golden clearly had a blast—especially playing with little Smitty, Laura’s adorable pup! Laura and her family genuinely seemed to enjoy having Bodhi in their home, and that meant a lot to us! Thank you, again! Highly recommend!!”

“Dajon is dope - Bishop felt right at home and came back home not skipping a beat so I could tell he was in good hands and was treated well. Certainly recommend Dajon and I will definitely request his services again.”

“Sasha is great, would highly recommend. I am new to the area and Sasha made me and my two small chihuahuas feel very comfortable with the process. I was immediately impressed with her business and knowledge, I also love the photos and notes about the dogs! She is the top of my list and am so happy to have found her!”

“Katie was great! She was able to watch our Bichon even though it was super short notice. When we arrived to pick him up next day we found him cuddling on the couch getting all the attention he could have ever wanted. We definitely recommend her services and we will definitely ask her to watch him again! Thanks so much!”

“Cody went above and beyond while watching my fur baby! She was able to sit for me while I went on a work trip. She followed all my care instructions and sent pictures daily. He was sad to leave his new friend after an amazing stay with her.”

About: Hi I’m Zoë! I love all animals, big and small and have been around them my whole life. >I have owned many different types of animals: dogs, cats, fish, a ferret, guinea pigs, a hedgehog, ect... >I have experience with a spectrum of ages, sizes, and breeds of dogs. I am good with puppies in training, as well as senior dogs who need accommodations. >Right now I have a dog (Bailey, 3), a farm cat, a fish, and also a flock of ducks. >I also offer yard clean up services and homemade dogfood! >I have been working for Rover since 2023 after I graduated from OSU >I moved to Fairfield County in 2024 I currently work part time at a greenhouse and run my own business. Most of my days are very flexible and I am open to new short and long term clients! On Visits: I’m down stop in and visit your dog, or take them out on a walk in the yard or neighborhood. Feeding, playing, walking, trick training, giving medicine, and having hang time are all in my comfort zone. I can follow specific directions and trust my gut instincts. I love all dogs, big and small. They all have different personalities and I like to take my time to learn a dog and their preferences and tendencies. I always bring a treat with me on meet and greets if allowed, and I understand dog behavior enough to interpret their mood. For Dog Boarding: At my house, we have baby gates to separate the floors of the house, the cat stays upstairs most of the time. I like to have dogs meet on leashes or through a gate, I never leave unfamiliar dogs alone together, and my house is very dog friendly, with hardwood and linoleum and not much floor clutter. Outside, my dog is off leash trained (I know I am spoiled), but all other dogs I keep on a leash if we are outside or on an 100ft rope when we take walks through the field.

Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe and happy. I’m reliable, attentive, and always willing to follow any specific routines or instructions you have for your pet. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I’m available weekdays from 7am to about 5pm and full-time on weekends for walks, drop-ins, or boarding. I can adjust my schedule when needed and will always make sure your pet gets consistent care, playtime, and potty breaks. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a clean home where dogs can play and relax. I also have friendly dogs who can keep your pup company if they enjoy being social. I’m able to crate your dog if needed and will always follow your instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, and any special care. I make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and treated like family at all times.

“Khalia took care of our two cats while we were away, and we are very happy to have left our little guys in her care. She sent us pictures each time she went to fed/take care of them, and helped out with one of the cats' medication. It was great to know/feel they were in good hands!”

“Charity was great! She was so attentive with my cats. They were so relaxed when I got home. I will absolutely hire her to care for my kitties again. I highly recommend.”

About: I am a new cat mom and have learned the ropes to really care for a cat. I love playing with cats and will accommodate anything needed! I can be a high maintenance cat mom so don’t feel embarrassed by anything you would want done while I’m there! 🤍

About: I cared for my own two cats, so I understand how important it is to keep cats comfortable, safe, and on their routine. I have experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, playtime, and paying attention to each cat’s unique personality. I’m patient, gentle, and respectful of cats who may be shy or independent. I’ll treat your cat like my own and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for while you’re away.

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and bring both experience and genuine care to every pet I watch. I was raised on a farm surrounded by animals, and I’ve owned dogs for most of my life, including a small dog I cared for over 16 years. In the last 5 years we have added 2 cats to our pack and an 8-month-old Golden Retriever puppy. I’m very comfortable with puppy energy, routines, and reinforcement of basic training. I also work as an intervention specialist at Bridgeway Academy, which has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to understand behavior — skills that translate naturally to animal care. I have two years of pet sitting experience for family and friends and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. My goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

“Nafawna was absolutely wonderful with my 2 cats. I could tell from the pictures she sent that they loved her right away! Amazing communication and she is very kind. Highly recommend.”

“Rhonda did amazing watching our 4 month old kitten! We wanted to make sure she could be loved and have plenty of attention while we were on vacation. Rhonda gave daily updates and pictures and our kitten was so comfortable and happy staying with her! It made our trip much better knowing that Wednesday was being cared for so well especially since she was new to being an inside cat! I would definitely recommend Rhonda to anyone needing their animal boarded”

About: Not only am I a mother of three furry friends, but I also take the time and effort to consider each pets needs based on their age, comfort level, and personality. Please don’t be worried that because I’m new to Rover I won’t be able to carry out good care. Caring for animals (even farm animals), has been something that’s been carried throughout my family. I will make sure your pet gets stimulated the way YOU want. Whether that’s walks or relaxation. Or whether that’s helping a puppy get adjusted to the leash correctly. I have passion for this field, as well as love for the animals. My average day consists of not only caring for myself, but my furry friends as well. Taking care of animals helps me get set up for my future career, (vet tech) as I’m currently enrolled in colleges courses. My pets travel with me, but when I’m assigned to others care I will occasionally leave them at home. When I’m at home, my babies get all of my attention and as many belly rubs as they want. Safety around animals is a huge component of sitting. I would not just trust anybody with my babies. Supervision 100% of the time I’m in charge of the furry friends. I never want to overstep an animals patience, so learning to trust and cater to the animal is something I’ve adapted to doing. When I’m at others homes, I always take into consideration each pets comfort levels and needs so I can make sure they’re taken care of as much as possible.

About: This is my first time trying to be in the type of business but I’ve always wanted to be involved in take care of pets weather it’s at a shelter, saving them or even just taking care of them because I have a love for them ❤️ I’m completely free, I’ve been trying to work at other job weather it’s in food or in the grocery isles and I never felt like it was me, like I needed to do more if you were to bring your dog, I have a big back yard and I also have my own dog, shes always so playful but she can be a bit territorial so if your dog and my dog don’t get alone don’t worry ! I will make sure to put my dog in a kennel because she would have to learn to be nice ! If you wanted me to come to you I would bring some toys to play with as well as love ❤️!
“I feel good leaving my precious Samuel with Rosemarie. I always get updates with pics and videos. If you're looking for a sitter to feel comfortable with, look no further. I've had trouble in the past with other sitters due to my drop off time being so early, but she's always ready for the drop off at the agreed upon time. That's really important if you have to be at work. Samuel always goes straight to the door when he gets out of the car. He enjoys spending his time with this sitter. It's been great!”

“Christy was so great with our dogs for their drop in daycare! We were on a road trip and needed a safe place for them to stay for the day. She accepted them with very short notice and has a house that is fully set up for dogs. I recommend her to anyone needing pet care around the Circleville, Ohio area.”

About: Experience & Philosophy With over a decade of hands-on experience caring for a diverse array of animals—from dogs and cats to reptiles and small exotics—I bring a deep, foundational understanding of animal behavior and needs to every walk. This extensive background, enriched by my work with animal foster groups, has honed my ability to read subtle cues and adapt to each pet's unique personality and comfort level. I don't just see a walk as a routine task; I view it as a vital opportunity for enrichment, exercise, and building a positive connection. My Approach: Patience & Partnership My core focus is on fostering trust—both with your pet and with you. I believe patience is the cornerstone of a great relationship, so I take the time to let shy or anxious dogs warm up at their own pace, using calm, positive reinforcement. Because of this I maintain my own schedule, which means your pets can be my priority when I am with them. My home is an active and engaging space, perfectly suited for dogs who thrive with plenty of stimulation and exercise. As the proud owner of a high-energy herding dog, I have firsthand experience in meeting the needs of active breeds. I maintain a clean, secure, and pet-proofed home to ensure a stress-free environment. With a resident expert in canine energy, I am exceptionally attentive to reading play styles and ensuring all interactions are positive and supervised. If your dog loves to play and learn, they will fit right into our active and loving household.

About: Hello! My name is Sarah. I would describe myself as your run of the mill animal lover. I have my own home and it’s just myself, my two year old Shiba Inu, a senior cat, and a kitten. I live on .25 acres and have a chain link fenced in yard. My yard is pretty dig proof, as my own dog is a digger, however it is a shorter chain link fence that could be jumped by a bigger dog. I do have a line I could attached the dog to that would still give access to most of the yard. Otherwise, I wanted to do boarding on Rover because I know how hard it is to trust people to give your dog the time and attention you would want it to have while you are away. I work five minutes from my house, go home for an hour everyday for lunch, and spend most of my weekends at home. If I were boarding your pet, I would spend the weekend at home. My house is also five minutes away from a park that has two dog parks and a walking trail. I would be more than happy to send pictures and videos while your pet is staying with me! I let my pets have free access to the entire house and furniture while I am at work, but would be happy to crate if your pet needs it. I also have the ability to separate the pets should it be necessary for any reason. I do work full time, but since I live so close to work I come home for my lunch break everyday and spend an hour with my dog in the yard. Depending on the weather, I also will walk my dog or take him to the dog park by my house. I spend most of my weekends at home, only leaving to do things like grocery shop and that. My pets are my kids. I care deeply about them being safe and well cared for, and I would make sure your pets feel the same way. I am happy to crate pets or let them roam free depending on your preference. I also make sure they have plenty of playtime and love. My pets are great with each other and will keep your pet company as well!

About: I have never been without a dog my whole life. I was taught at a very young age to love and treat my dogs like family. Now, as an adult, I treat every dog and animal with love and kindness. Your dog will be treated pretty much like a person around me. I have also previously worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, which taught me to recognize certain signs and behaviors from all dogs. I have learned to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I do not discriminate certain breeds of dogs, I belive every dog deserves a chance. Furthermore, I have been around and taken care of senior dogs. This has included anything from simply letting the senior dog out more often to administering medicactions. I am avaliable mostly in the afternoon and evening hours. I work first shift from 6am to 2pm, but Mondays and Tuesdays are free for me anytime of the day!
About: I love caring for other people dogs! I treat them the way I would want my pups taken care of. I personally have 4 dogs of my own, two of them being working dogs. My schedule is flexible, I work two 24 hour shifts a week. I don't have set days, so contact me and ask if I'm available. Thank you! I work two 24 hr shifts a week, they are not set days. Just contact me for my availability. I have no problem with early or late visits. I will always follow any rules set by the owners. If you are not comfortable with walks, then I won't walk your dog. Let me know what is appropriate for your pets, and I will follow them!

About: I’ve grown up rescuing animals from unfortunate events my entire life. I currently have 6 cats and 3 dogs , all rescued. They range from 7 months - 9 years in age. I work Fulltime from home, 9-5 Monday - Friday with plenty of down time to help everyone with their littles !! I have plenty of free time to help with necessities. My cats are indoor / outdoor , so they get out just like my dogs. My cats stay out longer then my dogs. But my dogs get let out every 1-2 hours. Depending on their needs. My puppy is every hour because she’s young and my older dogs prefer every 2 hours.

“Sasha is great, would highly recommend. I am new to the area and Sasha made me and my two small chihuahuas feel very comfortable with the process. I was immediately impressed with her business and knowledge, I also love the photos and notes about the dogs! She is the top of my list and am so happy to have found her!”

“I cannot express how amazing Emily and her family have been. I’ve had her watch my pup multiple times and each time he comes back happy and tired from all of the running and playing!”

“Our Springerdoodle stayed with Christy for three days. We had a meet and greet the week before and Christy asked about numerous things to make sure that we all knew what to expect and how we wanted things like feeding, sleeping, etc. handled. She has a lot of experience caring for dogs, both her own and fosters. She also has a lot of experience in dog sitting. She's a true animal lover!”

“I can highly recommend Rene and her family! I have boarded my 2 dogs with her twice in the last few months and was very pleased each time! It is easy to see that she and her family are real animal lovers!”

“The whole experience was amazing. It was great to do a meet and great prior to Henry’s drop off. They welcomed Henry as he was their own pup. He stayed with them for three nights and I never had to worry about him. We got several pictures and videos as updates ! We are so pleased to found such a good option when we are away.”
